Okay I'm from oklahoma. I can't tell you the exacts but I know the L3130 HST is in the 13,000 range. I'm getting a L3130HST with a LA723, plus BH90 hoe, Industrial tires at 24,500. So hopefully that will give you something to measure off of. I was quoted on the tractor itself from 13,150 to 13,800 from 4 different dealers. I never asked the prices on the implements piece by piece. Probably not a good ideal on my part , but i did ask on the tractor alone.

I got an excellant deal on a Rhino backhoe.<br>
Rhino 85 (8 1/2 foot digging depth/ 11 foot reach) with subframe, 18" heavy duty bucket and hose kit.<br>
Still on crate (I installed mounting brackets , hose kit and fittings, bucket and assembled the subframe)<br>

Hi,

Just a short time ago I was making a decision between a used skid steer and a used 4wd tractor, as you are now. What I liked about the skid steer is that compairing similiar hp, the skid steer will outlift the tractor by quite a bit. It also appeared to be more "robust" than the tractor The skid steer seemed to get stuck in mud pretty quickly as compaired to the tractor. I also wanted to get a backhoe attachment for my new machine, and the tractor was easier to find with a hoe than the skid steer. I ended up with a tractor, only because the right deal came by at the right time. That being said, the jobs you list IMO would be better off with a tractor. Good luck finding your new machine!

Thanks for the info, I think the 2wd is why the dealer has this machine left over. My dealer has a 4310 arriving tomorrow. I think I will check that out first.

I apprecite all the feedback, this board and memebers are a great resource.

Sounds like an enhancement to the system I have. Because the 3-point floats, I can only determine the elevation I have set the blade at, kind of homemade position control. To hold a given elevation with the three point, downpressure would be required. Am I understanding that he had a way of fixing the elevation of the blade, or did his system float also. Downpressure isn't something the 3pt is really designed to take very well.

I can tell if the blade is riding a high spot by watching the indicator, just can't do anything about it.

I'm trying to find a part that goes from the pto shaft of tractor to the finish mower.There is a piece that comes from the gear box on the finish mower the piece i need slides in it and attaches to the pto shaft on tractor

First of all, the 7800 and the 7510 have the same 1/4" valve, so going from the 7510 to the 7800 for better control is senseless. They will both be the same.

I have the 7800 with the 1/4" valve and have stated many times it is the only thing about the machine I would change. The previous post is right on, it isn't very useful for grading work. You can't set a repeated grading height like you can with position control.

With a few months of head scrathing and a couple different designs, I now have a position indicator on my 7800 3-point that allows me to reset the grade elevation without turning around, and with excellent repeatability. Necessity is the mother of all invention.

If you like to tinker, there are ways to overcome the shortfall, but know going in that all the B7xxx series tractors have the 1/4" valve and it is somewhat a compromise from position control. It was something Kubota put on these machines to make them cost competitive. Other than the 3-point control, it is an excellent tractor.

I rigged up a hydraulic front blade that I use for snow and some dirt grading. Glad I have the 4-way valve. For the money at the time of purchase, I think it is worth it. It could come in handy at trade or sale time too.

Have you talked to your dealer? Since it's still new maybe they can work a trade for a model that is more stable on hills (lower center of gravity).

I did not know for sure because we had a long in our shop as a trade and the engine looked very much like a ford. I know, how can you tell by looking at and engine who makes it? Well when you look at them all day you can start to tell them apart. But remember i said looked I could not find any casting numbers to reference so i am guessing.

First if the kubota is cheaper than the tc30 you are looking at the wrong dealer. Second from what i could find the great bend b-hoe looks a little weak compared to a nh 756c 757c. Also from what I saw is the great bend is not much if any cheaper than nh. Did your dealer give you a price on a nh hoe or did he just price you the other one? I work as a mechanic for a dealership that sells both nh and kubota so i really do not favor one or the other they are both good machines, i just caution you about buying and thing that is not well known, I you are financing you will get a better rate if you buy all of one make product also.

My wife is real happy with the roomba (remote robotic vacuum). It is a little saucer shaped disk that really works - everyone comes to see it go under the beds - work its way around chairs. Its a real conversation piece and goes for about $200.

Well, that stinks. If you feel you got ripped off then you certainly should return it all for a refund since that feeling will likely not go away. If you like it and want to keep it maybe one of the dealers has an assembled one on display that you can look at. That may give you the info you need on how to assemble it.
