Oh yeah I jumped directly to trouble shooting. Cycling the loader before thinking about fixing it always is better. Running at substantial rpm when doing heavy work also is good.

Sure hope cavitation is the answer, although I usually associate it more with the bucket than the lift circuit--the large side of the cylinders is on the pressure side for dumping and the small side is on pressure side for lowering. Some of the cavitation vapour also is reabsorbed after the vacuum is resolved as well.

I'd check the engine oil periodically for coolant, check the hose clamps and maybe get a new rad cap on general principle. A 98 likely is too new for internal separation of the hoses to be very likely but maybe new hoses too, although I probably wait and see if the problem reoccurs. Clogged rad was probbly the problem.

My 1710 pump is very sensitive to air and it doesn't have a self-bleeding system. I've had to bleed the fuel lines several times to clear air after filter changes. I haven't had to bleed the injector lines though. If yours is similar and it barely runs, puffs gray smoke is unstable at idle and won't take throttle air is a good bet. Some tractors do have a screen inside the tank or in a fitting at the outlet. The stream of fuel that comes out of the filter bowl when bleeding should indicate if there's a blockage ahead of the filter. A similar check on the stream when bleeding the pump should indicate if there's a blockage at the filter (wrong filter or installation etc.).

I think owners' manuals give procedures for bleeding both the fuel and injector lines (the bleed port on my pump was hard to identify). I'd make sure the fuel lines are bled and then proceed to the injector lines. There are some safety issues so a manual's procedures should be followed. The manuals don't mention that several attempts may be needed to be successful and making an oily mess in the engine compartment is likely.

Sorry Patrick, I was out of bounds to make that insinuation. To answer your question, although it is my right to do so, I wouldnt necessarily refuse to service a tractor sold by another dealer, but I would have to charge the customer. (That is unless some nationally insured extended warranty like Fail Safe was in effect that would cover the repair).

Automobile and most major brand tractor companies pay thier dealers to do warranty service and that is why they do it. For example in my Kioti contract, I agree to work on Kiotis brought to me...and Kioti agrees to compensate me. In my Lenar contract I agreed to do the service on the tractors I sold at my own expense.

The terms of your warranty agreement should reflect this arrangement.

With most Chinese tractors, the cost to do warranty labor is included in the profit on the sale. I used to sell machine tools and service labor was handled in a similar fasion, higher dealer discounts.

Many dealers of Chinese tractors import their own tractors and arrange their own warranty based on the manufacturers parts replacement policy. So one dealer really cannot work on another dealers tractor. This is why it is so important to buy from an established, reputable dealer and there are many of them out there who work hard to keep thier customers satisfied. And yes there are many satisfied customers of Chinese tractors out there.

The only company selling a Chinese manufactured tractor through dealers on a nationwide basis that also stands behind the warranty labor that I know of is Farm Pro.But there may be some others.

Pretty good-looking trees and the mound as well. I don't imagine they'll limb up as they mature like our pine so the privacy would remain.

We lucked out as well. We talked to our highway dept. A junior engineer stopped by on a Sunday when she was returning home from a personal trip and took a bunch of pictures. The engineers and consultants decided they didn't need the land after all. They'll even write a requirement to protect our tree roots into the construction contract.

Age 32 and ci is 22. It has been as high as 32 but had to clean out the shed and the wife said the S-10 p/u had to go. A new full size p/u may be in the future though.

I have a JD2210 with R4's and it doesn't tear up my lawn unless it�s very wet. I use it mainly for cutting the grass and I love it� I too, wanted a JD4110 but couldn�t justify the $3,500 difference since my main use is cutting the grass and a little landscape work for the loader.

You have to ask yourself... What am I saving by not using the correct oil? Money? Convenience? Surely not in the long run on either account. Why guess at all? The difference in cost is maybe a few dollars up front. I would question any dealer that does not follow the manufacturer's instructions. The engineers that designed the machine KNOW the reasons why certain specs are there. Save yourself the trouble and use Kubota fluids in a Kubota, Deere fluids in a Deere and so on.

I have a TC33D, 7308 loader, 757 hoe, 3pt finish mower, 5ft rake, wt box and this thing just gets better everyday. The tractor is two years old with 330 hrs the only problem I had was the battery went bad and replaced under warranty. I would definitely buy again. My situation is very similar to yours and this set up has more than met my needs. I also have a post hole digger from TSC which also worked great.

I second that. If you look into hauling it on a tandem axle flat bed, single auto-carrier, flat deck dove tail, or similar light duty trailer, find out what the weight is for that particular model. Weights are listed on the Kubota website. Remember that the center of gravity is MUCH higher than a car. The wider, lower, and longer the trailer, the better.

Thanks again to everybody for your input. Come to find out it seems the higher end cost is due to me trading in a 2001 425. The dealer already stated he could sell my tractor for the trade in price or a little more but he say's due to the trade in the numbers aren't the same. We went round and round on this and I still can't make sense of it. Have I mentioned how much I hate dealing with salesmen and the whole process of buying !!

I gave up on the mid mount. Went to Orschelns and picked up a 72" rear mount, side discharge. $999. Spent about 30 min setting it up, getting all the parts greased and the drive shaft hooked up. Finish mow looks pretty good. Have to look behind sometimes but that does not make my neck as sore as spending $2500 extra would have.

I am having problems with my 1999 360DTC and I am having trouble getting any type of repair manual. I called Long and they sent me to a dealer and the dealer told me the only manaul you can get is a service manual and it has nothing about repair. I ordered that manual and the parts manual hoping I can figure it out. <br>

The problems are, the FWD lever broke inside of the housing. The lever can be rewelded but it won't go back in the housing without taking it all apart. Second problem I found while looking at the first problem. In the trans. there is a large shaft low in the trans. that has some type of clutch on the back of that shaft. A keeper type nut came off of the front side of that clutch and has been running around on the shaft and the theads on the inside of the nut are gone. This means that has to come apart to get a new nut on the shaft. My biggest problem is no dealer with 200 plus miles. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks !

I didn't see that you had the 60" deck which makes it a very productive mower. There are different configurations on this chassis for power as well as mower widths.
