look at kubota's hydraulic system...they advertise higher pump flow (gpm), but i believe the implements share flow with power steering. new holland has seperate pumps...1 for working...1 for steering. they don't fight for flow. new hollands 2 pumps add up to kubota's total+/-.
not sure if the new kubota you speak of is the same in that regard. would like to know.

It appears that the only thing now that will be "fading into the sunset" is the rumors spread by inconsiderate people who do not know what they are talking about. Please excuse any this response but I think we (Century dealers, Reps etc.) have kept our silence long enough. Now please let us get back to doing what we do best. Honestly and ethically selling our tractors.

Heck, if you're 100% in the right you'll STILL be up to your eyeballs in lawyers.

As an aside, I just read that Peterson's lawyer Geragos is going to claim that GPS technology is not generally accepted as accurate in order to throw out the tracking evidence they have on Peterson. The xxxxxxxx lawyers will say anything and do anything to get anyone off. Our justice system would be far better off if lawyers were tasked with getting at the TRUTH rather than getting people off.

It has been 3 or more years since I replaced my 3 pt mower. My Buhler has been good for me and does a nice cut. The old Landpride I had was sturdy and well constructed but did not provide as nice a cut.

The Kioti dealers either install their own battery or have it installed by Kioti at the NA assembly. Most dealers are going for the assembled tractors by Kioti. I would suspect that the battery is about the right size for the tractor but I would recommend as high of CCA as you can install in the area, as does the replacement guide. The periodic use that the tractor get and the beating they take in the unsprung tractor can knock the plates out of it pretty quickly. I have not had batteries last more than a couple of years.
Some members have tried the valve regulated lead acid batteries like the Optimas, with good success.

Duc, you have a lot of nice toys!!!! ;o) I almost forgot to look at the fence row. ;o) Hedges come to mind for me to plant along the fence row. I think it would look nice although you would have to periodically trim them.

Have you checked the lower rate valve (normally a small valve located right under the seat between your legs) to see if the adjustment knob has inadvertently been turned all the way shut? It would make it appear to have stopped functioning as it would cause the 3 pt. hitch to remain in the full lift position.

Jinma's (Chinese tractors) are not bad tractors. They just require a little more TLC and preventative maintenance to stay on top of. Sometimes they are not the best match for a tractor buyer who does not want to or have the shop resources to work on it to keep it going. For the money you pay they are nice little tractors but just not for everyone. The Green tractors break too. ;o)

You have to have hydraulic lines run to the front of the loader in order to run the 3rd function. Deere has a kit with a joystick that mounts on the right fender. Rankin Equipment has a joystick mounted button with a electro hydraulic valve that runs off the power beyound circut for a grapple.

Thats an outstanding buy for that mower. I take it it is used so I'd spin all spindles with the belt removed to see if they spin smooth to see if the bearings are all good. They are a good make mower.

The hydraulic infeed is very consistant and easy to work with. For the one on e-bay what would you run it with? They are handy and it is easy to make new friends with tools.

To get a single axle trailer with the landscaper rear would work. Try a 12' or 14' foot deck. Beaver tails are nice as it gives you less slope to drive up and a 1/2 ton pickup can pull it.

Whats under there, Gear box I mean? I've never replaced/repaired a gear box on a bush hog. My friend just bought an almost new JD 4200, (100hrs) and an old Woods M-5 bush hog came with it, in not so good shape (wasn't bought with the tractor) had been around the farm for some time. The tractor owner new very little about the hog except it was his fathers and he used it once last summer with the new 4200. Well, we got it home and did some inspection and the gear Box was empty (Not a good sign). I put about a quart of gear oil in it and it began leaking from the bottom of the gear box under the hog. Whats the level of complexity of fixing this thing? Please Help Murf, and other mechanical types.<br>
