Tnchris,

First off..learn to spell and second maybe you should'nt be so sensitive about a little constructive criticism about my machine..I have said my tractor has its ups but just because I mention some downs it should not hurt your feelings..maybe someone could actually listen to my remarks and put them to good use by improving the little short comings I have found with my tractor...we do live in democracy don't we?? I can express things maybe not to everyones liking....no, I do not work for deere....do you work for Kubota..if so maybe you could talk to them about my concerns...

Was driving down the interstate today and went by a few New Holland TN's 75's I think, mowing the sides of the road. They mow some incredibly steep banks. One of the tractors was stopped and the driver was looking back as if something was wrong, there was, I almost ran over the mower drive shaft that runs from the pto to mower, well 1/2 of it anyway. I think he ran over one of the metal reflector posts that was bent to the ground by a vehicle. OUCH!!!!

Hick 11, My first John Deere 110 tlb went back after breaking down 4 times in around 12 hours. This is what I make a living with. I was so sorry I sold my Kubota n(O) problems. JD made me an offer I couldn't refuse so I took delivery of another 110 tlb after I calmed down, it broke in 3 hrs. When they came out to fix it, I had a feeling that all would be fine from then on, 100 brutal hours so far in the past month and it's been sweet. I am very impressed with what this machine will do, it's like a skid steer,mini escavator, backhoe, loader, all in one.

The important difference hear is that it is a tiller. The torque to the three point from the rotating tiller makes a difference on what the three point is capable of accepting. The "shock" or impact loads from the tiller could easily double the reaction at the three point. This kind of impact load would not be generated by carrying loads or dragging a box blade. Better stick with the recommended limitations on this one.

The recommended tillers from Kubota are the BL60C (57") Economy tiller or the FL1271RC (50") Deluxe reversable tiller. Both weigh in around 480lbs.

I already have a New Holland GT20 with a 48" mower which my wife uses.

I always said the next on will be bigger, but then I moved.

I am just hopefull the resale on the BX23 is as good as my L3300. It seems odd to me that they are willing to trade even and 1996 with 390 hours for a brand new BX23TLB?????

You can still add a slip clutch, availible from Tractor Supply for around $95.
My 6' King Kutter came with sheer bolts. I added the slip clutch. I did need to shorten the driveshaft slightly when I added the clutch.

Hello, some of you may know me, I am Patrick Webb, I have several posts under Lenar Tractors. The reason that I am responding to this subject is simple. Taskmaster is part of Mazama Products, the same company that markets Lenar tractors. My point is this, I have had several Lenars in under a 6 month period, all were lemons, now I am stuck with this tractor and I just found out that one Lenar dealer does not have to work on a tractor that he did not sell. If it is that way for Lenar, it may be that way for a Taskmaster. Just because your dealer is there today, will he be there a yr or three yrs from now when you need a mechanic. What I have found is that mechanics shy away from products that they are not familiar with or machines that they are not sure that they can get parts for. With all the posts that I have read about Taskmaster, I think I would really think about where I spent my money. The true value of a tractor comes from service after the sale, not the sale price. If it is broke and doesnt run, and there is no one to work on it, did you really save any money??? Just a thought to ponder. Good luck guys. Integrity is everything.

Hello, you are correct, it is time to escalate. I am contacting whoever will listen to me, most of what I am getting is I am stuck, that may be so, but since I have this time on my hands and I am hard headed and strong willed, I will make sure that everyone knows that Lenar, Mazama, and Taskmaster are things that should never be bought or sold in the USA. What type of company would even think of telling its dealers that they do not have to work on the same brand of tractor that they sell if they did not sell that particular tractor. All of us could understand if JD or Kubota wont work on a Lenar, but not to work on a JD or a Kubota because they did not sell it?????? COME ON. That is rediculous. For those of you that do not know me, you may see me trucking this Lemon wherever I go. You may see me at the fairs, or even in front of your dealership. You may not have to work on it, but I will make sure people see it. Lenar, one man can not ruin your business unless you give him the power to do so. Keep running from your customers. I know of 19 people that have written me to my personal email account of the type of service that you have not given them. It does make me feel a little better to know that I am not the only one, but it makes me sick that you think that you can get away with it. I will be seeing you around.

I'm new to tractors and presently looking at a 2001 JD770, 4wd, mower and loader and 1655 hours for $12000. Is this a deal or should I stay away because of the hours. It appears to be taken care of.<br>

I own a Cub Cadet 1215. I am having problem with it throwing the belt off that comes from the clutch down to the deck. I buy new ones and it keeps throwing them. I think I have the tension pulley spring in the wrong spot. Does anyone have any ideas. I have no manual to show me where to put the spring. I am just another one of those silly dumb single women..lol Any help appreciated.

Hi, ScooterMagee. I did exactly what you are proposing under slightly different conditions. My trade-in value ended up being effectively higher due to some concessions for inconvenience from a warranty issue suffered during most of the first year I owned the tractor. Ultimately, I kinda' wish I would have bought the bigger tractor in the first place, but have no real complaints with the 2210. The increased power/speed of the hydraulics along with the other items you mentioned were justification for me to choose an upgrade over a replacement for my 2210. The 4110 has quite a few other "deluxe" touches, such as cruise control and vibration dampening in the floor boards. Folding ROPS and swinging draw bar are a couple more. Good luck. If you can afford it (truly), go for it. If you can afford the next step up, go for it too. It really doesn't sound like you need much more than the 41XX, but who am I to judge. <8~) Pete

It sounds $3-4k too high to me. For comparison, go to this link and see what they'd charge for the same thing. They list the 4115 with dual SCVs for loader right at $14k, 410 loader at $2460, and a 60" mmm at $2299.

I have a new BX and had the same concerns - So far, I have dug some footings down to 3 feet (I don't think 5 - 6 feet would be a problem). As far as grading with the FEL, no problem once i added a tooth bar.

I have a Cub Cadet 7205 that has been hard starting and finally would not start. I found all 3 glow plugs to be bad. I replaced the glow plugs and the engine starts great but now the glow plug light stays on even after the engine is running, I'm afraid to burn out the new plugs and think that either the controller or relay is bad. How do I diagnose which part or wiring is bad?

Sounds like a loose quik-connect could be causing the problem. Check that they are all clicked together correctly and the backing plate nuts are firmed up.
