If the F510 uses a electric clutch like my 322 and it clicks when you engage it that you will have to adjust the clutch per the maintenence manual.

Some great pictures. You sure can do alot with a CUT. Just out of curiosity - how many HP is your Kubota? My JD is 20 HP but, me thinks it will do just fine for my purposes.

I have had my JD870 since 1997 and it has operated flawlessly and is in mint condition. But I cant use it on my pastures in the late fall to late spring in most years as the Ag tires compact the ground. I had a brush hog, but it just wacked the grass, didn't really cut it. Rather than buy a smaller tractor, could I benefit from turf tires? <br>

Problem is you have to buy new wheels too, about $1000 for a set when I checked last year (unless I can find used). I check with tire manufacturers too, same story. I would want to put a MMM on if I did this, but apparently need the conversion kit as well as the deck.<br>

So would it be worthwhile to change over to turf tires?

I would like some advice on the type/size of mower that can be easily handled by a 7100D Kubota. Also any other comments on suitable attachments - rotary hoe,sprayer - for this model.

Based on my experience, I think a 4 foot box scraper and a 5 foot grader blade are the maximum size for a BX.

$10 a month, $120 a year, isn't that bad at all, but my tractor is covered under the personal property with my home owners insurance (estate policy), This sounds great if your tractor is covered for comercial use. The question I would be asking would be is the tractor covered under this policy for the designated term of the loan? Example 48 month loan includes a cost of $10 a month for replacement value insurance, or you are required to purchase an insurance policy for replacement value that covers your tractor for the original financed length of time. If I pay that contract off in 24 months is my tractor still covered for the original 48 month term? since I paid 48 months worth of premiums per the contract? As the insurance company is paid up front and you are just borrowing that money from the lender to pay that policy thereby raising your payment $10 per month. Or is this policy to protect the lender? yes it is. and chances are they will not lend you the money if you do not agree to purchase this policy for the lender.

They don't call it either a Futian or a Foton; http://ruralking.com/rko/cart.cgi?PRODUCT=030010921&SPD=Y6610948636ej5Q&AISLE=3378. This FT404's physical appearance suggests pre-lawsuit Futian. Which, if correct, may give one pause for concern about replacement parts.

Tim, if you are considering green paint and hydrostatic drive transmission is not a must; I would suggest looking at a JD 790 or a JD 990 (the 990 might be a bit on the large side of what you were considering) They are VERY good and solid reliable tractors that would fit very well with the uses you have in mind and are right in the price range you are talking about. I would caution that you may find the 4010 a bit underpowered but still a very good tractor as well. The John Deere 4010 thru 4115 as well as 790 & 990 are manufactored 100% by Yanmar for Deere. I think DRankin and F350Lawman can give you some VERY good feed back on both. The Kubota's are VERY good tractors as well and I am sure Art White can give you some excellent guidance as to which my suit you best. Perhaps something along the lines of a B7810? You are gonna have to get out there, look at, demo, and compare. Go with what suits you best. I good dealer is absolutely a must as already covered.

Hi, I've been reading some of these questions and answers and thought this would be a good place to help settle mine. I'm close to a deal on a L3130 Hst with a LA723 (required because of the BH90 backhoe) plus a BH90 backhoe. I also wanted the industrial tires. Long story short guys I was quoted $24,500, no room to move downward (dealers qoute). I was also told that the bucket only on the front loader would be pin-detachable (not skidsteer). I have not found anything other that the skidsteer to be detach, but that is one of the reason's for this posting. I would appreciate any feed back from you and expect to give you mine in the future. This is a power plus question and answer link. Thanks for any help

Check out a company called KWManufacturing. I had one of their loaders on a previous tractor and was impressed with the quality. They produce loaders for several OEMs and you will be assured that the loader is compatible with your tractor model.

As posted, the CK25 and CK30 aren't available yet. I drove a CK20 last fall and really liked the build of the machine, but it seemed underpowered for the wieght. If I could have waited, I would have gone for a CK30. They have some nice creature features and seem very well built. They are a heavier machine than the Kubota B series, so power is important. Like any new line, you need to make sure you have a good warranty. I don't doubt the quality of the Kioti's, but new lines are subject to re-calls from time to time.

That sounds like a damn good deal. In have been quoted L3130hst with la723 loader and a bh90 backhoe 16'' bucket industial tires for $24,500. Think its high let me know

Are you looking for a RFM or a MMM. For Mid mount, you would be best to talk to a Kubota dealer. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive RFM, a KingKutter XB48, or a KingKutter 54" would work well. The XB line from KingKutter fit these tractors better than the standard line.

i agree Ken. I spoke to a dealer yesterday that sells both kubota & deere. When he heard my story he said the same thing. He knows mills well & siad he would not have taken no for an answer. he also siad he doesnt blame me for being disgrunted with deere. looks like i will be trading for a kubota 3430.
