I farmed for many years. I would not have a tractor without brakes to steer. Many times a heavy load on the back requires brakes to steer effectively. I also doubt that it wears the brakes out since anyone who has used brakes to steer knows that you barely have to touch the brakes to cause the front to move when there is a load on the back. This is obviously a battle of preference over JD and Kubota.

My tractor says Mitsubishi on it,but the indentifying label on the side of transmission has two numbers.<br> The one on top says MT1800D & the one right under the MT1800D says ST1840. So is this a<br> Mitsubishi or Satoh. I have tried to get manuals for the ST1840 & can't find them anywhere.I did get<br> a Mitsubishi manual that covers about 6 tractors but not a MT1800D.Also all the tractors in there<br> show 2-3 cylinders. I have a Mitsubishi MT-180HD 4WD tractor with rear turf tires and traditional herringbone cleat tires in the front. The front tires need replacement. My question is to replace with the aggressive tread or move over to turf profile in the front? Will this change the 4WD traction ? I use the tractor mainly for mowing and have a snowblower (front mounted) for blacktop driveway snow removal.

More times than not,, you'll find that the no name scraper blade that cost 189.99 is a piece of crap. There are always exceptions to this, I sell a scraper blade made by Southern which is inexpensive and very strong. I would recomend it to anyone.

My TC33D does not smoke at all. I only have 27 hours on it at this time though.<br>The retail price on my New Holland was around $19000 with a loader. My local dealer has been a great help throughout the buying and testing process. I know from past experience that my dealership will bend over backwards to please their customers. As for factory parts, I hope I won't need too many, if you know what I mean.I am thouroughly satisfied with my TC33D.

I'M going to look a 1972 John Deere 820. Motor has just been rebuilt new paint good tires. Person is asking $5500. Any known things I should be looking for to be wrong on this model? I am looking for a set of pallet forks to use on my LA481 loader in place of the bucket. I looked at the Woods model 24 for a skid-steer loader and it suits my needs, but it is rather pricey. I noticed a similar set in the Northern Tools catalog at a much better price, but I need to know if the forks are removeable as they are on the Woods. Does anyone out there have the forks from Northern? If so can the forks be removed from the mounting plate and easily re-mounted, and what do you think of the quality? Thanks in advance.

1999 JD790, 4wd, turf, mid/rear pto, series 70 loader, 513 rotary mower, 10 hours, about 20 months warranty left. Since I bought it I can't sell it as new, but 10 hours is like new. Kim - when I moved into my farm 3 years ago there was a big box in the garage, which sat there for 2 years. One day I opened it up, and there was a brand new ROPS, with seatbelt and all hardware, for the tractor the previous owner had. Apparently it wouldn't fit in the garage with the rops on, so they left it off. I think it is from an early 1980's Allis-Chalmers ( or Deutz-Allis) 2015 or 2020, a midsize tractor about as big as a Ford 6000. If you can figure out a way to get it, you can have it. Maybe with some brackets welded on it would go. I live near Syracuse, New York.<br>Paul

Assuming you are asking about B7200HST:<br>1. maybe a bit high, but perhaps warranted by low hrs and condition, has hydro + 4WD?<br>2. you might get away with it, owner's manual says the limit for rotary mower on rear with 1 blade is 42
