I was looking at that. I just emailed them for prices and shipping info. I was looking more to purchase the pieces myself and install on tractor. More satifaction and more learning. I just need education on valves and where to obtain pressure and return on my tractor.

The deeper you go in a confined space the more you will need the employ a bucket digging technique.

Basically it has you lowering your dipper stick into the hole with the bucket "wrist" cocked all the way out. Drive the teeth into the soil and run the bucket through its full travel arc to get a scoop of material and then pull it vertically out of the hole.

My ground is so hard in places that this is the only way I can penetrate the soil. Dragging the bucket around with the dipper stick and boom just makes a lot of noise.

I had a BX and the Rankin forks.

They work fine with the BX bucket as designed, in fact they attached more securely to the BX than to my Deere 4100.

Be aware that your already limited lift capacity in this model will be compromised even more. The forks weigh 90 pounds and will push your weight/balance envelope way forward.

You will still be able to pick up loads that weigh up to 300 pounds, at least in the lower half of your lift range.

You will need about 800 pounds of rear ballast to do it safely and maximum inflation pressure on all tires.

I got to see a BL4690B mounted up yesterday. Im impressed. Just for everyones information, the limiting bar sits laterally across the lower arms and is designed to lock the arms into the lowest position. The top link of the BH is massive. I sat on it and looked at it for about 15 minutes, I didnt get a chance to operate it though, and it seems at least as sturdy as the New Holland subframe mounted BHs that I was checking out the day before. My dealer strongly recommends the BL, even over the BH90, to most of his customers with compact tractors. He said the BH just feels unstable (when moving or transporting the tractor around) on all but the biggest compacts.
Anyway, I believe Ive made the decision that the 4690 is the way for me to go. I know there are alot of other options out there but I like the idea of sticking with a Kubota product and I know there is alot of support for the BH90, which also appears to be a very good BH, just a bit much for my needs and if I decide later on that I need the BH90, I can sell the BL to anyone with a 3PH and get the 90. Maybe Ill take the $1700 difference and buy that PHD and rear blade Ive been needing.

Concur on Stihl dealer. Have a great one in my area too. Honest advice, walk right up to the shop, ask a question, get it done now. Parts at the ready and get-it-back service. As to Stihl products they are well engineered with power curve beginning at low rpms. Really helps with reduce the noise during protracted periods of use. More often a blip of the throttle will do. Power at low rpm means less vibration as well. And they always, always start. Best feature for non professional users who may put equipment down for a week or two.

DRH1983; If you're in Cedar Rapids then I live about 20 mi. north of you. We do lots of road ditch, fence row and field waterway mowing in the summer. Sometimes due to wet weather or spring planting dutys We don't get to the mowing till the grass is quite big so at times the MX5 or the Land Pride 84 in rotary mower just about tax out the 4300 so thought maybe a few extra HP would'nt hurt. I traded the 4300 with 12/12 trans., mid pto, R4's for a basicly identical 4410. I don't have it yet, the last I knew it is to be built Mar. 12. I thought the dealer gave me a real fair trade, and there must be quite a demand for used ones. The dealer called within a few days after we traded to ask if he could show it to an interested party, they came later that day, the man bought it the same day. I traded with Rowley Equip., Rowley, Ia. They've allways treated me right and corrected any problems without a hitch. Frank.

I know what you mean, we burn a few big piles a year and get choked out by all the smoke. Keep an eye on the chippers forum, I'll post pics and a review when I get it going. It may be next week or even a little later since our local welder is backed up.

Have you ever read the original contract specs for the WW II jeep? The Gummint wanted something 4 wheel drive that would seat two, pull moderate loads up to 45 MPH and weigh less than 2000 pounds. <br>

With wartime considerations, they had to take what they got, about 800 pounds overweight, but the specs have always sorta stuck in my mind. <br>

My little RTV comes up a little short on the HP and top speed stats, but sure seems to fulfill the original intent.<br>

That tractor would easily bring $4000 around here with no implements. Especially if it is a diesel. Gasoline engine probably not quite as much.

I can't say which is best, I looked at a few and they all seemed good to me. I can say that the dealer I bought my Aggie (B2920) from said he sold 84 of them at the Minnesota State Fair (10 days) last year and if he averaged $1500 net (and I suspect he did better than that) per unit he did a lot better then I did!

I think being successful in the biz is how you deal with people more than which color you sell. I firmly believe that if you're good you'll be successful or find a way to be successful.

This has been a snowy year in Wisconsin and so far I like my little AgaCat more each time I use it, can't be beat for the money.
