Well that is what I thought but I had a guy tell me his 8N worked better on gear oil, maybe it was just wore out or maybe the piston type transmission pump likes the thick stuff. Thanks for the confirmation. I know there are three fill and drain plugs (trans, hydraulic and rear diff) to these stay separate or will the oil pass from one compartment to the other. I didn't look while we had the covers off...

I have a L3130 with 2wd. Would not consider purchasing a 4wd
cause, you really don't need one. Mine came with those larger front tires than what is advertised.
I love on 365+ acres of timberland in south mississippi and
there is plenty of places to get stuck....but common sense
tells me where NOT to go.
Got this little gem this March 31st and now have 95 hrs.
The price was 11 grand and 5 year no interest, delivered.

How about making one from 1/4" deck plate? I checked out my
l3130 and there is quiet a lot of room for which to attach one. I have made a "brush guard" from 3/8" plate and 1 1/2"
xxh pipe between the plates. Had a mch shp break the metal.
Welded some 1-3/4" open expanded metal and attached it to the frame. If you can obtain/have a product brochure, there is a bursh guard that resembles mine. I notice that this keeps anything from really getting under the tractor.

I think injectors and glow plugs are fairly generic. If you need new ones I'd take the parts to a good diesel shop. I believe there's a fair chance they could identify them and come up with commonly available equivalents.

The Kodiak was a private label Shenniu sold by a company in Apple Valley California. If is a fiberglass hood model the design was from Masters in Florida

I use 0w-30 Mobil 1 in winter and 10w-30 in summer (mobil 1)
on my 4100 and Cub 3204
..the 0w is great in the cold winter, real quick starts...

I was looking for R1 tires for my X595. It uses the same tires and wheels as the 2210. I am using Titan/Carlisle Tru-Power Cat#'s 4233U1 front (18x8.50-10) and 423361 rear (26x12.00-12). If you look up the JD 2210 spec sheet it lists the R1 tires as standard and R3 and R4 tires are optional.

Yooper asked about the rifle's condition. The wood is well used. It has plenty of dings in it. It's kind of neat in that someone with the same initials as me carved them into the stock. I would call the wood condition "good." The steel looks really good. I would call it excellent There is no rust under the handguard or anywhere else. The bore is bright but probably a bit worn. I get about 4" groups at 100 yds. I wish the precision was a bit better. The only bullets I could find were pretty light at 150 grains. I will try a heavier bullet to see if that helps but I'm not expecting alot of improvement. We'll see.

Cap'n, why not just get some local sheet-metal shop to make you up a manifold and heat exchanger for the kerosene heater you already have?

It doesn't have to be perfect or pretty, just enough to enclose and trap most of the CO & smell and send it back outside.

Does your 3pt lift function at all? Many times if some contamination has passed the filter screen, it will land itself on the proportioning valve poppet and basically reduce the ability to close off when directed to. This valve is located beneath the seat frame, on right side as one sits on seat. Small matter to disassemble and clean out.

This should be a 'Be mindful' type warning to many. As we change our fluids, use a paint strainer or the like as we pour into the tractor's reservoir for refill. The first time I decided NOT to, I ended up with a boatload of small white plastic fragments from the five gallon pail in the system. Guess where it ended up...in and stuck on the 3pt proportioning valve poppets!

Kubotas insurance was 139 per year for my BX 23.
I added a ryder to my home owners policy instead for 80 bucks a year.
Coverage is on and off road.
