BUILD IT AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW! LOL
Has anyone seen anything new on the market recently?
There is a practical point for changing the style and after haveing my new boomer in the garage for awhile the old ones look like there is too much open air space around the engine. Also I felt the same way when I first saw them but its funny how no one has thought that when I am out in the field (any of the guys I know any way)
I really liked the look of the OLD Dodge trucks 1990-1992 I think. They looked alot like a truck and now the newer models look even more different than the old new madels! LOL Follow that one????LOL

The mulcher does take more power. That's why I bought the BX2200. If the grass is wet I slow down, when its dry I can go full speed without clumps or trails. I mow 2.5 acres, with one swale and 200+ trees in 3 hours. The only complaint is not having clippings for garden mulch. Its great to make one pass and be done.

I had pretty well narrowed my search down to a NH TC30 or Kubota 7800 when an ad pops up in the newspaper. 2001 Long 360DTC, 62 hours, w/ Great Bend loader and a 6 foot finish mower (which I don't need).<br>

The price is $17,000 "OBO". $17,000 seems REALLY, REALLY high to me. Corriher or Tarheel would drop a brand new TC30 w/ loader on my doorstep for a couple of thou less.<br>

I was also intrigued by the rake so I called for the video. I knew I was in trouble when they sent a kit with everything you could possibly want to know about it...except the price. I called and was quoted (grab wallet an HOLD ON) $3700.00!!!!!!!
Although it's a nice tool, it is basically 1100 lbs. of steel. Ho hydraulics. No moving parts. No high-tolerance machining. Just a company that has a unique product and knows it.

Here is the deal - all topsoil has to be stripped then fill with large stone (2-3" dia.) about 3" deep. Then gravel - 3-4". Then add as much stone necessary to get the floor level and 6" above grade.

That is the guidance from an excavator. Backfill to create side slopes.

I jut got an email from my dealer. They picked up my CK30 HST at Kioti Friday and will begin assembly Tuesday. The problem seems to be that there are no 60" loader buckets for them. Plenty of 54", although I need a 60.

Has anyone used a CK30 yet? I remember when the CK20 came out. I went to buy one, but after using it I realized that with the HST it just didn't have enough power. Is the CK30 improved?

I don't know much about the BX23 other than it's orange, it's cute, and everyone who has one seems to like them. They're supposed to be surprisingly strong for their size.

Box scrapers are pretty simple devices and if I was looking to save money it seems this would be a good one to "cheap out" on. For somebody who welds they should be easy to fix or strengthen if needed. I'd be more reluctant to go cheap on a rotary cutter, mower, or other implement that had gearboxes and other moving parts.

FWIW, some JD implements are built by other companies and painted green. I'm sure they have input into the specs and build quality though. I have a Frontier box scraper and it is well built and rugged. JD does makes their own rotary cutters I believe.

Exactly, along with it looks like it wieghs next to nothing, and was wondering if it would just push back up to the top, unless the curvature of the scarifers kinda pull it downward?

I have not used a rake so can't say from that point of view, but would think for grading blade would be best. I have a 170' gravel driveway and the rear blade has done well for leveling gravel as well as topsoil.
Yes I have hydraulics for my front blade. What I would recommend is a hard question. Using the front blade is faster if you have a place to put (push) the snow. I do not have weights other then the ballast box loaded with bags of sand (bags so I can remove). I had some problems with my front end sliding sideways as the snow got deeper. I may need front weights to stop this???? I might say here too that I have R4 tires. I have seen some posts and would agree the JD front blade is a little small for the 4115 as far as the power but maybe not for the weight of the tractor??? In my area we had one storm of + 8" snow and driffing that is when I put the blower on. Blower worked well, lot cleaner job more control of where to put snow. I could realy put the snow out there 20-30' or so, but much slower and colder with the blowing snow. Also need to be carefull of the gravel driveway, blower can and will pick up stones, gravel and put it where you don't want it. That is mostly a problem with the first snow fall after that have a base of snow and ice over the gravel. I use the blade first or for light snow falls, so to have the gravel covered with snow/ice so less likely to pick up stones or gravel when put the blower on for heavy snow falls. With the quick change easy to change between to two, less then 5 minutes. The cost of the blower is much Vs the blade though. I have a blade, snow thrower setup on IH cub cadet 16HP I have had for 30 years and the combination always worked well. When getting the 4115 that is why I got both now much more power :-). With all this being said I guess I would say in my case if I was going to have snow over 1' a lot of the time and cost was not a problem and only wanted one item I would go with the blower. I know with a blower I can move almost any amount of snow and not be concerned where I put it can't say that about the blade.I hope this helped you, just my experience over the years.

Ive got a 97 Ford F350 with an 8'dump bed. The cab and bed are currently white. The paint on the cab is in good condition and I dont mind it being white. The bed paint is chipped and rusting and I hate the white dump bed. I want something that wont show rust stains and will be easy to touch up. My first thought is your standard black but you see that alot. Im now leaning towards camouflage for the bed. A nice quality job done in basic woodland camo. Ive never seen a dump truck bed painted camo so it should stand out. It will be easy to touch up, wont show dirt or rust stains and I can get it done for less than gloss black. Im also considering a roll on rubberized bed liner for the inside of the bed. Ive used a product called Hurculiner that has given me good results for years, but not really under the abuse that a dump bed is put through.<br>
Any thoughts, comments, ideas or opinions?<br>
Also, I have pics of my truck, trailer and tractor combo so you can get an idea what it looks like now but I need a host. anyone, anyone.

The BX has it by the price! When you can get more for less what is the problem? Just pull the covers off the spindles on the mower deck and look at the drive belts as well as the thickness of the deck. The reverse air flow on the radiator is great as it doesn't leave you sitting in the heat of the engine while mowing. Can you find a women with the mower you need?

Most loader hydraulic circuits are self-bleeding. Run your loader through the full range of motion in both directions on both hydruailc circuits (lift and bucket roll) and any air in the system should be bleed out by the tractor hydraulics. Maybe someone with a 4610 can chime in if this would be different for that model tractor.

I got two quotes on a 2210, FEL, 54" MMM, Single stage Snowblower in Central Wisconsin. One was $14,441 and the other $14,750 (w/o tax). Both seem to be close to what others are getting.

I got a few more hours in the seat this last weekend. The power of these small tractors still amazes me. see some of the new pics, one is me cutting a field that weeds are close to 4 foot tall! Gotta Luv it!!

Can anyone tell me if attachments made for a JD 755 will interchange/fit with a JD 655 - in particular a hydraulic angle/lift blade, and a front-mounted 47 two-stage snowblower? <br>

fyi, I was at an auction today, (Clinton, NJ) and saw this machine with 86 hours, go for $18,600. very clean. I do not need backhoe so I figured 16K was my limit. I heard 16K was also the reserve. Anyway I never even had to bid it passed me so fast.<br>
