Before I bug the dealer. Does any one else have similar problem. I have a NH TC33D with HST, I have to Strong-arm the lever to get it into range Yes I put the clutch in. I found that if I 'pump' the clutch twice it will shift reasonable easy

The TC29 Now has the 14LA loader and a stonger front axle. this loader is capable of lifting more than the old 7308 on the tc30. Goood luck

I think replaceable blades are one difference. 3ph mount design is another. My dealer turfed one line due to 3ph mount failure in several he sold. I think my scarifiers go 6" - 8" in depth--more or less depending of the box tilt.

Your only option is used for that much money. And any sizable tractor for 10k or less is going to be 10 to 20 years old. But that is not always a bad thing there were some very good tractors made then. Just keep you your eye open and if you have any questions just ask. We are here to help.

Murf we have traded allot of big tractors for little one's or a little one was bought for the "wife". Those little hydro units are very easy to maneuver as you probably already know. All of our "wife" users seem to do very well on these units. Good luck with your dilemma.

Never heard of the bx ringing. but your dealer needs to train its people to set up its tractors correctly. there is no reason the mid shaft should come off except for negligence that could have been very destructive and dangerous. Those things spin at about 2000 rpm.

Bought the box scraper yesterday, before it went off sale price. Got it as far as assembled and into the garage before the monsoons started again! I have a job for it next weekedn so we'll see how she runs.

Other than fairly poor paint quality (scraped and chipped from living in a discount farm store yard) it looks okay. Nothing fancy, but functional, and that's all I need. I'll get a picture up later.

As a nh tech you do not have to remove the head liner. the roof it self is hinged.

All I'll say is to drive from NY to NC is not very smart. I am located in PA and can always meet or beet there price. Now what are you going to do when you need warranty work done. More than likely your local dealer will blow you off. Any way good luck you'll probably need it.

Depending on the dealer quote, this is around $2-4K below new price as equipped. the Landtrac (as it was called in 2001) 360DTC is a heck of a lot more tractor than a TC-30 as it is a fully featured machine with 12x12 synchro shuttle trans (even the three ranges are synchornized for easy shifting) two remotes , folding rops, 39HP 4 cylinder Mitsubishi engine, fully independent PTO, etc. OF course with a new one you can get 0 percent or low rate financing up to 84 months and the new Farmtracs have a 36 month powertrain warranty as standard also, but the ad did say "or offer". These are a pleasure to operate, tight turning radius, easy shifting, PTO at the flick of a switch, quick starting. I guess I should disclose that I'm a Farmtrac (Long) dealer, perhaps some users will also chime in here.

I got a chance to buy a JD Compact,and the guy still owes money on the Tractor! If I pay him for the Tractor and he doesn't pay JD would I be responsible to pay off the debt should he default?<br>

brokenarrow, As I said, I have it on my york rake with a total weight of 313 lbs. I had no problems with skipping or jumping, maybe over a large rock or two. A reason for the good digging maybe the fairly aggressive angle? I am glad I have it as an attachment for the rake, it was kind of expensive ($250.00??) but worth it when you can't get a bite with with the rake teeth, and need to loosen it up first. I don't know how much the Land Pride costs, but in my mind I still can't justify the single job it does. If I needed something for just a small job I might build something like a single or double tooth ripper, or maybe just shoot the whole load and buy a rear tiller! Mike.

You have water in the hydraulic oil. If the tractor was left out side you may get water in a broken shift boot cover. Your tractor should take tractor hydraulic fluid. You should be able to get this any where. You should not need to prime the system at all. You may want to drain it again after about 50 hours to get the rest of the milk out of it. You can get the filter at a Massey store. It should take about 10 gallons. Good luck

Take a fabric softner sheet like Bounce or any other brand and wipe on any exposed skin. Then put the used sheet in your shirt pocket or belt loop and it'll keep the mosquito's at bay. Smells lots better than sprays...and it "does indeed work".
