Code3: If you are looking for an older Ford 2000---my buddy has one. We are located just north of Monroe, MI southwest of Detroit. It has a factory loader, Ford-brand 8' scraper blade and a King Cutter 6' York rake. It has large turf tires on the rear. No ROPS though. The loader pump (located out front of the radiator) just went out a few months ago went out (makes a lot of noise)--cost for new pump $300-$400. Runs good, doesn't burn oil or smoke. Was owned by a local college. Can deliver if need be (but you should look at it first) $4000 takes all (plus delivery). Call me anytime at 734 782-2125 Sorry no pix available.

I sold my mid-mount and got a rear finish mower. The mid mount was a pain in the neck to deal with, the rear deck works great. As discussed in a different thread, it seams the rear mower does not load the engine the way the mid mower did. There is still some debate as to wether that is true.

I like the rear deck. Not sorry at all I switched.

As I lay around the house recovering from back surgery I realize how fortunate my wife and I are, to be American, to be employed, and to be insured. Yet, all of the "good" benefits hang in a precarious balance of job security. As an aerospace engineer I've recently watched as a significant portion of my life's work went into the trash bin of military politics with the demise of the RAH-66 Comanche. It was to be an "all American" manufactured aircraft, now it is just so much history.

Adding insult to injury, my employer has an insurance company monitor sick time, they affix an amount of time for each type of surgery: they say five weeks recovery time for my operation, the doctor says ten. I had to get written permission from the insurance company to be out seven and a half weeks, well short of what the surgeon wanted, and well within the amount of sick days I've earned. The reason? The high cost of my benefits package. The package, earned through a quarter century of excellent service, has to be withdrawn over a period of five years until there are no paid benefits at all.

The corporation's position is clear: lean manufacturing and a desire to end paid benefits to maximize profit will force me into early retirement, and buy the services I perform from some other source. Not necessarily a foreign source, they do hire many domestic "job-shops," with far less efficiency and zero loyalty, to do the same work. Is it any wonder that I refuse to let go of the family landscape business? My employer wants to "rid" itself of the majority of workers and only maintain a cadre of supervisors, managers, and directors (these special employees will have paid benefits) and who will manage the out-sourced workers, be they professional or skilled labor. They have no plan to stop manufacturing American products, only to end the traditional American employer-employee relationship. In the not too distant future, paid health insurance and other such benefits will be a thing of the past, and the wonderful era of the American worker, like the "Made In America" product, will eventually also be a thing of the past.

Can't help you much on prices.
For several years Kioti used Rhino for their backhoe supplier.
I run a Rhino 85 w/subframe on my DK 35, that works real nice(see my pictures 5, 15 and 19)
The Rhino 65a with subframe should work on a CK 20.
I believe Kioti is currently making their own backhoes with the Kioti KB2365.

Art brings up a good point about compation, I read somewhere when tractor first started being used alot of farmers refused to use them because fear of compaction, it turned out they were doing more compacting with their mules and horses then the farm tractors of that time (Farmall F20, Allis Chalmers WC etc. or even earlier).

Based on the size and depth you are talking about, I would say the BX23 would do the job well. You will be surprised at how handy it is to have a small BH around your place! The '23 is so compact you can maneuver it in almost anyplace.

After a bit of head-scratching, I ended up bolting two tow hooks to the top edge of the FEL just in front of the lift arms. These are standard 10K tow hooks and are held on by a couple of 1/2" bolts.

There are bolt-on hooks that use three bolts and thsee would also work well.

A 3/8" chain type hook mounted in the middle of the FEL sounds like a good idea. I'm thinking of reinforcing the bucket with some 3/8" flat bar and then attaching the hook. A bolt-on setup might be the way to go.

One Kioti CK20HST with R-4's(Industrial tires) and a lk120 FEL w/ 54" bucket. (Rear tires will be filled with RIMguard Noncorrosive liquid for wt.)<br>

watts= volts x amps

you want to run a blender thru an inverter
the blender draws 4.0 amps (info on blender dataplate)
it is a 120vac blender (off your kitchen counter)
it will take 480 watts of power use it (120 x 4.0)
that is ....once it's up and running
surge wattage may be 6.0 - 8.0 amps

as it's running you throw a frog in there
will "bog down" and draw a bit more before it levels out

when buying inverters go big

2 batteries at 6volts in series will be a better 12v source than 1 at 12v

most of these terms are general

i have a slip clutch on my tiller. Its worth every penny. I bought it for $166 used. The guy i bought it from paided something like $1400 for it. Now i did have to bring it back from the dead. Since this guy left it out side for 10m years. But he had tilled 3 acres with it and never used it again.

WildMike, The local NAPA Parts store carries the 85 Plus and if they are out I can get it from a gun shop down the road. It is great stuff. have you read the info on the web site?
