After getting over the initial sticker shock of $16000 for a TC 33 with FEL I'm about ready to go. I have 40 acres of which about half is mowable, 2.5 acres to mow at my homesite, a couple of lots and various dirt work and construction projects. Last chance, is this the best value for me?

I'm looking at the Deere 2210 and NH TC24DA. The NH seems to be running about $2000 more than the JD for similar equipment (FEL, MMM, SB). Is it a fair comparision between these two tractors or should I be comparing the NH to the 4100 series?<br>

The specs match pretty well but there must be some reason for the price difference. Any thoughts?

I am looking at at early 70's long tractor. I believe it is a super 55. The lift does not work but all else seems to be ok.. Do you know much about this tractor ( h.p. etc) and is there much problem in repairing the lift $$$$$$

Barn store that tractor and the difference in resale value alone will help pay for the barn.

Enjoy your new machine. With a few tweeks, it will be a great machine for you. Make sure you keep the owners manual at the "throne" for a while. The little tricks in the manual will mean years of good trouble free service.

I'm sure this isn't a cure for the system nor would you want to buy one,BUT, an Asko washing machine uses 5.7 gallons of water per load compared to 50 to 55 gallons in a regular washer. In the spin cycle they spin 1200 rpm so when the clothes come out they don't take long in the dryer, saving money. They also only use about a teaspoon of detergent per load. When you first buy one and run your clothes through the first time, they recomend not to use detergent because there will be enough left in your clothes from the old machine to suds the machine right up. They also heat their own water saving money,for whites it heats the water to 210 degrees compared to 120 on a regular machine, so no bleach is needed.They are Swedish made and made to last a long time.

Still getting used to the abrupt PTO engagement, have now broken 2 shear bolts on my rear finishing mower.

Used it to clear a 4 acre scratch wood lot out, did great job with the FEL taking the trees out, and dragging the large trunks with drawbar. Thinking that I may have to get at least the rear tires loaded as traction when dragging wasn't so great.

Think it is my all time favorite tractor for brushhogging pastures though. The power to run the 9 foot hog with a light enough tractor to get into the softer areas with out getting buried are great. (reason not to get tires loaded)

Have to remember not to use the clutch pedal when shuttling in loose traction areas as you will get more tire spin that way than when you just let the ehss do its thing.

I purchased a JM-304 with backhoe and the instructions are lame at best. The manual came as a poor photo copy with pictures that are almost impossible to figure out. Does anyone know of a better source for a manual?

I didn't make myself very clear! The 4 way is the Front Blade Brand new 1100.00 It has the R4 tires and Folding Rops.60"mmm and Front Loader. Heck I have a JD 332 and this 4110 seems like a Decent Tractor, but I know very Little about the 4110! The dealer will sell an extended 3 year warranty for 900.00<br>

No, I have a tc55 with the ehss and it has never jumped in gear. I have about 45 hours on the clock now, so this is not a definitive statement but so far so good.

Hello Iowafun, welcome to the forum!

The only minor problem I've had was when the tilt wheel assembly froze up. The dealer fixed it at the 50 hour service and it's been fine since. No other problems. Originally I had R4 tires, but they performed very poorly in our clay soil. I replaced them with R1s which work much better for my needs, since I don't need to worry about turf damage.

I don't finish mow and we don't have much snow to deal with so I can't really advise you on those issues. We did have 2 feet of snow once and I cleared the driveway easily with the bucket. The 430 loader has been great, strong and easy to remove and install. The loader quick attach makes it easy to swap between a bucket and grapple. I run a medium duty rotary cutter and 3ph chipper (chips up to 6" stuff) and the tractor has plenty of power for both. The 47 backhoe has also made digging out douglas fir stumps a piece of cake.

As far as options, the rear work light might be worthwhile. You also might consider the skid plates that come with the Rental Upgrade Kit. These plates will further protect all the wiring harnesses and hydro filters under the tractor - I drive over stumps and saplings all the time and haven't had a problem, but I'm installing the skid plates anyway for that extra measure of protection.

My wife won't go near it but it's really very easy to operate. The LoadMatch feature is great, prevents stalling when driving into piles of dirt or gravel or driving uphill in the wrong range. The operators station is quite comfortable and routine maintenance is easy to do. I have no complaints and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I've added enough 2910 parts to my 7800 to dub it a 7810. It would be interesting to see how close Kubota comes to my creation if they do come out with a 7810. I may be ahead of the curve on this one.

Didn't see anyone respond to your question. I have allot of cubs stretching out through years but with different model numbers. I'm not sure, but I think it is late 80's. I understand my 1862 & 1864 models are early 90's.

Value depends on hours and condition. If it is 18HP, hydrostat, power steering & lift, in good condition with less than 800 hours then $1,000.00 seems reasonable.

I have a MF Compact tractor (1233)that makes a lot of noise when the clutch is mashed and the PTO is engaged. Is this normal. This tractor only has 156 hrs. on it and has done this since bought new.
