hello all its john again. i need to ask you all for some insight on my problem here. and how to maybe proceed on a lift<br>
for a wheelchair.<br>

my lady lesia is totally disabled and has had multiple surgeries. she got injured when young and attending doc bungled procedure which led to many more.<br>

anyway we muddle along best as we can. im sight impaired to make it even more fun.<br>

when i met her she had a jazzy powerchair. very nice machine <br>
to add mobility for a handicapped person. i managed to get a ramp on our home built. so she can get outside without me now.<br>

we need some kind of lift to put in pickup. her car (saturn sl1)is not of capacity to hold any sort of lift. so being as im soon going to have to quit driving for good. i thought we would put lift in my toyota truck.<br>

the chair weighs appx. 225# and i need to find plans to build some sort of post/crane type lift. or find a bargain used crane. manual or electric. i know some of you are masters of fabrication of things.<br>

i was hoping maybe someone could draw out something that would function that i could piece together as we have very limited funds i have a friend that will weld it together but he has no design ability.<br>

if you have a used lift that you want to part with, that you would let me make payments im honerable and my word is my bond. ask murf he knows this to be true. <br>

Getting pallets on and off the forks can be difficult on uneven ground. Features such as hydraulic carriage tilt and a swinging carriage with 3-piece forks make the work easier. Adjustable width forks are desirable since pallet notches aren't always the same width. The hydraulic lift I have on my 3ph forklift is more precise than 3ph control but a hitch lift should be adequate. For a lot of pallet work and for stacking them side-shift is a good feature.

Got my DX33 yesterday, works just like I thought it would. Orginial dealer didn't know what he was doing. CASE engineers from the factory, called me personally before I purchased one to make sure everything I was worried about was answered. Great company to deal with.

For more accurate comparisons for comfort I'd be looking not at the value tractors of kubota but the B-2910 and the L-3130 which are full featured tractors. You still should wind up with in your price range. All companies will try and cloud the issues or to make there tractors look better on paper. It is in the field that the real performance comes in on a tractor. There are none created equal there!

For an L-series Kubota, I would go with the Kubota remotes since they integrate nicely into the tractor. The top link I would get from Carter&Carter (CCM) and the tilt link I would get from Integration Engineering (TCC).

You can get a complete kit from Integration Engineering for $1250 but the valves mount to the ROPS. See www.topandtilt.com.

Unless you really want a flat bed you might talk to a wrecker or body shop. A body shop guy came up with a '92 bed for my body shot '89 F150. We had to wait a few months before the bed was located. Most shops have the connections find this sort of thing. It came from the south, and I expect a bunch more years from it. For my 150, new doors, fenders and cab corners were available from after-market sources.

That's a good comment. I think float on the top-link could work something like a flex-link or boom/chain that are sometimes used with cutters.

I sort of figured that float on a hoe boom would work for trench bottom smoothing. Could have saved me some time and aggravation if I had discovered it while I was still trenching for electric lines.

fifteen ft. in a hundred ft. run is a pretty safe slope long as the slope is consistent. Wheel weights, a ballast box carried low or anything to lower your center of gravity will make it safer. Long as you have a ROPS on the tracor and wear your seatbelt you should be OK. Frank.

There's lies, damned lies and statistics. Depends on whose ox is being gored at the time of the analysis. So, what becomes suspect is who's doing it and their agenda. Oh..their agenda is often cleverly disguised by layers of B.S.

It would be nice if all of these accidental deaths from firearms could be prevented..but that's just not possible. And neither is it possible to prevent all of the other causes of accidental deaths.

This is the real world. We have to live with it. Going to the extremes that alot of moronic politicians do to "prevent" these tragedies is nothing more than "feel good" B.S. politics that does nothing more than cut into our freedoms. Freedom is not free. There are risks involved in living in a free society. If we can't deal with that then we need to go find someother more controlled place to live. BUT..that still won't be a safer place.

Sneak over there and toss in a Mosquito Dunk (Home Depot, coop, etc) or something. Floats on the water and slowly releases a biological agent fatal to the larvae but harmless to everything else, or so they claim.

What if I got a different deck? I believe they made a 44" for this tractor. Did they make a bagger for that deck and 2185 combo?

I guess it's like everything else "subject to change".

I do remember the MX7 was the biggest on the chart and only recommend for the 4710. The MX6 was the biggest for my 4610.

I think, as has been mentioned, it boils down to how far back it hangs. Maybe JD figured out it's not good to drive a tractor on the rear wheels ;)

Isn't this the same one that said they had trouble removing the mower deck as well?
I am like Beagle and have the 7800 and find the loader and mower deck are quite easy to remove and hook back up. It sounds to me as if you need to sell the tractor and hire someone to do the work.

I use a Frontier BB1048 box blade (which I believe is a full size Cat 1 implement) on my 2210 with no problems. The arm fit-up is perfect. However, as previously mentioned, the Sub-CUTs do not give you as much lift, as a regular CUT with a true Cat 1 implement.
