My manual is for the 4110 & 4115, so I dropped by my dealer and checked both models out. The 4110 does not have the cruise control and parking brake fittings whereas the 4115 does.

I am truly sorry to hear of your problems, I would hate for you to be tainted towards New Holland, due to a lousy dealer, but I know the feeling. I think I have some infor on New Holland Customer service and dealer feed back. I will see if I can find it and get it back to you.
It makes you wonder how someone like that can stay in business. Or how long he has been in business.

I have made up my mind to buy the 4110 and I would like to have some information on EZ Weight adapters that allow use of the Lifting weights instead of the regular wheel weights.<br>

Are these worth the time or would it be better to use regular wheel weights, it seems there is quite a savings by using the EZ's. I don't have my tractor yet but I would to know what size to order,should I decide to go that way.I have read pro and con on them. I heard Terry might Quit making them! <br>

Broken,your idea on spacing sacaifiers will do well I'm sure, The criss crossing seemed to break clogs up better and it seemed to take a little less disking. And yes the more angle you run on your disk the more aggressive your cutting will be.

You know..........I just DON'T buy this "bussiness" about "if you don't buy from a local dealer, expect to not get the same kind of service and support that local buyers get". What if the tractor owner is a military man and has been reasigned to an area where he did not purchase the machine? Or a long time owner who has moved due to employment or other reasons? Are you telling me that he or she can expect to get the "slim pickin's" when it comes to warranty work or support????? If this is that case, then the local dealer is not worthy of buying from in the first place. If the machine is the right color and qualifies warranty wise; it is the dealer's duty to perform the work AND extend the SAME consideration to them and ALL customers who walk through the door. PERIOD! If this is not the case, that dealer will surely NOT get my future business and more than likely gain my undivided attention with respect to making the machine manufacturer's headquarters rep. aware of the situation. My first choice it to always buy from the local guy but sometimes they don't have what I want or refuse to be reasonable with their pricing. As long as they have the franchise of the manufacturer, they are REQUIRED to perform the warranty work and provide support. OK, the soap box is thrown out the window now. ;o)

To those out there who installed the shims on the JD 790's did the dealership say anything about the effect this would have on the warranty. I sp/w JD corp today and was told that if you put a JD part on the tractor that it shouldn't void the warranty. I still have 1 year left on warranty and don't want to void it. <br>

Was also told that if you have the dealership do the servicing and they differ from the "suggested" intervals, fluid in the book that it doesn't effect warranty either as they may know what works better in particular area and local dealership has the say so to do that. <br>

Yes I did say that New Holland recommends either the 10 amp or the 8.5 amp depending on what is available we install the 8.5 amp. We do acquire them locally it is a lot cheaper to do it that way then pay for shipping. Yes It should have been covered under the warranty at no cost. There is no campaign on this issue which is where we go and fix or modify every single unit there is how ever a service bulletin to fix or repair as needed. Our store by it self has at leased 2500 units sold with maybe 3 to 8 that needed the breaker. It is not a wide spread problem and the conditions have to be perfect for the fuse to pop which I have already explained those circumstances.

You need to rent my dog (85 lb. female yellow lab). She goes 24 hours between outings and can burn a spot 12 inches in diameter each time that won't regrow for about a year. All you have to do is dribble a drop or so of another dog's urine at each fencepost.

Not sure about Deere, but Kubota service manuals are available from a dealer for I think about $65. Haven't found a source other than the dealers yet. Try your dealer.

A very good point Billy, mine is stored in a sealed drum at the opposite end of the shop from the furnace, and where I do my welding, etc., and I check it regularly for any signs of leakage, spillage or fumes.

Diesel fumes, especially in still air like indoors, can be a real threat, they are heavier than air and will creep along the floor. If they build up to a concentration that will support combustion and there is a source of ignition say good-bye to that building.

Check out the Johne Deere website. They recently posted information on the new 4020 series tractors. Actually my grandfather just purchased the 4320. 48hp turbo and please note that these are not Yanmar diesels anymore.
