sounds like it's time for a clutch. wouldn't hurt to check the suction filter, it's up in a tube off the side of the pump with three bolts holding the cap on from the bottom. i think it's just a screen and be cleaned.

I just got a new TZ18DA about a week ago, I also was wondering about the specs before I got it.
My manual has the specs for both the 18, and the 24...for tractors, and the 54"/60" MMM.
I am at work now,(Fathers day afternoon/night!..waaa!)but would be glad to look in my manual, and give you the specs I have in the AM..

I would like to ask anybody to answer this for me. My tractor is working slowly. /.//646/// It doesn't work in high gear in the rear. In low it will work but not go up steep hills. The loader is slow with no real power. A new pump was put in before I got it. A 15 gpm from nothern. Does anybody have any answers. Does the new pump have a control valve too. Thank you. Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know where I can find a template for Word that is designed for keeping maintenance records for our CUT's?<br>
With my new machine I would like to be able to keep accurate records of all service that is done. Maybe even a freeware or shareware program that could do it. All I seem to find are more like auto expense reports. Thanks, Mike.

I've never heard a solid reason for the name boomer. The best guess is that baby boomers are buying 'em :)

One thing to watch for is corrosion around the battery area. The battery is mounted in front of the radiator and if there is outgassing the fan draws the gases through the radiator. Keep that area flushed clean. My JD 4310 has the same issue, but the dealer gave me a vent cap that vents through a 2 foot tube extending out the bottom of the tractor. A simple fix.

hamilton, believe it or not there wasn't a scratch on me or the tractor. The worst thing that happened was a battery cap came off and dumped acid. I flushed it clean and replaced the battery and all is well. Could have been a whole lot worse.

If it were my money I'd definitely go with the 790. It will likely be more reliable with better parts availability, resale value and dealer support.

A core aerator works much better than a spike IMHO.....The spike just compacts soil more...it does open holes to let nutrients in better, but at the same time it does compact the soil.....The soil plugs that a corer pulls out slowly filters back into holes in soil over about a 2 to 3 week interval after use.....the holes first fill up with tiny roots from sod....you can see them.....you can alos cut you fertilizer rate in half if you do it before application...I have been using a 48" pull-behind for years....They usually last about 4 or 4 years because I use them a lot......I get them at Northern ......It is getting hard to find the ones that have the larger diameter inside holes though.<br>

I have the 3130 with the 723 & love it. I have a bogford grapple. if you use your sence, You'll have no problem with the larger loader. I do understand that the dealer is trying to be safe with you as you have no experience yet. You should definitly fill your rear tires for wieght though...i recommend foam fill. Being that I transport my machine often, I usually fill it right up at the station. I have a station 2 miles from home, so in the occasion I run low while at home & I enjoy a nice road cruise on my country back road to the station on the machine.

A friend of mine is a carpenter. He has an angle finder that looks very similar to the products on the web-link provided here on page one. It has a heavy magnet on the base that would allow it to stick to about any spot on a Kubota. Could check angles in any direction and once you have qualified your property it has an alternate use :>.

I have the same tractor as you do, B-2150HST. I installed a new Wood's 1006 loader with a 54 inch bucket 2 years ago and it has served me well with no problems. Plan on spending 2700.00 and that includes dealer installation.
