I'm looking for any information about the current market value of a Ford 1910 4x4 with loader. It has a little over 400 hours on it and is in very good condition. Also has a number of implements, rear Snow blower, rear Mower, rear Blade, 3 bottom Plow, 2 row Disk, Cultivator and post hole auger.

GaleHawkins, you are just a hop skip and a jump up the road from me. I am near Dover, TN. I have seen these tractors in the Rural King in Clarksville. I here good and bad things about them but am not sure that I would buy one just yet. The jobs going overseas is very frustrating. I am fortunate in this respect in that there is very little chance that my past job or others like it will get shipped over seasea.......although the work frequently was shipped overseas and still is to this day. After 21 years of Army, I retired and my retirement gives me some flexibility to and autonomy from the highs and lows of the job market.

You are right about the quality control that gets lost between the different manufacturing processes from one manufacturer to another as I have heard about the problem even at the dealer level. Kubota just builds to a different drummer much like some other high end manufacturers that are in different areas such as cars and trucks or even stereo and TV. It doesn't mean that everyone will buy it or even like the product. Sometimes it's the dollar that might need to be spent or that they have to drive by another dealer to get ot that make or the Billboard size ads and radio announcer's pay needs to be justified. They do not make all components but the ones they do use seem right for them for longevity and durability while functioning. People will not go back to a dealer to many times if they feel they are being mistreated or disrespected no matter what they sell or have to offer. Treat people the way you want to be treated and it should make your life go easily! There will always be people out there to take advantage of it but you will sleep well with your choices.

ao, we have different sized tractors, but needs are needs. I bought a simple, basic rear blade for my GC2300 for $250. It's a Leinbach Line 5-footer. I would think you could easily handle a 6-foot or bigger(?). Mine has 3 positions each front and rear facing, which is handy. In hindsight (which seems to be how I learn a lot), I would have paid more for a blade with tilt and offset capability. We live and learn (hopefully)...

I would pay attention to what the manufacturer recommends for weights of oil in your area. The engines are all built differently and will last longer when certain care is given.

Different areas of the country may demand higher prices. A base tractor like he has, is only worth about $2,000 to $2,500 in my area. You may get a little more for it if you are willing to wait for a collector or someone that falls in love with it.

My MF135 needs paint bad but is equipped with a loader with bucket and front blade, back hoe and loaded tires. That combination is worth about $5,000.00 to $6,500.00 in my area

For future reference, I looked at your pic 10. Port C is where the power beyond from the aux valve attaches to the block. The low pressure outlet will then tee at the trans case with the FEL low pressure outlet.

Just purchased a 49" ccm rotary tiller. The tiller is very solid and does a great job...Works very good behind the Kioti LB1914...

Chief, I started my light installation (in conjunction with the Power Beyond installation since the seat is about to be removed making it easier to get at the wiring).

I picked up a nice double SPST switch (at princess auto for $2) that I mounted on the control panel beside the cup holder and ran wires down the wiring channel. My intention is to connect the 3 rear lights to one switch, and the 2 forward lights to the other switch.

There is a perfect location beside the cup holder for the switch and sufficient room to run the wires. It is a little tedious cutting a hole for the switch, but a dremel helps.

The lights will be mounted as Harvey has them on a cross bar on the ROPS.

Everyone will know when I cut grass at night this summer...

Since it was a nice day (only 0 deg C), I started my installation of the power beyond kit. I read all the installation instructions first. It occurred during my reading that there were inefficiencies in the steps proposed.<br>

The power beyond kit involves adding a bracket for some hydraulic connectors in place of the top link bracket, and connecting those to the hydraulic system.<br>
<br>
The first step on the brack assembly is to mount it on the tractor; I found that it is easier if you mount all the hdyraulic connectors to the bracket first, and THEN put the finished assembly onto the tractor (why fight with a fixed bracket on the tractor with fittings when you can do it on the workbench).<br>

Also, remember to make sure the ROPS is not folded all the way in when you put the new bracket on (you won't get it out afterword).<br>

This step took about 1.5 hours (most of the time was making sure I was using the right fitting in the right hole since they all look similar to the unintiated hydraulic mechanic)<br>

I now have the bracket and fittings installed, so the next big step is remove the seat and sundry items to hook up the hydraulics. This will have to wait until another nice day. <br>

I also encountered the lift height issue with my BX but found a simple solution. Buy a right-side lift rod assembly (adjustable length with a turnbuckle, about $22.50) and replace the fixed length left-side lifting rod with it. You can now adjust the length of the lifting rods on BOTH sides. BUT BE CAREFUL... it is possible to make them too short, in which case they will hit the PTO guard. Shorten them a little at a time lifting the 3-point to the max between adjustments to acheive the max height. I was able to make a full-size (not BX series) 5' king kutter scraper blade work quite nicely with this setup.

Yes. I have a 4 in one bucket on a 430 loader. I just got it in late fall so I've only used it to pile some brush. It worked fine for that but I'll give it a true test this spring with some landscape work. I've really never measured the difference but it does appear to have less volume capacity than the regular bucket on my other 430. It appears the floor of the clam part of the bucket is sort of a hollow box beam making it thicker than the regular bucket. I'm asuming that is for strength to prevent twisting of the clam should you pinch a limb or something off center of the bucket. It will just about cut a 2x4 in half so it seems to have lots of pinch power. I don't remember the exact cost, but you do need the third valve on the tractor plus a line kit that puts a third set of couplers where the two sets are now on the right side of the tractor where you plug the other hoses in for the loader. The Drott Co. built an almost identical bucket for crawler tractors back in the 50's and 60's. I've never operated one of those, but I've watched them being used and was allways amazed at the things an experenced operator could do with a Drott bucket.

Hi folks, I have noticed over the last 6 months that I have had to pull the 3pt Lift lever back further and further before the linkage will start to lift my mower on the back. Today I pulled the lever right back to the top of the slot in the housing and the linkage did not even start to move. I removed the housing and tested moving the lever further back and yes the linkage lifted up fine. Has some slippage occurred internally somewhere? I see that one nut holds the lifting lever onto the shaft which rotates into the hydraulic system. I removed this nut but the lifting lever would not slide off the shaft(should it slide off?). Secondly I see there is an adjustable shaft which links the right hand side (from the rear) lifting arm through to a lever mounted on the hydraulic system just under where the lifting lever shaft is. This lever is all bent out of shape - could this be causing my 3pt lift failure problems and if not what is it for (does it matter it is bent out of shape)? Thanks for your help as I dont have any owners manual..Craig in NZ

If the gound is hard it takes a long time to soften with a disk. The weight of the disks is also a factor. Many disks had a shelf on the top to pile weight.
