Stonegate; I've got both a 4310 and a 4410 12/12 reversers. There is some difference but not earth shaking. I too like the controls and the comfort, the controls just seem to be where your hand falls a true joy to operate. Just looked at the 4000 Twenty series on the JD web. Unless they are coming with smaller models all of them are higher horse power than a 4410. We can have fun giving them a test drive. Frank.

Sorry for your troubles, Blue. We havn't had too much plastic breakage yet (2001 TDI Jetta, 50K miles) but I do agree some of the plastic pieces seem a bit on the chincy side of the quality curve. The fuel door was replaced under warranty, but the drivers inside door handle is now peeling and the warranty is gone, so I guess it will be time to pay up there. Our cup holder is hanging in there with surprisingly no breakage yet. (I thought it would be the first thing to go!)

Otherwise the 50MPG is savings enough to pay for some minor plastic issues in my oppinion.

The motor in my 2230 is smoother and QUIETER compared to my neighbor's 2200. Seat is nicer too. I have only used the cruise while "roading" so I see little use for it.

My website has a bunch of detail pics if you are interested. I did get the instructions posted for the grass catcher mounting procedure, but no pictures yet. Maybe in a couple days.

With two new knee joints I am having trouble cleaning and removing the blades on my current riding mower so I am looking for a residential riding mower with a flip up deck. I know there are some out there like the Walker S model and the Country Clipper Jazee model. I have read good things about the Jazee and it is reasonably priced in the 4 to 5k range but I can not find a dealer in Idaho. The Walker is pretty spendy at over 7k. Does anyone know of any other residential models out there with a flip up deck. Also any one with experience with the Jazee or Walker. <br>

That MSDS sheets they sent me show two different viscosities for the UDT. I am thinking perhaps they may have made a typo and one is for Super UDT.

Got new B-2910 with 72" MMM last Friday......Man it is even better than I thought.......I did not realize what a good deal until I saw on this forum people were paying as muct as $18,500. for B-2910 with same mower.....I only had to pay $15,800. walk out price......I did go to three dealers within about a 50 to 75 mile area....but prices were not that much different....so I went with the dealer that I KNEW had the best service dept.......I know that on my B-8200 with a 60" MMM that I have had for 19 years I have probably paid as much or more for maintenance as I originally paid for the tractor...keeping it in tip top shape.....but the dealer I have been trading for for all of those years, really has NO service dept...at all....I literally have sent him 14 CUSTOMERS all ready to buy KUBOTAS....because I had already SOLD them on Kubota....all I ever asked in return is that he could get my tractor back to me within 3 to 4 days when something went wrong with it so I could cut my grass when it needed to without it getting too tall!!!! He always kept it 10 to 14 days....not for parts, but because he said he was too busy to get to it! It looks like a Kubota comercial when all of us are cutting in my area...we all have yards of about 4 to 5 acres with more land behind our yards......and they all now have Kubotas....except one farmer who has a large Massey.....I love my new tractor

Check the yellow pages for specialty outlets that handle belts, hoses, V-pulley drive systems, etc., they will likely have a source or can lead you to one. Hope this helps. Frank.

Oliver; Most any TSC store or Fleet Farm will have the heavy hinges you need. I don't know a lot about horses, but I do know they like to chew on stall boards, so avoid any lumber thats treated with the green preservative most of that has some arsenic in it. We buy some rough sawn planks from the sawmill for heavy construction. If they're not kiln dried they will likely warp as the lumber dries out then your doors won't fit too well plus they're real heavy to handle. Probably your best bet is to use standard dimension lumber from the lumber yard and as needed replace the top board the horse chews up. I hope someone else chimes in her cause I'm kinda dim on the care of horses, I've built barns but never owned a horse. Good luck. Frank.
