the lock downs). I corrected the mounting and adjustment.
It wasn't exactly the driver's job to know about these things, but it is my job.
Yes, my hitch did activate unexpectedly, although I was operating the loader at
the time. Thanks to Steve's comments all that happened was that the pump and
engine laboured for a few seconds.
Despite Steve's comments, I fell into a bad habit. I tend to reposition the
hoe during maintenance while standing on the ground and operating the tractor hydrolics with one hand and the hoe with the other. Pull a wrong
lever and the stabilizer comes down on your foot. Think I'll stop doing this.
