I have sine been able to find a 4110 with fel, mmm and weight box and quick mount hitch for 15890.... I was sure that this dealer would let th used one go for 11500, but he moved only to 13300 and thats if they didnt have to do anything to the tractor before selling it to me. I told him to foget it! THEY MUST THING PEOPLE ARE STUPID!.

Also it has been stated before, most people are using the tiller instead of plows. I want to make a few small food plots up in the woods and a good size garden.. <br>

dealer told me the the quick worked with the ballast box, the 48" befco box scraper but not the rotary spreader. and yes it is a 3 point hitch spreader, so base on that info i just assumed that i would have to remove the hitch to install the spreader because of 5 days of straight rain i havent looked at the tractor since monday afternoon. it looked like the i match was bolted on so i assumed i would have to remove the 3 bolts and then attach the spreader. keep in mind i have never used a 3 point hitch before i am a rapidly learning rookie.

I paid $21,500 for an L4330 with the L853 bucket and R4 tires. The R4 tires are a cost adder so that would put my and your price quote about the same.<br>

I forgot to mention my tractor is a GST model. I don't know which one your quote was for but, the GST is another cost adder.

Hi. I just arranged for delivery of a new NH TC24D, for $19,700 TLB. I was thinking of going with a NH TC29 or 33D, but decided that the 24 will better suit what I have going on right now (landscape detail work). So, I had a thought - the extra $4000.00 or so it would have cost me to go with the 29 or 33 will go a long way towards purchasing a second tractor, one that is just bare bones but solid and powerful, maybe 35hp or so. I would probably want a FEL on it also. Any opinions about cheap, dependable work horses out there, Chinese or Grey or ???? I'm not too mechanically adept, but if need be, I'm sure I could get by. Thanks.<br>

I am not sure either, and don't take my word as gospel, I think I read on another net a month or so ago. of two NH dealers answering this exact question. And if memory is correct, they both said don't even think about it. It won't work..

Will the 14LA loader will fit on a TC29D

Thanks for the post...I'm still broke, and therefore haven't paid Dennis the right to read all of it (!), but let me know your thoughts if you hear back from the company. If their warranty is any good, I might try it, but I hate spending MORE for this unit than the average water softener, if the thing isn't going to work for the long haul.

FYI<Purchased a Century last summer has 95 hours on it now, only trouble I dad was a leak on the front loader lift cylinder,this was due to a sliver of metal left in from the maching process and it kept the seal from seating correctly, looked at Branson for a long time, Century is built stronger, heavyer more traction to the ground means more power, front end loader is a hoss, lifted my neighbors Kubota so he could change the tires. What do I do with this 4wd tractor, ANYTHING THAT I WANT TO. Tough decision but I am glad I went with the Century. Ps The engine Kuje now manufators Cummins little engine line

Good point. My primary goal here is to actually get a list of things a tractor can do. For instance, I had no idea you could get a granular spreader for a tractor until I visited a site the other day. I doubt if I'd want to buy one, but it's good to know they exist (the little spreader for lawnmower has performed faithfully for years!). Also, what do some implements do? I've seen "yard rakes"--a row of rakes made from spring steel--but what are they used for?

As for my plans, I plan to to reseed my lawn. what tools will I need? A tiller? Box blade or standard blade? Etc. I also want to "terrace" an area in my yard, thus I'll need a FEL, and....????? I'll definitely be mowing--not just "bush-hogging", so I'll need a finishing mower. Any rec there for a good one? Do they have a tendancy to "lift" off the yard if you go over a hill? I'll be doing general trash/junk/dirt moving, thus the FEL again, and I'll be doing a garden with my wife (tiller, rippers? disc harrows? (what are those used for, anyway?).

This is a general synopsis--feel free to ask more ?'s if needed. Thanks for all the input!

I recently took over care of my grandfathers estate. He has a kubota b6100e, i need to change the oil and was wondering if anyone knows how much oil it requires..it takes 15w30..i know that, also i need to change the fuel filter because i think its clogged because my engine is running a little lean (i see white smoke sometime coming from exhaust) if i change that filter do i need to bleed the injectors too or just up to the fuel filter if i shut the fuel down there. THank you in advance

The lowest price I can remember hearing was $14.9K but anything under $16K is good. This assumes you are buying just the T/L/B and no other attachments.

I have 120 acres north of Oklahoma City, bermuda hay pasture from which I bale 200-400 round bales each year. My neighbore trades his custom hay work for a portion of my hay, so I will not depend on the 5030 to do that job . I do need a stout FEL for levy work in my bottom land. I.m told the 5030 should handle this. I would like to find a log splitter for use off the PTO.

So now I'm befuddled. Ran the Ford about 8 hours this weekend running a Landpride overseeder and the gauge never got above halfway. Go figure. Best Guess is sending unit ( cheap and easy), then thermostat ( sort of a pain but still cheap) then the gauge. Or forget about it.

I got a couple of used 5 ton truck bodies from a friend who bought 3 trucks but just wanted the trucks not the boxes.

I placed them on concrete blocks to keep them 2' up off the ground. The bodies had been meat delivery units so they had steel floors and big hole where the reefer unit had been. I made a heavy steel mesh grate to cover the openings and a hood over that again to keep out rain. The back doors got a similar treatment, but at the bottom instead of the top. Then they got a coat of black paint.

The wood gets stacked in 4'x4'x4' (ish) steel mesh bins which are then loaded into the boxes. The wood is 'aged' for at least one full year, the date of loading gets put on the door with grease pencil. The black box in the sun all summer creates tremendous heat, that 'bakes' the wood dry, the top and bottom vents make for very good ventilation using only convection currents, on a hot day there is quite a draft at the upper vent.Each box holds a little over 6 bush cords and the pallet boxes make handling the wood with forks on the FEL a breeze.

As wood is needed it gets moved one box at a time to the house (garage), shop, or customers for burning.

I believe battery chargers used for large battery banks in solar and diesel generator applications are 'smart' and have a conditioning phase where they slightly overcharge the batteries to ensure they are all as similar as possible.
I don't know if the trickle charging of individual batteries in the bank can achieve the same results, but I don't think it will hurt anything. I wonder after a number of discharge/charge cycles if the 'off' batteries revert to their original condition.
