Hello,

I just looked at a 4115 with loader a couple weekends ago...
It was a private seller... 2003... with just 35 hours... and for 13,500... Like New... I ended up buying a Kubota...

He lives close to Morse Rd. off wagner rd. TRACTOR: 2003 John Deer 4115, 410 bucket, 36 hours, 24HP diesel. $13,900. (614)332-5941

If it only does it when three point is all the way up, It sounds like you are putting the system in relief. Have your dealer check the adjustment.

check out this link. should be able to buy close to these prices. about 22,800. have you looked at a 4330hst? engine torque is the same, same engine.pto is 540 at 2440 ,gst is 2550 and all other hst are 2640, i like not cranking wide open for pto speed.4330hst sould be about 500 less with same loader. i don't think you could tell a 43 from a 46 blindfolded. had dealers tell me you can't tell between 31 and 34 only 3 ftlbs torque differance there, most arround here don,t even stock the 34's.

Well, I took my tractor in to the dealer to get some broken wires repaired under the tractor that caused the tractor to be stuck in 4WD. While it was there I asked them to adjust the rockshaft arms so that they lifted higher so I could mount/dismount the backhoe without forcing the bucket into the ground to get the LPins in.

Needless to say, they hadn't adjusted the rockshaft arms. The mechanic said there was nothing wrong, he just used the outriggers to force the backhoe into position so he could put the LPins in. I told him the owners manual said the dealer should adjust the rockshaft mechanism so that the LPin holes line up if it doesn't lift high enough.

The mechanic told me he had gone to JD school, and at the school they told him the 4000 series tractors had this problem with mounting the backhoe, and that he didn't think adjusting the rockshaft mechanism to go higher was the right thing to do. That they are very tricky - and don't have much residual distance to work with before they hit the stop.

I pressed him a couple of times on the issue but I'm not going to ask a mechanic to do something he doesn't feel comfortable doing. So looks as though I will just have to go through an extra step in mounting/diswmounting the backhoe. I don't do it that often, its a minor inconvenience.

A box blade is used for leveling ground, it would not be a consideration for removing stumps! Once the stumps are out and you want to fill and level they are great!!
As for the stumps, if they are small, (you said 2"), I have heard of someone who used a single shank subsoiler and went around the roots and them removed them faily easily. (He pulled his out with a chain after using the subsoiler). BUT, you need to be very careful about catching a root and rolling the tractor. You must go very slow and use extreme caution. If they have heavy roots, don't even attempt this process. I don't recommend this process, I am just sharing information. Good luck!

Well, saw my tractor at the dealer today. They fixed the problem. It did turn out to be the pulled wires underneath the tractor. The 2 wires pulled out of a plug that they couldn't get from JD so they bypassed the plug and hardwired the connection. Not a preferred solution but it works. And there was no charge except for pickup and delivery fee.

i,ve seen alot of you buying or tinking about buy a tractor from a dealer that is far away. yes the price might be good but what are you going to do when you have a problem and need warenty work done. If you buy a tractor MOST times you will only be able to get that dealer to do the warrenty work on that tractor. Your local dealer will probly tell you sorry aabout your luck you should have bought it from us. pick up and delivery are not covered buy nh warrenty. if your dealer tells you that it is covered then it is comming out of his pocket. And might say he never told you that when the time comes for repairs. so buyer beware!!!!

Better yet, take a look at the wheel base. In order for the Kubota to turn tighter it is shorter and you would not easily get a 72" wide deck underneath it.

To do one with suspension you would have to move to the rear. Try a universal high back as the mounts that are under the seat are quite workable.

I recently purchased a Yanmar tractor at an estate sale. Owner had sanded down tractor to paint before he died and I can't tell what model I have. The only Serial number (I hope it's the S/N) I see is a number on the engine block (very hard to read) that looks something like 2TL00 01375014. Can someone help me determine what model I have? It seems, then, that if the newer implements are being made to I-Match specs that JD (and thus Frontier) are moving in the direction of making most of their stuff I-Match compatible. That's good news indeed!

i figured it would be a little heavy a fell dose not create a good ballast or not as good as front wieghts filling the front tires is a good idea. do you have a front wieght bracket or are you hanging then on the bumper?

I'm looking at a JD rotary cutter brochure that has all the specs. Both decks are 3 mm thick, which I believe is 10 gauge or mighty close. The skirt is 1/4" just like the woods.
