I THINK IT IS 97'. I PLAN TO USE IT TO PUT IN AND MAINTAIN 5 ACRE LAWN. ALSO TO ASSIST IN BUILD A POLE BARN AND PUTTING IN A FENCE. DO YOU THINK THAT IT WILL WORK ALRIGHT OR SHOULD I LOOK BIGGER. THANKS

I was wondering if anyone could give me your impression of the hydraulics on these tractors. It appears on the TS354C that the Hydraulic pump is PTO driven. I am only going to be using this tractor to run a 6 ft hog and a tedder.

it will do the job but as i said befor i do not like the tc 35 do to the lack of torqe. if you bog it down it takes a little to come back up to speed. Our dealership dose not even stock them for that reason the 40 is not that much more of an investment i'd advise you check it out. in normal use super steer is not needed byut if you get the mmm it is defenitly nice, and we have not had any problems with them.

i'm in Elizabethton.
you can get a wiring harness that plugs to that extra plug by the seat for rear work lights part number TD060-39910 i price online i think it was about $6.50 or so. i'm not sure if this wire is hot all the time or on switch, i bought a servise manual off ebay, i'll look it up and let you know. give me a hollar if you need any info from manual.

i like the stats on the 4330 better pto is 540 at 2440 vs 2640 on hst. i beleive the 4330 is a better tractor and you won't find any diff in using both engines are rated 146.2ft/lb torque.

Since this will be your first tractor it might be a good idea to get brochures on both of them and then go down the specification list to see where they're different. It's a good way to get an education.

the jx is a tn and the jxu is a tl. they are built in italy. well i looked to day and we have actually sold alot more than 50 since they came out a few years ago it is some where over one hundred between the two stores.

well i dont own a nh tractor i just work on them every day. and you wont sound like a putz your spending that kind of money for something your alowwd to make last minute changes. ags are really going to mar up your yard.

84" is a little big for that tractor stick with a one pice unit and get an anti scalp roller. you really dont want the mower swaying behind you so the solid adjustable licks are the way to go.

Tractors that have the battery mounted in front of the radiator sometimes develop corrosion problems due to battery out-gassing. When I rolled my tractor one of the battery caps came off and acid dumped everywhere, so I had to replace the battery. I mentioned this problem to the dealer and pic 18 shows what they came up with. That should fix it.

I just built a 3000sq ft house and all of the fottings were dug with my BX22. It also dug the pads for the patio's 3, and the garage 3 car. I have also dug several hundered feet of water line trench. It will do what you want but not fast. It would take 5 to 8 housrs to dig 150ft by 14in deep depending on how hard the ground is. I like mine because it is small and a lot more manuverable than some of the larger CUTS.

John Deere makes a bottle holder for the larger row crop tractors under part # AL156731 for $32.40. Not sure if this will fit your 970 but you could check with your local Deere dealer and see what they can come up with.

The Kubota's are indeed very nice and dependable tractors. What I think I like most about the 4000 Ten Series John Deere's is the extra (at least percieved on my part) room on the operator's station for us full figured guys and the separate forward and reverse pedals. I am not a bit fan of the pull knob engaged pto but I can live with it. Depending on personal tastes and preferences I would think which ever tractor choosen would make a very happy owner.

Jonathan, the house and cottage are mine, the farm (all owned) belongs to myself and 4 other family members. The golf courses are customers.

I have several businesses, along with you I too wear the steel ring but I don't work in that field. My main business is a contracting company which primarily builds golf courses, I also develop land.

Everyone in the family flies. It is at times handy, sometimes not. Family events look more like fly-ins. My parents 50th wedding anniversary caused so much air traffic in the area that several people called the DOT to complain.
