4 wd is a must in my opinion however I personaly prefer gear trans. Ever consider maybe buying used?

Bellaterra, how are they as far as ground clearance. Say if you wanted to take it into the woods and there are a few rocks or short stumps? I know you would have to have tracks in the woods.

To remove rivets, use a drill the same size as the shank of the rivet would be or the size of the hole the rivet was put in, same thing. Drill out the center of the rivet and the rest will fall around the shank of the drill.

2WD or 4WD? IMHO it seems a little high either way, but it's probably $1.5-2k high if it's 2WD. Check out pricing for it at machinerylink dot com. 2WD vs. 4WD makes a difference.

I own a Ford 1-ton Dually supercab with the 7.3 diesel and it has power to spare. I've always been a chevy truck man but I'll probably never go back. The new Powerstroke 6.0 has has problems, but word is Ford is going back to the 7.3

If you want a diesel buy a Ford, if you want a gas burner go Chevy.

The tires for the DK40 come in golf course wide size or more narrow lawn size. If you live up north and want to use a bucket you will loose traction of course with the turf tires. You may want to get industrial tires that have a wider foot print with less aggresive lugs on it compared to AG tires. If you are not in 4 wheel drive you should be able to drive on you lawn without tearing it up.

The CK25 and 30's should be out in the middle of June. Kioti is moving to a new warehouse this week and will be ready to ship this coming week. I have 3 ordered and 2 sold as soon as I get them in. Good luck, I mean have fun, you do not need any luck with the tractor it will be fine.

My L3000 dt Kubota would lift a Salsco 824 hydraulic feed chipper and lug it through the woods no problem. The chipper weighed 675 lbs. and it was rather long so most of it was probably behind the 24" and of course all of it was behind the 3pth pins. My land grade is 1 foot drop in 5 at best, most is steeper. I shopped the numbers before I bought it, the 790 didn't compare in any way, but was more money. Nothing against Deere, I own one, but I like getting my moneys worth.

Hope you don't mind me asking a question>

I have a 20 horse agracat. Used it a couple weeks ago and it ran great. Went out to start it to move it off a trailer and it took a long time to start. Then it began to race past the 3000 rpm mark. I turned off the key and pulled the cutoff. It then wouldn't start. Found out the cut off was stuck, really stuck. Took off the back of the injector housing and tapped on the cut off rod with a screw driver handle to get it to move. It started but again it raced, pulled the cut off and it slowed to 2200 rpm. talked with a mech, he said I needed a new injector assembly. Got it and did my best to find top dead center on the motor. Had it running for a few seconds. Now I get no fuel into the primary(top) injector assembly so no fuel to the cylinders. Please help if you can.

The M is a 1946 that dad bought after WWII. It pulled 2-18s. Then we bored and sleeved with M&W Crater Head pistons, stretched rear rims to take 15.5X38s and pulled 3-16s with 2-way hydraulics.

Maybe the Mahindra will become a new RED....

Jeff, got my new TC33 and really like it. It did NOT come with a battery vent. I did get a good manual with it. The manual details all the service needed at 50 hours and beyond. Driving this tractor is soooooo much better than my old Ford 3000. So far the only complaint is some pretty strong smell of diesel fumes from the exhaust when I am moving certain directions. I don't think there is much I can do about that.

If the input shaft is frozen/locked by whatever means the wheels will not turn.

The Kubota looks good, hope it holds up well for you. I looked at the Mules and Gators but went with the Polaris Ranger 6x6 a couple of years ago. Great machine! I have 75 acres, 30 of which flood every time it rains. There hasn't been one place where the Ranger won't go. I've pulled 4x4s out of the mud with it, and pulled a Chevy pickup out last week.

These backhoes are sold under several names.

Out west, Gearmore has their brand on them.

If you check the Great Bend web site you will find your #46 B/H (without the sub-frame) listed as #651.

You will also find 25 dealers in the Pennciltucky area.

BTW Northern tool sells a version of the GB 651.... but I think it only comes with a 13" bucket.

I had the same decision to make. Our company has a 30 and I ended up buying the 29. The 30 is a good tractor but the 29 was a better fit for me. Good Luck

I also have been keeping an eye on the infomation shared here. I have heard several people having good luck with the 20 to 25 hp models, but I have heard more people that have had problems with theirs. I agree that the price is a great deal, but I still am not sure about reliability.

A NH dealer parts guy would be able to look it up in a parts manual to say for sure. Some of the bolts may be a bit specialized. I imagine all would be SAE bolts rather than the grade-2 stuff hardware stores usually have. If I were guessing I'd say the hardware that attaches the bar to the tractor are likely M12's x 20 or 30. Ford 1510's (a similar tractor) has a plate that bolts onto the bar to form the hitch receiver and those use M16 cap screws. They are a swinging and extending type bar that uses a pin for the front pivot point. The pin would be a specialty item.
