I'm interested in the way you mounted the lights on your ROPS. Facing forward, do you find the lights bother you - glare, brightness, turning your head, etc? I have a fiberglass cap and was thinking of mounting forward-facing lights from underneath the cap and rearward-facing on the ROPS. Your setup looks simpler but I wonder if the glare from lights behind me would be too much.

I was very interested in the easy change system until I learned it is really not compatible with top n' tilt.

As Ken pointed out, you may have to change out some of your PTO shafts if there is not an extra 4-5 inches of stretch in them.

I am looking for unique ideas for building a log splitter. Any problems run into. I do not have the luxury of tiny trees where a 4 or 6 way wedge will work. Logs are tipically 18-30" in diameter. Knots, bends, nothing is wasted. I use approx 35,000 pounds of wood per year. I have no interest in the monkey see, monkey do log splitters that people build for a reason I don't understand. Why would I want to lift a 120+ pound log onto the I-beam to have it pushed off the end in two 60+ pound pieces that I have to pick up again. I want the wedge on the ram with a log lift. One half will fall back on the lift while I work on the other. As each small piece is split off it won't move down the beam, I'll grab it and throw it in pile, wagon, truck etc. My feet will be nearly stationary and my back won't bend continuously to the ground. I have the beam, a 5"x24" cylinder, 22gpm two stage pump, valve, filter. I have considered hydraulically self propelling it on a front axle of a suzuki sameri where I could unlock the hubs to tow on the road. Any ideas, or failed ideas would be appreciated. I don't know a damn thing about them but it better be able to as well as I can with a 16# mall or forget it! And I barely was able to do it!!
Somehow it just doesn't equate but I could and often am wrong LOL...

On machine finder's website, there's a dealer in my area, Georgia, that has tires/wheels at 1/2 price.

Machine finder list items by zip code (closest 1st) so you could at least check your area.

You need a relay wired in between the ignition switch & the starter ted at abbeywoods told me about it
I have had NO problem in 2 yrs since I installed the relay & I had the exact same problem you are experiencing.
He told me there was a recall but Cub supposedly knows about it even though the dealer sold me the relay

My old deere 790 rear tires were foam filled. I paid $200 per tire. It felt more solid on slops then when I had the calcium in them. I didnt mind the ride. It was definetly less boucey but haelped drastically on the slopes. I am aiming to foam fill my new kubota rear asap, I just need to find the time to lay the tractor up for a day. Any truck tire garage that deals with large trucks or machinery can foam them. Your dealer should be able to recommend someone in your area.

Unfortunately with most tractors, if the loader works OK then screens and filters aren't the answer. Some JD's do have a screen in the pressure line that could cause a similar problem but I don't know about this tractor. Sometimes a loader valve that isn't centered will cause the 3ph to stop working but the problem sounds more like a 3ph valve problem. Changing the filter and oil still is a good idea. More on 3ph valves later perhaps.

I agree with tractor 123 on the 7308 loader as that is what I have on my 33D but a friend of mine just bought a Woods for his Ford/NH at his NH dealer and he loves it plus it's painted blue to match the tractor.

Thanks! I figure it is a pretty cheap experiment. The square PVC post was less then $10 at lowes, add some paint and a block of wood for the base and bolts and it's done. No drilling on the tractor and easy to remove if it breaks.

The B4672 Backhoe is also speced for the 7500. Specs say it has a digging depth of 6'6", but 6 feet is probably closer in real life. Expect to pay around $6k.

Officer 2: One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner.
Older Woman: Murdered the owner?
Officer 2: Yes, could you please open the trunk of your car, please.

The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.

Officer 2: Is this your car, ma'am?
Older Woman: Yes, here are the registration papers.

The officer is quite stunned.

Officer 2: One of my officers claims that you do not have a driving license.

The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a clutch purse and hands it to the officer.

The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.

Officer 2: Thank you ma'am, one of my officers told me you didn't have a license, that you stole this car, and that you murdered and hacked up the owner.
Older Woman: Bet the liar told you I was speeding, too.

Just a couple of thoughts. I bought a used 1998 12" Bearcat chipper with around 800 hours on it for ~$9k. After we get a few of years use out of it I should be able to sell it for a goodly percentage of that, which makes for cheap chipping. Also, here in Oregon they give 35% tax credits for chipper purchases to encourage chipping instead of burning. You might check to see if a program like that is available in your area. Good luck!

Got my bx back together,4x4 works great but stiil had the weird grinding/creaking noise,only in 4x4, quiet in 2wd,turned out to be the front axle pivot point! I lubed the bolt that goes through the axle housing and retorqued to 15lbs,per factory shop manuel ,and noise gone!
