I talked with a dealer about a year ago and he stated he had not had one DK back for waranty repair. I believe the tractor is comparable quality to other CUT's on the market.

I replaced my seat on my 750. Unfortunately, the standard sprung seats will not fit on these tractor. I bought a JD Yellow seat from Northern tool and modified the mounts to fit the bolt pattern. The JD replacement seat was the similar crummy Yanmar and double the price naturally.

I have a 4" manual feed on my L4310 (see my picture # 12) and it chews through anything I can put down the chute without a problem, the RPM's barely budge on big stuff, and it runs for hours and doesn't use much fuel compared to other tasks.

I have been at KIOTI all week and saw atleast 30 trucks load and leave and I can tell none of them had 2365 backhoes on them, Did you see the hoe mounted to the tractor or were they still on pallets? There is none anywhere in there Wilson plant.

Beagle, another thought to consider if you are in very sandy soil is not augering at all.

A friend of mine owns a good-sized fencing company and advocates merely driving longer poles in if the ground allows it.

He came and did a dog run for me here at the house, I live in an ancient river valley and the ground is pure sand for a LONG way down, they merely push posts true and plumb into the sand and string the wire up. They used 8' posts for a 4' high fence and it is as sturdy as any I have seen.

One big advantage is that there is nothing for the frost to heave up. The other thing is speed, although you do need to be careful with the alignment since the only way 'adjust' the posts is to pull & re-set them.

The computer geek who maintains our IT systems tipped me of a few years back to a little item to watch for. Some printers have print heads, some printers use ink cartridges which have a self-contained print head. By using the later type of printer you get a freshhead every time you change cartridges.

My printer, a HP Deskjet 895Cxi uses two cartridges, one tri-color, one black. It seems to work very well. I have even cut several color cartridges apart to examine them after they ran out and found that all 3 chambers were empty, although they are of different sizes, presumably to balance usage to quantity.

I have several empty cartridges and take them to a place in the mall when we go to town, they refill them while you wait for a couple of bucks each. I keep several full ones as spares, but only enough to do for a month or two at most.

You'd need an allowance for losses and I think AC motors are maybe around 90% efficient. The inverter would have to be able to handle the start up surge, which would be greater than current for the rated HP. Most motors have surge ratings.

Sure inverters work, solar power folks run their entire houses off them. A 2hp motor would be far beyond a tractor's alternator's capacity and would draw down the battery pretty fast.

When you look at the tractor with a backhoe look to see how close it is to the back of the tractor. The closer the pivot to the rear of the tractor the stronger the unit is. That is why the Kubota's are as good as they are, they don't require subframes that run under the tractor and reducing the ground cleareance or hindering the loading on and off trailers. This is why that anything much less then the Kubota units would be much less of a hoe. Clay digs hard at best and size and power are needed.

All right who gave out my age! I didn't realize my link was turned off for e-mails, I took care of that, I will only give retail pricing on the boards as I consider every deal between the customer and dealer. I've seen pricing that was on the boards that was below dealer cost for units and if they did buy it for that, chances are it was a mistake by the dealer. You fine folks get my two cents worth on the board for free and if you can put a value to it that is great. For what I've learned about how to assist people in the market for a compact tractor from this board, PRICELESS!!

I think a typical 2wd axle has an long pin with a 90-degree bend at the bottom for the wheel spindle and splines on the top for the steering linkage. There is an assortment of shims, spacers, thrust washers, seals and bearings along the pin as well as an upper and lower bushing. It'd be very good to have a parts diagram to know all the parts needed and their assembly order for sure. Manuals seem to be my favourite suggestion lately and I know that not real helpful.<br>

I think parts for the N's are fairly available from after-market sources and that might be easier than making bushings--especially if grease fittings are involved. I installed kingpins on a 60's Ford van using a rebuild kit. The kit contained a special reamer to ream both bushings to speced ID and also keep the bores in both bushings aligned. The ability to do that might be important. The kit also contained a driver for the new bushings but I had to rig up something to remove the old ones.<br>

Since the kit contained both new bushings, new pins and a reamer, there was no question of getting the right clearances. I'm not sure if new bushings on old pins would necessarily produce speced clearances. That might be a case for making your own bushings but the right clearances should be known.<br>

I think that the larger frame on the B-7800 would be an advantage with the 72" deck for mowing and with the three range transmission it does increase the working range when doing excavation work. These tractors are made to work and you will gain time over the smaller units without a doubt. The package you are descibing should be in the lower twenties.

If it's a 4wd you'll need to get tires that are a close match to the rolling circumferences of a factory front/rear set. Other than that most anything that fits on the rims should work. Wider tires may cause clearance problems on some tractors--fenders rear and steering components front. To see what's available, the link below goes to the Firestone ag tire site. There are other sites as well.

I doubt you;ll find rad parts at an automotive supplier. Unless it's a gray, a Yanmar dealer might help. There are companies around that can obtain parts from Japan.

The orange is no longer available...probably sold off. However, take a gander at eBay, item numbers 3803164977, and item number 3803174057. The first is a 1999 B21 TLB. Don't know about the second one, though looks to be about the same age or newer. Maybe one of these will "fit".<br>

Ncrunch32, I've found the same thing with both dealers too , but Keil will give me the low prices on spare parts than Adams . Adams will not deal with because I purchased the tractor from a upstate dealer (father in-law farm,JD dealer). And Adams is only 10 mins away from my house, so I drive Red Hook for parts

Dan, I'd be changing filters and oil first and then checking pressures if the problem still persists. Yours is one problem not many and it should be able to be found easily.

It think that they all are but it depends on the operator. Some advertise that they are and some don't. When you hear an engine racing up or dying out on power sut it off! Face it your going to have to walk to your fuel can! The Kubota's are not fuel thirsty and normally if you have a full tank and a five gallon spare for transporting you have enough for a good days work and then some!
