According to the JD tech manual the entire PTO section of the JD 4300 is serviced from the rear of the tractor without splitting it.

I guess I don't live in pot-hole country. Our version is the washboard that develops on the up-hill stretches of the gravel roads. Something best fixed by smoothing rather than re-digging.

Given the choices you offer, I would go with either a used Big-3 brand or a new Kioti, if and only if there are dealers in your area that would provide parts and support for whatever brand you choose. The last thing you want is to have the tractor down for a month or two while you are hunting for and waiting for parts.

I'll have to tell my carpenters how lucky they are to be working in Canada.

In Califonia they would apparently get shot at, have to deal with drunks, people high on drugs, domestic violence, people who don't want to go back to jail, risk their lives dealing with the scum of the earth on a daily basis for people who don't want them there in the first place and then have to work on burning structures to boot!!!

God Bless Canada, all we have to deal with is sunburns and mosquitoes.

There are hitches built in many sizes normally corresponding to the size of the tractor. They start a Catagory O, that is for some of the larger garden tractors like the 400 series on deere and the super size cadets. Then they move in full size to catagory 1, but there is a half size at each break giving an O/1 catagory hitch and this is where the sub-compacts fit. The catagory 1 hitch actually goes up to 60 horsepower and more on some lighter made tractor chassis's and then you run into catagory 1/2 than to the full catagory 2. there are more hitches made going to 3 and 4 as well with the half sizes in between.

The LA350A was the loader used by Kubota on these tractors and it is no longer available though Kubota. You will have to go thru an aftermarket company for a loader at this time. The seat that is factory didn't have arm rests on it but there are plenty of universal styles of seats that will fit on with little or no work.

I have'nt heard of any Satoh/Mitsubishi tractors with any #s close to that. What is the history of the tractor? I'm receiving quite a few inquiries with mislabelled tractors. Mainly the Viet Namese ones.

I also have a B2910 and a kubota 4590 backhoe.
It is a 3 pt mount with pto pump and works great!
I dont think kubota makes a frame mount for this model but I could be mistaken.

I do reccomend getting a reinforced mount for where the pins attach the center arm mount to the back of the tractor.

Ive done trenching,installed culverts,dug a few small ponds,demolished old sheds and pulled a few stumps too with no problem.

Sometimes I am amazed at what tractor salesmen don't know....

I do know those little niggling things can really take the shine off the joy of a new machine. If you are having thoughts about upgrading ... DO IT NOW.

Strike while the iron is hot. If you are like most.... you are going to keep your tractor for enough years to cancel out the extra cost.

It's not $2700, more but likely $45 bucks a month to get what you really want and really need. Can you afford $45 bucks to get what really satisfies your soul?
I think maybe you can.

BTW, I started with a 4100 Gear in June of 2001 and while trying to sell it bought a BX22 in 2002 and was not satisfied with that either.

Last year I sold the BX and traded the 4100 Gear for a 4115 HST and a 46 backhoe. I am a very happy camper now. I hope that this tractor and I will grow old together.

I only wish I had gotten what really satisfied me to start with...........

Congratulations, great tractor and even better picture. Now that you have that tractor, your mowing frequency may go up just for the seat time. I'm sure you'll enjoy your Kubot as much as we enjoy ours. It's a family thing around here.

Glad to hear it worked out for you. Make sure you double dip the dip stick before each use. That hydraulic fluid is as important to your tractor as oil is to the engine, and there are more ways to loose it!

Your best bet might be to look local. there are plenty of Kubota's that would handle the chore. Look for an L or M-series on the large size but even a two wheel drive large enough could handle a loader fine. You should be able to find an L-2250 vintage about that size or larger if looks aren't important to you for the price you want to pay. The low interest makes a L-3400 quite attractive for your job.

My JD 5320 with approx 850 hrs started this morning and ran for a minute and quite. I was unable to restart it. I checked the fuel filter and definately have fuel going to the injector pump but when I crank the starter nothing is coming out of the pump. I purchased a new pump. Can anyone tell me how to remove the old pump. I have removed all the bolts and the nut on the end of the shaft and still can't remove it.<br>
