Teeth will do wonders at helping you dig with a FEL. I had a set on a Deere 725 loader on a heavy farm tractor, they sure would dig but as said above they'll tear the lawn and driveway to shreds pushing snow. The ones I had were easy to remove, just one bolt per tooth so it wasn't much of a job to change them. Frank.

Try to get a parts book for it, even it costs a couple hundred dollars. My biggest headache in supplying parts is not having a parts book. With out a parts book or part #s, I have to contact Japan & try to explain what part is needed. Sometimes this can be very difficult. If this the model with the electric over hydraulic controls, it is even more important to obtain a parts book. If the electic control box goes bad , it is hard to get any info out of Japan.

I looked into 4330 but the price sky rocketed out of my budget, also I have looked at the Kioti dk40 and 45 but I have been burnt trying to resale what you might say not one of the chosen 3, so I am a little skeptical . I'm trying not to spend over 20k less if possible. Any help on dealers that provide good services and pricing would be appreciated. I'm hoping with the 4 wd drive I am going to see a big difference.

The pricing spread seems to be a little above $1000.00 from the 3130 the 3430. But as for the 3430 to 3830 there is a much greater sprread.

Does anyone know how interchangable Kubota mower decks are? The dealer out here "isn't sure". I have a bx2200 and see used decks for sale on the internet and was wondering if they were pretty much close or if they make several different decks. Will a deck from a "B" fit a BX?

I took delivery of my 2210 two weeks ago. I LOVE the thing! Last weekend I swapped the rear blade I bought for a Box Blade! What a difference. I wanted to cut in a trail in the woods and the BB cut through roots and popped up rock easily. I can't wait for my FEL to arrive later this week. The 2210 has been everything I had hoped for. Bellaterra - that is really intersting. I have transplanted many, many 8' - 10' trees before but never tried that. i will try it next time. I any lost 1 tree out of over 50 I have trasplanted but I will try your methol next time.

If the foundation is low I would strongly suggest you invest a little time, effort and money on redirecting any water that might get close to the house.

Build a swale, berm, or french drain so that even if water does approach the house it will (hopefully) drain before it can build up to a critical point.

Clear gravel is the best thing to prevent erosion, even a relatively thin layer of it will slow down water and trap sediment and fines.

You may also want to look at using some siltation barrier fabric, if you lay it under the top layer of road bed to protect it from erosion, or run it alongside so that if it washes out it won't go far and can be easily repaired.

Eventually you should look into changing the foundation. Around here it's pretty cheap (relatively speaking) to raise a house. They jack it straight up, make an extension on the foundation, then set the house back down on the new, higher foundation. I doubt it would cost as much to do that as a flood or two would cost in repairs and restoration.

I wonder if they could squeeze some of the grease out of pizza and use that too.

Hey, I got an idea, Wildman could get oil from a restaurant for his boat, then it would smell like fish & chips BEFORE he went fishing!!! That's efficiency..... LOL.

Just an add-on to Beagle's comment about storing hydraulic cylinders. Any hydraulic implement should be stored in the "resting" position. Often this also happens to be in the "retracted" position. Hydraulic implements can move through let down after the engine is turned off. Any large moving object (even if moving slowly) can cause damage or injury if it moves in storage. Retainer pins/bolts should be reinserted once parked etc. I recall the story of a farm dog sleeping in a wooden box infront of which the FEL from a parked tractor slowly (and silently) dropped. Once resting the FEL just blocked the exit and the dog was trapped - dying in the heat of the barn in days following. Point is they dont have to be dramatic to be deadly. Had the FEL been lowered to "resting" the dog could not have entered the box.
