Dr. Brandson..L48 tlb is a very nice machine, nice choice. I would buy the Kubota oil as recomended by the dealer. Chances are your not going to add between changes, so if you buy by the case, a few filters, some hydro oil a gallon or so and (some grease, most important every 8 hours for hoe and loader,) you shouldn't have to go back too often. One thing about the L48 is the ones with the self leveling bucked don't like to back drag, they want to level off. Hope they told you you could get it with, with out, or with a new style that doesn't have the problem.

I have the older 2150 gear model. Great tractor. You will have several aftermarket options for a loader, not sure a Kubota one is still available. You need to factor in 3-4000 dollars for a new one. Make sure you are still interested at that total price, but you will have alot for your money when you are done.

that is not a problem with any tractor of new holland brand as for being a warrinty issue i dought it tc25 went out of production over a year ago if it is not under warrenty i would suggest a tade on a new modle that is a very pricy repair

the hardest part about putting the retome on is taking off the rear tire the whole thing comes in a kit with step by step instuction. it is a 3 on a 1 -10 scale

they are not lying new holland chages protions specs like you change your socks some have them and some dont the only way to know if yours is supposed to is to look a the sieral number breaks in the parts system

personally ive never seen a bad switch on a 33 or a 29 but the fuses do pop every once in a while and you don't replace them with a relay you replace them with a circut braker

Iam looking at a 3130 (03)w/la723 loader ,bh90 backhoe.The tractor has 156hrs. on it. Its 4wheel drive hydro.Backhoe has a 18' bucket&loader has a 72' bucket.Very clean ,is $22,500. a good price.

All good points, If I may add one from exp. Renting is fine
but there are some considerations. You have to do it on their time table as opposed to yours. The weather does not always cooperate, after you have given up your weekend or week off. Or it breaks from everyone beating the hell out of it. Then you get to argue with the rentee that you didn't get to use it.
It is nice to have in the shed when you have a few hours to play(I mean work.)

Shibaura's do not use a positive ground. 3 points that have electric over hydraulic solenoids have a common problem with bad amplifier cards.

Dee, best of luck selling the tractor and congratulations on getting your old truck bought back. Did you get the 6 speed manual transmission this time? The Cummins 325/600 is supposed to be one heck of a towing monster with the manual transmission. Hope this truck is the charm! ;o)
