It will work if you tractor has the required GPM flow and pressure. It will still work if these dont meet the requirements of the splitter it just may be a little slow on the return.<br>

replaced injection pump and can't get it in time..it is a 1994 3 clynider...anyone have a guide as how to time?....thanks

I can get my equipment on in just a few minutes. The most difficult piece was the ballast box. It managed to sink to the mud with all the rain we've had.

I have found that when you detach an implement you should select a level, hard surface, and also make certain the implement is straight behind the tractor, not swaying at all. Makes for getting it off much easier.

I hook up both link arms first, and then the top link, pto.

If the implement has sunk hook up the left hand side of the tractor [left, if your sittin on it], first. This arm can't be adjusted other than up and down with the 3ph control.
Once you have the left on connect the right hand arm. This arm has an adjustable vertical link, so if the implement pin is lower than the left side it is easy to adjust and lower. Same goes with the horizontal adjustments.

If you center up to the implement you'll be fine.
If you had to adjust the horizontal sway be sure to raise the implement up slowly and once to the top of is travel push it to the left and right to make sure I doesn't sway too much and clip your tires.

There are differences. The biggest danger spaghetti noodles pose is the danger of collateral sauce splatter, whereas if you get a blackberry vine wrapped around a leg you're pretty much gonna get dragged into the chipper. Those vines are strong and the barbs grab clothes quite easily! If anyone does this be sure to stay a good distance away from the moving vines.

DRankin - Hope all is well and you and yours are no longer in danger from the wildfires. Been following this issue and since I have various grades of incline/declines on my property I have decided to put some added weight on the rear axle for safety and traction. I will be ordering the EZ system also and have already purchased (8) 25# plates from Wal-mart. I thought I would go with 100# on each wheel for now and my JD dealer recommended no more than 120# on each wheel. If needed I will add a fifth 25# on each wheel. I have 16.5" wheels as do you, my question is on the EZ system. Is the threaded rod and hardware stainless or standard steel?

Thanks, pretty much what I thought, but the dipstick reading is somewhat ambiguous depending on the position of hydraulic components when it's checked. Draining seems like the right thing to do.

The power to weight ratio is better on the 2910. The 4110 is a 20hp tractor weighing 1510lbs. The 2910 is a 30hp tractor weighing 1741lbs. The 2910 is also rated about 500lbs higher on it's 3-point capacity. Both are nice machines. Test them both, make sure you are comfortable with all the features. You may also want to look at the Hew Holland Boomer series and the new Kioti CK series. Good luck.

The right front wheel assembly has been broke off or I should say broken in two between the differential and the wheel assembly... The axle housing was ripped in half... Not sure how that happened since I had loaned the tractor out to a family member. I would like to replace the entire front drive system if I can find one.

You might be better off using a 55 gallon steel drum and filling it with 35 gal. They are cheaper, all have the standard 2" bung which most fuel pumps carry fittings for, and they all have a secondary 3/4 NPT fitting which can be used to fit a vent cap (opposite the 2" bung on a 55 gal tighthead). Most of the time you can pick up 55 gal drums for free if you know someone with a business that uses them. My company buys pure vitamin E oil in them and I have 2 of those now filled with off road diesel. Depending on where you live most states do not require registration to buy dyed diesel, just don't get caught with it in your pickup. Good luck.

I find the pressure put out by the roller pump is really handy for spraying shrubs abd trees. With the right wand and spraying nozzle, I can spray about 50 feet with good volume without a problem. It depends on what your needs are, like anything else.

Wheel weights on the front wheels will do little or nothing for stability (remember the axle pivots anyway) and they will increase wear and tear on steering components.

Front weights should be in the form of suitcase weights, as mentioned above, mounted on a bumper bracket, or in the form of a FEL. My 410 front end loader on the 4115 weighs 780 pounds, empty.

I just bought a Kubota L3400DT with FEL, shredder, box blade and trailer with new tires. I paid $17K for the whole thing. I felt it was a good price. The JD790 was too tight and cramped when I sat in the seat. The price I was quoted from JD was about the same as what you were quoted. The Kobota just felt better to me. I also had a L2650 Kubota for 10 years with no problems so that swayed me a bit also.

The best part to remember, soon you will be getting seat time on a nice tractor either way you go.

Agreed. One of the things you can't see is the mechanical shearing that occurs with the oil molecules. This shearing is well documented and as it happens it changes the viscosity of the oil, basically thinning it down.

I suspect that a new transmission, with its sharp surfaces during the break-in period would have a greater propensity to shear/break down the oil. If I am off base here, I guess one of our engineering types will set me in order.

Also... sometimes you will find a break-in thing that is unique to a brand of tractor and you wonder if that manufacturer is being overcautious. Kubota's "no max RPM" for the first 50 hours comes to mind.

But everyone who sells an HST transmission universally says change that oil at 50 hours. I reckon there is a good reason.

Mathew, you need to completely remove anything downstream of the valve except the gauge itself. Whether you include the lines or not is rather moot. <br>

After the gauge is connected start the machine and move the valve until the gauge reads the highest point. Shut down the machine, cycle the valve fully to release any residual pressure, then adjust slowly to increase (or decrease as required) the pressure, then restart and retest, repeat the above steps until the pressure is as per the manufacturers specification. If you do not have a manual contact a dealer, or the manufacturer's tech. dept. directly, they should be able to tell you what the pressure should be.<br>

That little threaded rod merely puts more or less pressure against the back-side of that spring, it in turn holds pressure against a valve, when the pressure behind the valve exceeds the force of the spring holding it shut, it opens releasing the excess pressure.<br>

I am not absolutely sure but I believe the 154 and 184 had this particular design. I would recommend you go with a tractor that utilizes and gear driven pto. In my opinion, you would be better off with an older Kubota L185,L245 etc. or Deere 850, 950, 855, or 955.

A link is shown on the lower left of your screen for Yanmar parts if you want to go mail order. Another method is to take the hoses off and go to your local auto parts store or local radiator repair shop. They should be able to match something up.

There was a time when almost every farmer had a "Brillion" cultipacker. It had cast hollow "V" shaped disks that were about 18-24" in diameter and about 3-4" wide with a few cross braces supporting an inner hub where the shaft went through (about 2 to 2 1/2 diameter). It had cast steel end plates with brass bearing sleeves and a cross-bolt to hold it together. The endplates were connected by 3" angle irons that went full width. A tongue was connected to this at the end plates. Most of the cultipackers in our area were 12' wide.

Is this the type you are building?

Farmers have gone to some newer techniques, since the older cultipackers never had wheels to lift them off. They were very noisy when running them on the road and sometimes left "V" imprints on a hot tarred road.

One of my older cubs (782) has a similar problem where the mower deck start-up switch doesn't always activate. Mine usually will start-up cold but when shut off after warming up it won't restart without a cool down. My neighbor told me it is the points inside the switch. He says it is not difficult to adjust. You need to narrow the gap just slightly.

We have been a Farm Pro dealer for over a year as well as importing other brands of Chinese tractors.
I can tell you that the parts situation continues to improve for all Jinma based tractors, and Farm Pro in particular, as parts inventories are continually being built up along with the number of these tractors in the US.

Of course each parts vendor must forcast which parts will be needed so some unusual parts may not be on the shelf yet. Homier (Farm Pro) has been known to pull parts off of new tractors in a case like this for thier customers. Of course they don't want to do that and will likely stock that part for the future.

Typically we have our Farm Pro parts in hand in two or three days.

Ownership of any Chinese tractor does require the owner to be comfortable with doing minor repairs and maintenance, especially during the first 30 to 60 days. If you purchase from a servicing dealer, this can be minimized and you will have access to technical support and service if needed.

If you purchase without dealer support, you should be willing and capable of doing heavier repairs, possibly even "splitting" the tractor if needed. (This can be done with some jack stands, floor jacks, etc, not that big a deal, but you may wish you had bought from a dealer in the unusual event that that becomes necessary). These are pretty basic machines, that require very few, (if any) special tools to work on. They are supported by a user base quick to share their "been there done that" advice.

Dealers prices tend to be a little more than Homiers road show prices (freight mostly), but the support of a dealer that is there on a permanent basis is well worth the extra money and I think most of my customers would agree.

I will suggest that for your use you might consider the 2425. It is shorter wheelbase and may be a little more manuverable in the woods, and on your lawn finish mowing. Dont underestimate the 25HP capabilities, of course the 30HP has more.

Best bet is check out a local dealer, drive both. While you are there, ask about service after the sale, if the local dealer does not do service, find out where the closest service center is, in most cases it is your responsibility to transport the unit to the service center.

By the way, as people post answers to your inquiry, the ones I would pay most attention to are the ones who tell you which model JInma or Farm Pro they own. I have learned that everyone seems to have an opinion on these tractors, but many have not ever owned, or even looked up close, at one... Of course dealers can be a little biased too.

In addition, fancy expensive volumetrically matched cylinders are used for some applications. I doubt they'd be found on CUT loaders though.
