For smoothing fresh pit run with my scraper I extend the top-link and give the 3ph plenty of float. That way the scraper follows the ground contour and the blade doesn't dig in and cut new washboard as the front wheels go over bumps. If the top-link adjustment is good, the scraper will pick up some material and and distribute it into minor dips that are less than the scraper width. It also compacts the pit run a bit but I usually back-drag with a fairly flat loader bucket while holding some down-pressure for final compacting.

I get the surface smooth enough to suit me this way without resorting to a drag. However, what works for pit run may not work well for loose gravel that doesn't compact.

You probably know better than I that most 3ph's in draft control mode are either fully up or fully down unless an implement is working.

If the hitch lowers at normal speed the flow control valve probably isn't the problem although it should turn without need of a pliers. Maybe there's a packing nut that's overly tight.

It might be a linkage adjustment problem. There are cams and pins in draft control linkages that become worn, and usually there's a way to adjust the lowering spool. Testing and adjustment procedures are given in my repair manual, but adjustment procedures for neither position or draft control adjustments are mentioned in the owner's manual. You do need a manual but part of the linkage probably can be disconnected so the lowering spool could be operated manually to see if an adjustment is likely to cure the problem.

I didn�t buy into the super UDT thing so I went with the premium Amsoil stuff, it was OK. Then I just changed to the Super UDT - What a difference, it runs like a different tractor ( L4310).
The tranny Hydro, shifts sooo much smoother, and all around the stuff is great

Pardon me for saying so but if your Tractor is still under warranty you might be money ahead to return to your dealer and let them install their brand with the kit made to match your Tractor...

On my TC 30 there is a data plate on the engine. It should tell you what model year the engine was certified for.

I am interested in purchasing a low to medium priced<br>
fel for my new 3430 HST with cab-also have it set up<br>
for a front 62 inch snowblower. It will not be used much<br>
because I have another tractor that I would be doing the<br>
majority of fel work. It would be handy though in the<br>
summer, obviously I am not going to leave the snowblower<br>
on in the summer. Any info would be appreciated. I have<br>
no idea if other manufacturers fels would fit or not.<br>

Yup same Valmet Company of Finland. First tractors were built in the armory,used cannon barels for tranny cases. Now called Valtra and owned by AGCO.

I think that I have finally found a tractor at a price that I could afford without going non-major brand. I first priced out an MF 1433 synchro shuttle with R4's and 1466 FEL and it came in at $20,000 plus 6% tax for $21,200 - kind of disappointing. I then drove about 10 miles to the Agco dealer who quoted the same tractor (Agco ST35 & Agco SL46 loader)at $18,400 with zero tax. Now, Pennsylvania exempts farmers from sales tax and I never concealed the fact that I was just a hobby farmer with 15 acres. The Agco dealer (I am not going to mention his name and get him in trouble) said "you look like a farmer to me". He also offered to upgrade me to the turbocharged 40 HP ST 40 for another $200.<br>

best price I have seen on the mx5000 with 853 hd loader r4 tires was $21400 . the 853 loader is worth the extra money hope this helps.
