I,ve owned 2 trucks both Ford, in my long 37 year life, and both were bought used at that. I never had any problems with ether other than regular maintainance and an starter or alt. now and then.
When I went to buy a new truck in October 2003 I had every intention to buy a Ford diesel . The dealer had a Ford, a Dodge (Wow was it loud), and a Chevy (all used) he started them all up and after hearing how quiet the Chevy was I took her for a spin. Wow, I haven't looked back. I get between 15.5-19 mi. to the gallon. It's a 2001 2500HD with the Allison Tranny. I have added a Edge juice w/attitude. I love the power, I love the way it rides, I just love the truck. I have taken quite the razzing from friends and family for buying a Chevy. I don't care though it's love.

what tires do you have? what is the top speed of the tractor? what rpm are you running the engine?

I heat my house and hotwater with #2 diesel so i have a 275 gal tank that I have put a hand (crank) pump in the top of. I drive up to the tank and pump away. It is very convinent.

How does every one fuel their tractor There must be a better way

Obviously I like the 2210, but I would suggest you checking the air pressure, level front to back as well as side to side, and if needed, take a tape measure and go around the tire, pressure could be similar but one may have a larger diameter.

I live in the Kansas City area and want to buy a TC33 DA with a loader, supersteer, hydrostat and turf tires. The local dealer has quoted me a price of $18,800.00. Does this sound on the high side? I have looked all over the web for New Holland MSRP prices, but can't find any. I'd really like to know what list price is so I can start negociating. Thanks

I have an RCK60-27B mid mower advertised in the classified section that has only 20-30 hrs on it. Don't know if I'm going to get in trouble for posting this, but it seemed like a good Idea to let everyone reading mower articles know that its there!

I think you can use a 7800 for trenching. I plan to use mine. In the other thread you asked about a rear hydro block. Rear plugs may be necessary, but can be added to the 7800. They are an option on the 2710 and 2910 also. Don't confuse the rear hydro block with rear plugs. All the rear block allows is another place to tap into the tractor hydro system for adding rear remote plugs.

The 2410, 2710, and the 2910 are all compatable with Kubota's trencher as listed by Kubota because of the rear block. If you are going with the 24xx series, I would recommend at least the 2710 for both the pto hp and the size of the frame. Trenchers can really test a tractor. The 7800 is the same size and has the same drive train as the 2910, just has some of the features the 2910 has removed for economy. If trenching is your major concern, talk to your Kubota dealer. I think you will find that the 7800 can be set up for a trencher just fine.

My father is still laughing at me because I bought this Hinomoto E2602A tractor 2 WD (649 hrs) with original Front Loader for $5000.00. He said I would never be able to find parts, filters, or anything on the thing. So far, I matched the oil filter and the two Hydraulic filters by going to O'Reilly auto parts....no leaks and everything is fine......I took the air filter out and it looks like it needs to be changed....Do you have one I can order? I also need the front headlights....Also, One the reflectors on the left fender signal is out...or should I say the lenses are out of the frame on the signal light..... <br>

He said it looked like it was less than 20 hp, but I was looking at the Specs online and it says it is 31 hp, and weighs 2548 lbs. Would you know who is correct?<br>

Could you explain the 3-way control on this tractor...I know one is for the up and down on the back hydraulics, like lifting the brush-hog up and down, and one is for one side that has a hydraulic lift....but it is only on one side......the third way I don't have a clue.....there is a switch on the fender that you can switch to different positions, but when you select one position nothing moves, the hydraulics hose up front kind of kicks around but nothing......would you know?<br>

The PTO has 4 gears....I'm guessing the first is 540, but do not know what the 2nd through 4 speeds would be, and since all of the American tractors have only 540, what in the world would you use the other 3 speeds for?<br>

Also, (I know I'm wearing you out with questions) do you know where I check the differential fluid? I saw where the hydraulic fluid dipstick was...mine is in the middle behind the gears......just in front of the seat down on the transmission......or is this one dipstick to check the whole transmission/hydraulic fluid the tractor runs on....I figured there would be a nut you take out somewhere on the differential and stick your finger in and see if it hits 80/90 weight? I guess this is why I need a service manual to show me what everything does and how to replace all the filters and take care of the thing.....The service Manual does come in english correct?<br>

Mark, I had a similar situation with money owed on an unpaid account for which I sued and won.

I thought the money was gone also, then I ran into a lawyer from California who was visiting friends in the Bahamas. He said that the courts all recognize other courts orders. I had my lawyer mail him a copy of the court order and had it 'entered' in the California court system, basically a legal way of recognizing & localizing the other courts order.

Then I just put it out for collection locally in California. He was REALLY P'O'ed when a tow truck left with his Mercedes.

It cost me a total of about $200 to do.

Long does not manufacture tractor, they only inport them, I own a Long FarmTrac 60, that I purchased new in 1998, I have owned several different tractors and for the price I would rate the FarmTrac as an excellent buy.. I have not had any major problems so I have not had to purchase any parts but the local dealers assure me there is no problem getting parts, now I am refering to the FarmTrac 60.. The price for the Tractor you are purchasing seems a little high to me...

How did you find this site. I have been searching for months on the net in Australia (and I am no slouch on the net). Anyway Thank you very much, this info is much appreciated and gives me comfort some parts will be coming to aussie. I noticed the pics are of the pre lawsuit type - I wonder how long this will last.

There pricing is a little disapointing, the 804 is priced over 2.5 times their cost (I have the USD cost from the factory).

Thanks for the help. Right now I am at the point where I know I have fuel coming to the injector pump. But I can not get anything out of the new pump. I have tried cranking it for quite a while. I am stumped at this point.
