To me thats not overkill! I was thinking along that line.
As in blocks or heavy wall pipe for a frame. I won't even
think about wooden posts they won't last down here.Too much
humidity.As I'm allready seriously into composting.having
several contacts with local farmers w/cows and one rabit farmer, I get plenty of manure to add to the mix of wood chips from my 8hp chipper.And just can't get enough leaves!

I own a 84 or so John Deere 2750 tractor & I would like to know why I have to turn the steering wheel for it to start properly When I try to start it without turning the sterring wheel the motor turns over very slow, This may be a dumb question but I would still like to know.

If you don't need the adjustment of the top link, a piece if 1" x 2-1/2" bar stock can be used as a top link. It doesn't have the ball joints, but for most applications, that won't come into play. Just be carefull that your application doesn't put lateral ooad on the top link socket. If you want the ball joints, they can be bought from TSC and Family Farm and Fleet for a reasonable price and welded on. I believe Northerntool also has weldable ball ends. Another option would be to extend the socket on the quick hitch to meet your stock top link. There's always more options than problems, but remeber that every problem is the result of a solution to a previous problem. have fun.

Look at a 4wd tractor. The differences are awesome. I had a 2wd tractor in the past and now have a 4wd Kubota B7800. I would never go back to 2wd, especially if a FEL is in your plans. The debate over Hydro vs. Gear will rage on. It is a matter of preference and application. For FEL and mowing work, it is really convenient to not have to mess with the gear shifting. Good luck.

The 4210-4710 have a lot more features, which means more complexity, which means more chances of things going wrong. Simplicity has it's advantages.

We have several Kubota ZTR's in the fleet, both 28's and 21-60Pro's.

We also have several bat-wings, they really fly through a lot of grass fast.

I wouldn't agree about hydraulic leaks being inevitable. Maybe if the period of time is measured in decades. The only leakage I see is a few drips when making and breaking connections.

$Small crane, $199 at Northern Tool, best money I ever spent, will pick up anything I don't feel like, easiest way to change tires short of hiring someone else to do it. Really handy for moving implements around. If tires are filled for ballast, foam is a bad choice, it only adds a fraction of what CaCl does. Best of luck.$ checking air pressure
