If you want to buy a 18' rollback truck to just haul your BX23, it will work great, no, excellent. Not many of us can justify the $$$ to do this. That's why I bought a truck and trailer. Why haul around the trailer space when you don't need it?

I don't use my truck as a daily driver any more (86 VW Diesel Jetta for that!), but I could. You really can't use a 25' long, 20K GVW flatbed as a daily driver.

Thanks for the advice on the hook for my loader! I used 1/2" strap 4 1/2 wide by 62 1/2 long bolted on Bucket with 1/2 bolts, and the old man (me) is pretty proud. I painted it JD Green the only problem is I used Stainless Steel Hardwear and didn't paint them and they kinda stand out! Got anymore good features? Thanks again

Call the dealer back and tell him/ or her, you'd like to buy a quick coupler for your new tractor. They're a couple hundred bucks, they'll know what you want and your back and your nerves will heal quickly. I'm somewhat physically challenged, so I really can't muscle three pt. impliments around much any more, so I really enjoy having the ability to back up lift the three pt. and the impliment is mounted. it'll be the best money you've spent in a while. Cheif, last night at 11 pm I took delivery of a tandem duel trailer, 6000 pounds. Along with this one was another of the same, a skid stear trailer, another car trailer and a 50 foot goose neck car trailer that everything was on,total of 35,000 pounds behind this truck. This is the killer, it was a 2002 Dodge one ton,diesel, he had a chip controller on the dash but even still I couldn't believe it. AND he bought it new and it now has 305,000 miles on it all hauling loads like this. 35000 ponds, my friends tandem axle Mack with a 300 horse 1400 lbs of torque Mack engine isn't rated for that!!!!

I can't help much with the Long tractor. When I was looking my local dealer didn't have those model in stock.

I ended up with the TC 30 9x3. The TC 29 will give you a little more loader capacity and the curved hood/loader arms. Could be a plus as its harder to see the bucket on the TC 30. I don't have the hoe yet, hopefully in the spring but you can use the same one on either tractor.

The TC 29 has a few more bells and whistles than the 30, but for me the price difference was the deciding factor plus it has slightly more PTO horsepower. Between those two, you'll need to try them out and see which one best fits you and your budget.

I just got my BX 23 3 weeks ago today Just hit the 50 hour mark and gotta do the 50 Hr.SERVICE.

I have a 5' BB on my 4110. I have some trouble pulling more than half a box of gravel up my 14% grade driveway. Other than that I've had no trouble. I've only used it to spread gravel with the teeth removed, but it works fine except up hill.

Until you run out of dirt which is what happened to me but I solved that by digging 2 drainage ditches.
Now I have twice as much dirt as I had when I first got my bx23 and that was a bunch..

The power steering circuit is the best way to bleed the hydraulic circuit. Turn the wheel a few times all the way to the left and right. This effectively bleeds the system.
Always change the oil when you change the filters.

Doesn't changing the transmission fluid also change the powering steering fluid?
Is their a PS Filter in addition to the Trans. filter?

Is the B 7800 the only with 2 trans filters?

Well the problem I had before with the lights was due to corrosion on the fuse for the headlights. That created resistance and melted the fuse and fuse block. <br>

Now that it's up and running, does anyone here have rear work light mounted on their 855 or similar? I didn't know if the light splices into the fender headlight or does it run all the way back to the switch? I believe the work light comes on with the headlights but not sure. It's getting pretty dark early around here and I am still out there working away.<br>
