I will try to tighten them first, I have only a torque wrench and the torque required is over 400#'s and I am supposed to use a torque multiplier ( I don't have) so I will shoot for 100#'s on the wrench without the multiplier. Also found this morning after talking with the boy that he might of hit some ledge on the back hills, will check that out also.

The machine has ~1530 hours. I purchased it at 1490, and at that time replaced the fluid with the appropriate fluid from Kubota. The linkages actually work very smoothly with the engine off. But when I am driving, and let off the pedal, that is when it "sticks". The pedal itself returns, but it feels like the little roller on the transmission stays in place, so I tap the reverse pedal to ease the roller back. Another interesting thing that leads me to think "internal" - if I push the zero turn pedal when it is acting sticky, that will also help it into neutral. I will however re-check all the linkages based on your recommendation.

Some people use utility trailers. Receiver mounts for 3ph's are available. There are some issues with these things like a limiting chain for the 3ph and long stopping distances going down hill with big loads, but people who use them on their tractors seem pretty happy with the results. Of course, they also can use them on their trucks.

I have customers running the BX on up to ten acres and enjoying it. They are capable of going into the woods as many of the larger TLB's with lower subframes are the same height as the BX23's off the ground. It takes horsepower to move weight so are you going to be doing a lot of land clearing or just maintanence on the property? Compaction is a problem with most lawns with all types of soil so the lighter you are the better the end results!

You have a switch, relay and clutch, hot wire the clutch, that will answer tell you if that is good. The relays do go bad from time to time to.

Most people in our area without cabs wear snowmobile suits and helmets if they have any amount of snow to move. That is for front or rear snowblower without a cab. I used to think the loader and rear mount blower was the only way to go for messing with the plowed banks. The front blower does them just fine and visibility at the street is better then ever because you are not adding to the banks.

I have several pieces of old equipment I move on the road not counting my wagons.

The TS stuff always looked so cheezy I never bothered with them and have tolerated the wagon shock loads on the tow vehicle. Actually I haven't looked for anything to solve it for years.

Women are not all evil, but I agree you don't need a woman in your life at the moment. Sounds like you got an awful lot of crap to deal with. It's far more important you get things sorted out. It's pretty much impossible to find happiness with another person till you're able to find happiness alone.

As for not having the time for a shrink, in my opinion I think you should reconsider. That's like saying you don't have the time to take proper care of yourself. Your emotional well-being is far more important than missing an hour of work here or there. Money is worthless if you're unable to be happy.

Hang in there! Sounds like you're doing a good job managing the problems you've been having. Don't fall into the trap where you're spending time trying to figure out what person to blame most for your unhappiness. These things don't matter. You can't change the past or the fact some people may have treated you crappy before. Focus on what you CAN change.

And as you get older I think you'll find things will get easier. What's really important in life becomes more clear, and the little stuff won't bug you so much anymore.

Deere's latest recommended lubricant for the 3 point moving parts is Super Lube. It comes in a spray can.

Important safety tip:
Make sure the tractor you're pulling a cart or trailer with will handle the weight of the trailer and the load.
Also be extra careful on wet grassy slopes and other slick surfaces.

I was hauling dirt on a trailer with a lawn tractor. I was about fifteen to 20 feet from the road on a DRY concrete driveway headed slightly up hill when the tractor lost traction.
Next thing I knew the trailer was dragging the tractor backwards down the drive headed straight out into the highway. I Had the tractor brakes locked on tight the trailer just kept dragging the tractor anyway. You should have heard the tires squealing on the wheels of the tractor.'
As luck would have it there was a pretty good v dip where the edge of the road met the end of the driveway. When the trailer wheels hit this v dip it stopped the trailer.
If it hadn't been for that dip I would have been drug out onto the highway and could have gotten ran over by traffic.

I checked it out and compared it to the Kubota Bx23.
The Simplicity legacy is a really nice garden tractor but if you want to move out of the garden tractor league into a sub compact tractor go with the Kabuto BX 23 like I did.

Just signed up tonight. Getting all kinds of info from the site. Question I have, it seems there are mulching kits for the 60" mower that comes with the bx2200? Or is it best to go with mulching blades if you can find them. I looked at the Oregon site, it seems blades for my mower doesn't come in the mulching option. Only 60" front connect mowers have a mulching blade replacement. If I was reading it wrong, let me know. Thanks

I have a bx2200, used FEL for last 2 years. Works great. I have about a 100 ft drive, plus I clean my 88 year old neighbor's drive also. I do have a blade on the rear to use also.

BX for snow removal use your FEL or a blower
