I'm not sure there's an easy answer for the charger question but maybe others have some experience. Two batteries in parallel would half the load resistance. In theory that may blow the charger. However, the charger may have a limiter, or high loads may drag down the output voltage. It might be good to contact the charger manufacturer and get their recommendation.

Yanmar built many of the early JD compacts for JD and may still do so. Similarly, Shibaura built tractors for Ford.

If yours is a model similar to one of the JD tractors then there is some potential for obtaining parts through JD. It is sort of a research problem though since all parts may not be exactly the same.

You might look to see if it's covered in any of the I&T manuals. A long time poster here (lsheaffer) has said many times that he can obtain English manuals for some Japanese tractors. An e-mail for his company is in his profile.

Oh yeah. Lots of knotted pants around tax time. If I only would have been known as iron pants when I was in then I could anneal my but to relieve some stress. Never had the rank for the iron pants thing though. I'm with you on this one too Chief. Lots of people could use some but annealing in these modern times I think and too bad I missed your humour.

Don't believe the 3720 is a Jinma Harry, I looked at one last month. It's a green four banger, around 30 hp I think. The manuf label on the fender was stamped with such tiny letters I couldn't read it. But if I had to venture a guess, I'd say Taishan.

I don't believe they sell 3720s anymore. Matter of fact, I'm pretty sure the John Deere lawsuit cured them from selling green Chinese tractors all together. I hear they've gone exclusively with a rebadged Long. But they should have a moral responsibility to maintain parts for the 3720s that they DID distribute. Their website and email address have been inaccessible since last year. But hopefully they'll answer one of those phone numbers.

Like was said in a prior post a CUT will allways have good resale. I just got a new 4410, I traded a 2000 model 4300 on it, I got a good trade and my trade in (4300) was sold within days. Frank.

Peters, I didn't see that Link you had posted, good information, Infact it even got a lot attention from my BIL who works at DCX North America. I guess several of the employees in his unit have been showing intrest in the D-Liberty but not much info is out, even to the employees and dealers.

I would not cut it close before spraying with roundup I find it works much better if you get good coverage on the weeds or grass

My boyfriend is interested in getting a lawn tractor for our new place. Of our farmer friends one swears by anything international, the other says john deere has the best rating. We would like to know what others think on easy use, reliability, and upkeep. Does one break down more often, is up keep more expensive on one than the other.....<br>

The tractor (B7100 HST-D 684) has low hours (695), serial # 63***, turf tires, 60 inch belly mower, 4 wheel drive, 4 foot box blade, safety bar, well maintained with all service records. Also newer 16 foot trailor. Any idea of price to ask for it? Someone has offered her $5000 for tractor, trailor & box blade. Is this fair? Thanks for any help!!

It drives me crazy when I read a post on anouther tractor board (like deere or kubota) here at tractor point and alot of the other manufacturers come up with these crazy numbers for their tractors. How do you compare a price (with out doing alot of homework) between a TC40 <br>
(DAH 40 horse) and a compareable deere, Am I missing something here? Or are they afraid of posting what the tractors horse power is related to the price? he he LOL

The "CEO" of house hold finance's has already approved the C.A.R.R. for the implimintation of finding a good place in our Garage for it if I want.
That may all change though when the impliments I am buying for the new Blue machine start filling up the corners (and when she see's what a rotary cutter, disk, tank sprayer,snow thrower, and a few containers of wax costs) LOL

larryv, It may depend on what you want to do. I had a Bearcat 70554 chipper/shredder and now have a jinma chipper. In my opinion, power feed and blower are important, and I don't miss the shredder at all. I found the previous unit very frustrating and enjoy the current one. Consistent with the other input, I did use shredder more than chipper with Bearcat, but in my case that was in large part because feed was easier into shredder than into chipper.
