Sounds like more crap is going in than is being digested. Could be somebody using too much bleach, drain cleaner of cooking fat etc. Some agency in your area probably publishes a 'Care of Septic Systems' pamphlet. It might be good to find something and hand them out to your tenants.

Most 3ph hoes will fit on any 3ph of the same class provided the lower link arms spread wide enough, which shouldn't be an issue on most compacts. You'll also need rear hydraulics and adequate flow from the pump. A 3ph-hoe mount should have a lock-down to prevent accidental raising of the 3ph--anybody in the hoe seat gets crushed between the hoe console and ROPS. Some mounts help distribute the load.

You should search the archives for articles about the possibility serious damage to tractors from use of 3ph hoes. Mine is OK; others suffer thousands in damage.

I have a Frontier 1060 (60") rear discharge grooming mower for my JD 790. It does a good job and is easy to use once you get the feel for it. Just as the wings "grow" when taxiing in a turn in an airplane, the mower "grows longer" in a turn. As you gain experience and get braver you will be able to mow very close to obstacles that wives insist on placing in your path. I have not knocked down the house or mowed down any of her plants yet so it must be pretty easy to use.

35W, or just about double the load of the original 18W lamps- 2.9A per lamp, basically. I don't think it'll cause the alternator much grief.

I used cast couplers between the sections, and a drive coupler on the top to hit. I would take it off and replace it with a cast coupler, put on the next section and put the drive coupler on the top. At the end the coupler was beat to "heck."

BTW: I used regular teflon tape without problem. Trick I found was to keep twisting the entire well while diving every few (10-15) hits. Here's where that 24" pipe wrench comes in handy.

Although there are some different "tweeks" in the design of hydrostatic transmissions, they all behave the same way due to the mature of the fluid pressure. The fluid in a hydro is in a closed loop, so as the tractor goes down a hill, the speed of the drive is controlled by the pressure build up in the transmission. The hydraulic motor tries to work against the pump, controlling the forward speed. The tractor won't move when the pedal is released because the motor tries pump fluid against the pump.

The quickest way to damage a hydrostatic trans is to try to tow the tractor in gear. The pressure build up from the pumping motor could "blow up" the trans., unless the pressure relief saves it.

Can I run this off my 3rd SCV? If so, where should I look for a cylinder set-up for this?

Thanks for the input, I have sighned up with them as a dealer and I now have some on my lot now,It's tough doing research on a newer distribution company, Ended up calling some of their existing dealers for feedback, The tractors are good overall. Very impressed with the cab model

cgaddis: I'm sorry I goofed on the price I looked at the wrong place. I checked machinerylink.com and they price the LK3504 1999 model $10500.00 =fair to $12000.00= excellent for the tractor so add a FEL and I guess its your call. Best of luck.

I'm looking at the possiblity of selling my 4400 HST. I completed the work that I need to do with it and could use the storage space. I know what was originally paid for it in 1999, but I'm not sure what the used price should be. It's a 4400 HST 4wd with 450 hours. It has the 430 loader, 47 backhoe, second and third scv's, 60" mid mount mower, 550 tiller, 45 rear blade, LX513 rotary cutter, and a quick hitch. <br>

Also, would it be better to sell it as a package or sell some of the implements on their own.<br>

I won't have a chance to look at it until Friday, when it should be ready. The dealer told me he'd save the parts for me to look at (he is kind of a gearhead).

What surprised me was the 15000 service interval. I didn't think anybody ever changed the oil in differentials unless they were off-roading and thought it might be contaminated.

The rear is 9-1/4", which is the same as the traditional Chrysler rear. Don't know if it is the same unit, or just the same diameter ring gear.
