I suggest you do this service yourself. With an attitude like that; I would not trust the dealer to do the service by the book and do their best to do it right.

I have been looking into the TC 40 DA and a Kubota L3830 both with FEL, quick detach HD bucket. I had pretty much settled on the Kubota. One of my dealers today called and has a 2004 TC 40 DA on rent to a farmer that is due to come in mid September. He states that they are using the tractor to pull tabacoo wagon. He is estimating it will have around 175 hours on the machine and any body blemishes will be taken care of along with any touch up painting required, also they would pull all the maintenance on the unit. The unit has only been out a couple of months and will carry the same original warranty and they will add the 16la loader quick detach and hd loader for $18,000.00. Does anyone have a feel for this pricing? <br>

maybe you and petushead should trade tractors. he hate his dads kubota. they all have problems sometimes, those gaskets were probally bought from an outside supplier that is now outsoursing to china. that's what warrenties are for,their mistakes.

that is only 1130 mile from me. I should be able to do that in about an hour. lol I can defiantly do it in a day. I drove strait thru from Pa to south Florida with no problem and that was about 1300 miles.

Well you were right Triple D Equipment & Slade are great people to deal with. They have fair prices and know their equipment. If the hurricane will stay away the tractor should be here next tuesday.

Please stick around. There is allot of info to be gained here. Most of us here hate the spam posts are are trying to eliminate them. I work for a dealer but you will hardly ever see me even mention the name or location of the dealer unless i am directly asked to do so. With all of us together we have an IQ of about 1,000,000. I have a b7500 with backhoe and love it. I really debated buying it at the time (almost 6k more) but I am glad I did. It comes in very handy.

I have not taken it off yet. I'm interested in the 15 minutes someone suggested...I'll have to give it a try.

The hydraulics quit working on this tractor. I drained the fluid and cleaned out the filter. It needed to be cleaned. The fluid has about 200 hours on it. while the fluid was draining some pieces of o-ring came out of the drain hole. I cleaned the filter and refilled the trans but cleaning the filter didn't correct the problem. What could be the problem and how difficult would it be to fix this problem.<br>

Thanks for the reply. Glad we could clear up that little misunderstanding. I've always had trouble when I first meet people trying to figure out their meaning. Sarcasm can be a lot of fun and I'm always game for a good needle. Like I said it's just hard to get the whole meaning with only words on a page.

$I have a B7500 and used the FEL this past year to clear the driveway - it worked okay, but not great. It seems to me it would work a lot better with a simple modification.... 1. one idea is to just clamp some wings on the side that allow the fel to push more snow without it spilling over the sides. 2. strap some kind of a plow on the fel that is angled. 3. strap a larger bucket on. Around here, the large parking lots (at malls and stuff) are cleared by large loaders that have snow buckets chained right onto the fel (anyone ever seen that?). Seems to me the same thing could be done on a tractor fel. Sure, it will reduce your lift capacity, but it is just snow and already weights a fraction of what gravel would way. Has anyone seen these kinds of mods used to move snow?$ BX for snow removal use your FEL or a blower
