Greg, I lost something, if you have higher hydr.flow and beefier arms what happened to the increases at the user end? The three point hitch on the deere lifts less than the kubota not that either will lift enough to hurt them and the loader lifts less and does it sloweron the deere. Well from here I guess it gets into efficiency. Why drive these bigger pumps that take horsepower away if you don't or can't use it!

Repairing ruts in tight quarters;What I`ve done in such situations is put the tiller on along with the front-end loader and `till` the rutted area.Sometimes I add top soil left over from putting in a road and then grade it with the front-end loader.The answer may not be `equipment` but a load or two of soil.For me the mounds of soil from a 1300 ft. road has been s godsend over the years.

My Pappy had a high-tech way to align his farm tractors, because most - right from the factory, were way out of alignment. Jack-up the front axle with both tires off the ground. Spin the tire slowly and measure distance from inside edge of one tire to the other towards the front and then towards the back. Adjsut it for about 1/4

I too have a TC29D hydrostat 4WD that spins the wheels in 1st, and just a bit in 2nd. All I have done so far is about 20 hours of loader and box work and it's great. It just runs all day with no problems. It does what I need for it to do, and well.

I spent half that much on a MF 35 (diesel) and a new brush hog (Rhino). 38hp and 3800 lbs and it never hesitates in mowing 18 acres of grass and tall thick weeds. I will be buying a 6' grader (angle) blade soon to maintain my gravel drive. I just about took the plunge on a new compact but for my use I'm glad I didn't. I don't use my tractor for business and I don't need it everyday so I feel financially smarter when it is sitting. I am glad I spent a little more on the new Rhino. It does a nice job.

I found this used 5' B748-A Kubota snowblower and the guy claims it's specifically for the B6100 but it has a pully drive on it and my B6100 has a PTO shaft on the front not a pully. Also the mounting bracket looks like it would have the blower too low to the ground. How are these things mounted and is there some adapter kit I would need to put it on my tractor. Also, with a 2WD B6100HST am I going to be able to move snow with this anyway? I'm on the north shore of Lake Ontario and we get 4

Mark, try driving the two, I don't think that with the loader you can compare the JD shuttle shift to kubota's. The kubota should definitely cost you more due to the resale value but it is far more user freindly, just getting on the two will tell you that! Price is variable but depending on condition mid teens would be a bargin!
