I had a hino truck a fw years ago - best truck I ever owned. Are hinomoto tractors related to Hino Trucks?

Kshwumm; I put up a 36 X 80 tarp shed five years ago. Got it thru Sioux Steel, I don't remember the cost now but it was tons less than a Morton. There's quite a few of them in our aeria now, and I haven't heard of any problems with them so far. I uaed new RR ties from the lumber yard to sit the hoops on, that gave me an additional 4 ft. of overhead clearnce. At first there was no property tax on them, the county considered them a portable building, but of course they changed their mind since then and taxes them, but it isn't much compared to a conventional building. Another little side benefit is there is no place for the sparrows to roost and decorate you nice wax job on the tractor. Frank.

We got our 7510 a few weeks ago w/rigid ROPS (B7510HSD-R)because they had none on the lot with foldable. We paid for foldable and they said they would swap-out when available, no big deal. In the mean time I had heard from a couple 'reputable' dealer that the entire ROPS assy is to be installed per foldable or rigid. The serial numbers should dictate this. <br>

After having it 3 days they have returned my tractor with the foldable ROPS on it. Same serial number on base unit of ROPS, just stuck a foldable section on top of it I guess.<br>

Frankly I don't see this as an issue but could liability issues come into play down the road? <br>

The part number on base (lower) part of ROPS is SFB24-A.<br>

There have been a ton of issue with these guys and now that this ROPS issue is over I can sever my ties with them and inform Kubota accordingly. It's a great product. I hate to see it in the hands of such boneheads.<br>

Yep, I've seen this warranty on page 106. It's the engine, tire, and battery warranties. The product warranty statement (first paragraph) states that "Product warranty is provided as part of John Deere's support program for custromers who operate and maintain their equipment as described in this manual." It does not describe the product warranty. So you have to count on the web page warranty for your product warranty statement. Unfortunately the web page warranty has an effective date which is after the purchase date of my tractor. So I still have to track down a statement of the product warranty that was in effect at the time I purchased my tractor. I know I am being anal about this. But it irks me that I have to hunt down the effective product warranty description at the time I purchased my tractor. Probably will never be a problem unless you are dealing with New York lawyers.

How about some more info. Like a brand and model. Or better yet a picture. If i look at it i can tell you how to put it back together. But most tillers have 4 blades per wheel. Two left and two right. Each wheel has the blade set back 1 " further than the next wheel. Like a reel mower. So only 2 or 4 blades are applying pressure at one point. My B7800 owners manual also has very good instructions. If memory serves me, the dealer was supposed to review these instrructions with you at the time of Drop-off/Pick-up. Check your manual again in the maintenace section. According to my service interval chart, the trans fluid and filters are supposed to be changed after the first 50 break-in hours.

I bought a trailer (as in tractor/trailer) instead of a storage container and use 1/2 of it to store my Kubota 3830 with ROPS, loader, and rear attachment. It is 45' long x 8' wide x 9.5' ceiling. No room to work but plenty for storage. About $1800 delivered - instant building. The dealer here in TN has dozens to choose from.

I got an aluminum trailer instead of steel to avoid rust problems and put it on five or six PT 4x4s resting on gravel. They remove the wheels so it is ground-level access. The floor is laminated hardwood on steel beams and plenty strong enough for the tractor. Locks securely and keeps the tractor out of the weather.

BTW, I don't think the standard steel shipping containers are tall enough to take the tractor with the ROPS raised.

Surcharges, costs added to published mill prices are now at about $120/cwt, or $240/ton. I am in the structural steel buisines and have been living this pain daily. They have also published shipping surcharges to deal with the rising cost of fuel. Surcharges are published almost weekly, and are assesed at time of delivery.

Some manufacturers, like the auto companies, have long term contrats with the mills. Flat roled products are a somewhat different comodity than structural shapes, because the scrap content is different. But wait and see how long these contracts hold up. Buy now if you are going to buy. It is not expected to get better any time soon.

I was looking at the 2001 3500 Dodge Ram the other day that had a straight axel rather than twin A frames. Was this a option for heavy loads?

I can see no value to having wheels if you have hydraulic 3ph, but I have never had one with wheels, I would recommend buying the heavy duty. I just use the position control to determine how low or high I want to rake Good Luck

All the more reason to suspect that it is a defect that has slipped through. I am sure that the drive lines get abused by people in your area. I believe I wrote that this is very rare from the TP prospective in my first post.

Lakeman, by driving on it, but not driving on the middle it will naturally crown and if the material that it is made from is course enough the water will drain off to the sides. However if the contrator compacted it level, you could always rent a landscape rake, angle it to push the material to the middle from both sides, then make one pass in the middle with the rake straight.

I filled mine with scrap steel parts...my thoughts were that I could empty if I wanted to sell or transport. Use an I match hitch set up for quick coupling. Also scrap steel may be heavier than concrete but don't really know.

I'd highly recommend a BX23 for your work. I don't think you would want to get rid of it after a year of working with it.
