I wouldn't go back. I don't have any patience for that sort of thing. Back when i was shopping for a tractor I stopped into the local JD dealer. I walked around outside for 10-15 min. looking at the inventory, then went inside. There's was a guy at the parts counter & no one else in sight. He came out & asked me if he could help. I told him I was interested in getting a price on a 790 w/fel, box blade & field mower. He went down a hallway & was gone for about 10 minutes. When he came out he had a scrap piece of paper with a price on it. "Here ya go" & he went back behind the counter. Ooookkaaaay. I threw it in the trash on the way out. I had other 'take it or leave it' experiences at other dealers. One of the major reasons I bought the tractor I did was because of the time the dealer gave me to explain things & answer questions. I want to know the dealer is interested in my purchase, especially when it comes time for maintenance.

Congrats on the new JD 4115.. Would you recommend the blade over the rake for grading top soil, also do you have any hydrolics for the 54" blade and would you recommend the front blade for plowing snow of 1 foot and above over a 260' driveway.

As you can tell from the lack of posts, there is very little info available about this model. I've not run into it before. If you can find out the engine number, number of cylinders, number of gears and gear ranges, etc. Does it have hydraulc lift on the three point hitch and does it have a standard 1 3/8" 6 spline pto. How about a picture. With more info, I might be able to help you with your decision. Typically we have had diffficutly supplying parts for the two digit model number tractors, MT16,17,18 etc. Bill - satohparts.com 800-609-5110

Yes and I woluld buy the 750, it sharpens up thru 3/4" and
left hand bits also.
Mine included the left-hand(RED) chuck and a video tape
on instructions!

After a month wait the needed replacement parts finally arrived. Examination of the flex joint that is not being replaced shows some significant wear already, so I'm planning to order a complete replacement driveshaft assembly and have it modified with universal joints. I did drill and tap the female sockets and install some setscrews to keep them from coming off again. With that modification it looks like the flex joints are the weak spot.

I went out looking at different Box scrapers today. There are a few minor differences in the brands (from what I can see most can be made to look like the more expensive ones with about $50 worth of steel and a welder.) The more expensive ones have 3/8 sidewalls (that I looked at anyway) and a shim behind the scarifers. Anyone here know of any other differences? The hook up is much cheaper (made) on the KK's but like I said for about 50 bucks it can be changed.
Have any of you wore out the back blades on yours yet?
How many inches below the blades can your scarifers be adjusted to?

Yes I did trade the 790 in, and yes it's 4x4 with a 521 loader with loaded rear tires and an open drivers station (no cab).The tires are filled with calicum cloride. I probley need to get that stuff out of there beings I can already see a rust color around the valve stem's.

I no nothing about tractors, but we have decided the woman needs one, getting to old to haul dirt. I have been looking at getting a utility tractor, a JD2210 vs a Kubota BX2230, real close in comparsion, attachments will be a front loader, pull behind mower, and a rotary tiller. JD price for this package is around $14,000, Kubota's is around $13,000, we will use it for small farm and landscaping work, residential only.. I need some opionions and recomendations please..<br>

Mulchers have never answered the problem of grass clumping while exiting the deck. Mowing more often, or cutting the ground speed down are about the only solutions I have seen that has had any success. Mulchers use more horsepower do to the recutting of the grass and they still require lower ground speed to not windrow.

This is not the kind of clutch adjustment you might be used to making. It requires a pressure gauge be Tee'd into the forward and/or reverse pressure transducers and readings taken. If the pressures are off it indicates a restricted filter, worn or leaking clutch O-rings or seals, or a defective system regulator or proportioning valve. I'd say let the dealer sort it out under warranty.

The Kory is a very heavy duty outfit. I am using it to haul a 225 gallon water tank (nearly 2000 pounds) up and down my hills.

The hubs use automotive type tapered bearings instead of the greased bronze bushings you will find on the Northern wagon.

The tires are highway rated load range C trailer service rated rather than the low speed turf types found elsewhere.

I am quite pleased with the purchase at this point..... especially since they sell elsewhere for $800-900 + shipping.

i dont push companies but steve is right, tarheel has been great. prices were much better than i could find elsewhere and brandon is a funny guy,he returned every question i asked no mater how stupid they may have seemed. lets face it your not buying a lawnmower for 1500. your spending 10-20-or over 30000 thats a lot of cash to me.

bella i dont know if you purchased the tractor yet but get a 4x4. and dont get it too small. i just sold my 34 hp new holland and got a tc48. nothing worse than spending 3 days getting out a stump you could have gotten out in 3 hrs.

i just bought a tc48 from brandon. the finance % on the 579c is so low its hard to pass up,but bradco 509 has a much better pull than the new holland. they are the same size but the 509 pulls at 5700lbs the 759c at 4400 lbs....big difference. dlc

Depending on the damage could the holes be helicoiled and the machine just put on to lighter duty like lawn mowing?
