Brokenarrow, I really don't know anything about Fimco brand sprayers. But I have had lots of experience with Roundup, so I'll just share a few thoughts. Roundup is a nonselective herbicide, meaning it kills any plant it contacts other than roundup ready soybeans, corn, cotton, etc. I really don't know how low you can go on volume and still have roundup be effective, but using 60 lbs. of pressure in even the slightest breeze is going to let the product drift farther than you think and will kill things you did'nt want dead. To be safe you need lots of volume, a coarse spray pattern nozzle, and low pressure to prevent drift. Most farm supply stores have low drift high volume nozzels basicly intended for roundup, 2-4-D, and other such herbicides that can drift onto adjacent things, no matter how well equiped you are never spray when the wind can carry the product toward another plant you don't want damaged or killed. I'd have to dig out some spray nozzel charts, but I dont think a 15 gal. tank with the correct nozzels will get you very far. You may have a nice neighbor lady who brings over a fresh apple pie when you plow her drive, but if you smack her prize petunias with roundup things may change. Enjoy the day, Frank.

Figure out what it would cost to have someone do it for you and then calulate from Kens numbers. If you are not in love with the machine after 2 years sell the thing and you will still be money in the bank.

I think the rear pto shaft on my TC25D (385 hrs.) is broken. It appears to be off to one side, the seal is broken and fluid is running out. Has this been a problem with Boomers?

Hi Jay,
How's things going? I took a wild guess at 8% and really don't know any numbers. This started as some continuously seem to beat down anything that is not blue/green/or orange.. these Korean?Indian and other tractor makers I think are here to stay, whether one wants to admit it or not. Dealers may change, districts may a change a little, but overall tractor companies are here to stay and we just have to accept that fact.. More fish in the sea other than the same basic three colors..

$750.00 is the price Deere has on their web page, but that just includes cylinders and hoses. The kit requires the tractor to have the hydraulic diverter and remotes.

Realman, Walmart carries one for about $80-90 that is good for 700 W cont or 1400 W surge that you just clip to your battery post. If it did what you wanted you could then hardwire it and have it with you at all times if you could get it mounted where no rain could get on it. It would be nice when you were broke down on the back 40/400 ect and could look up 2 or 3 banks of 250 watt work lamps.

The 410 loader setup was a dealer supplied and suggested package. 61" was provided after scrutiny from myself and their expertise in the matter..I didnt specifically request the HD bucket, it just came with the package..<br>

Here we go again with a subject near and dear to my heart, the DOT. On one stop I had the transport lock out of the boom so I could lower the bucket on the "A" frame of the tongue. The DOT guy told me it was O.K. so long as the swing lock was in place, which of course it wasn't, sooooo...you get the idea.

"D" you are correct. My dealer, a very patient and cooperative family owned business, took the time to physically compare the 46/47 and 48 hoe buckets. They are very different. The only way they could give me a 9" for the 47 was to take a larger bucket, plasma cut off the sides, trim, and re-weld. It just isn't worth it.

Amsoil has been selling 100:1 mix 2 cycle synthetic oil for several decades.

I must admit I was always too chicken to mix it that lean.

I have large SUV all season radials on the rear of my 4115.

If you do some measurements I'd bet you could find a similar size tire at a large tire store.

Thanks, Mark. DUH! What was I thinkin' (drinkin')? Yes, the valve is attached to the FEL on the BX22, not the tractor.
