Stiger is a model of Shibaura. It is not a Ford. I've heard of other people buying Shibauras at auctions labelled as Fords.

A trough drain is the way to go unless you have a way to pipe you drain out side the floor and footing as you stated it freezes and could cause your floor and footing failure. if you rent a concrete saw and cut a trough drain to the exterior that will fix the problem. you can metal grates to cover trough.

TSC sells Traveller hydraulic fluid. I've never used it in my Kubota, but I do use it in other equipment and it says it is comparable to the UDT. It's $25.78 for 5 gallons. As for the filter, I use Kubota filters for warranty purposes.

im a master plumber, ive been in the business for over 30 years. i have run across the older septic problems you have. you can extend your leach fields to get you by but you should consider replacing the tank to code. If it is possible for some one to drive any type of vehicle onto that tank they could end up in it. I have had to remove backhoes from caved in tanks. Not a fun job.

I have an MX5000. You must bring the tractor to a full stop while shifting from 1 to 2, however you do not need to stop while shifting from 2 to 3 or 3 to 4. This holds true for the Low and the High range. I've heard the shuttle referred to as an in-line mechanical shuttle. On the range lever Low and Reverse are in line , so it is easy to move between forward and reverse. The reverse gear is slightly faster than Low. I believe you are still supposed to come to a complete stop while moving between Low and Reverse. To me it is still very easy to perform loader work. One tractor that I looked at was the JD 5105. the 5105 had less HP and was not synchronized in any of the gears but did have a synchronized shuttle. Telescoping links on the 3pt hitch were standard on the Kubota but were an option on the JD. It was also at least a couple grand more than the MX5000. I have been very pleased with the MX5000. I have the 852 loader, a Woods 720 BrushBull, a 6ft blade, a 6ft. disk harrow and a 6ft. chain harrow. There are lots of good tractors out there with lots of different features. The hard thing is to sort out what you "need", what you "want", and what you can live with.

Murf, what does the threaded rod adjustment that you speak of. I'm getting close to 100% strength.

Also, how do you drain the fluid out of the loader hoses for a change.?

I am going to buy on Sat. either the 2210, 4010, 4110 or 4115. the last one is realy out of my budget. I have a small city lot 100x150 and a river camp 3 acres. I use a 455 with bucket now to keep up a 300 ft gravel and mud road after the Mississippi floods us out. I also use the 455 to help me in wood cutting hualing the large chunks to the wood spliter. I need to level out the yard once a year after floods, I aslo help others around thier homes with odd jobs from gravel to landscaping etc. I am leaning to the 4110 because of the true 3 ph and high limits on the hitch and bucket but after reading all the post I am still worried about the 4110 being less horse than the 2210 and my 455. Any help before I blow alot of money I do not want to step up again like I did with the 455. Plus how well will these tractor hebhave in a small yard and hill side. 18der.<br>

I have hooked up equipment to tractors in the past. Have an agri background and have hooked up 3-point equipment to the 7 and 8000 series JD tractors, they weren't half the trouble that I am having hooking up 3-point equipment to the 790. Can not back up and hook the arms on one side, attach the center link and then have the other arm fit on like I have done on bigger tractors. Have to spend 30 minutes, break my back and use a pryer bar to get it to finally attach. Is it me, the tractor or something else that I might need to know about. <br>

I have a JD 790 w/FEL, and R-4 tires. Will be buying a disk, but with the lift capacity of 815 lbs, having trouble finding a strong well built disk within that capacity. Found one built good and heavy for food plot work, made by Ag-Meir its 5 1/2 ft wide and weighs 765 lbs, is this going to strain the tractor and will the R-4 tires pull that disk effectively. Ag-meir also has a 5 ft disk that weighs 540 lbs would this be a better choice. <br>

I am looking for the heaviest disk that I can get away with for the best results, don't want to just scratch the surface.<br>

Are you sure it is a hex plug? I think it should be a 1/2" square. Use your 1/2" ratchet or breaker bar.

What size allen wrench do i need for 5320 JD oil plug

I don't miss the Nevada fires. We just got rid of our couch we had when we lived in Elko. After five years in Indiana, it still smelled like burned sagebrush. Not a good sign when the air tankers are flying over your house.

listen buddy!! why don't you look in the fuse panel of your frickin car and count how many circuit breakers are in there. If you think you can fix it than you find the solution and we will pay you for it. Oh wait we already have the solution the frickin circuit breaker. Oh but they arn't safe you better pull all the breakers out of your house and replace them with fuses then. They are the same thing. They trip under the same condition as a fuse blows but all you do is remove power and it resets, thus you don't have to replace a fuse every time or even get off the seat simply turn of the ignition switch and turn it back on and walla fixed. The same thing happens in your vehicle you just don't know it's happening.
