Hi all, having problem with L2201. 3 pt creaps down and lever moves when this happens. Problem is getting worse.Is this low fluid or possible clogged filter/ pump?<br>
Also, is hydraulic fluid same oil used for tranny?<br>
I have noticed while under load, fluid seeping out of space around shift lever (not very much).<br>
I have finally found operators manual for this tractor but dont have it yet.<br>
Has been bitter cold here (upstate NY) doesnt seem as tho this should be a factor when tractor is warm.

Thanks for the tips, looking back now when I shut it down I wanted to check the radiator so I squeezed the upper hose and there was no pressure, removed the cap and checked coolant level. Now I'm leaning toward gauge or sending unit. No foam or water when the dipstick is pulled and exhaust seems same,no white vapor at least.

Bad news I just noticed that my la 302 loader bucket is torqued or twisted. I hit rock at the end of a customers drive way while plowing snow. I had never done there driveway before so didn't know it was there. I was in the process of dumping and lifting while going forward at the time. Any ideas how to straighten it out. It out of wack by 3/4" on the right side from the operators seat. Its not as heavy built as my old JD955. Art do they make a heavy duty bucket for a LA302<br>

good news i got three 3pt pieces today for $500: 84" woods rock rake, 48" massy ferguson box scraper and a 48" sovma ??? rotor tiller.

plots my screen had a lot of fillings for only having 150 hours on it. The 1st owner never changed it. I hope it just from the machining process at the factory.

Plenty of ice on the bay, plenty of snow to blow and it's an old machine. Slight possibility you may see it sink yet. Just drove by some of the marinas, two storage buildings with the roofs inside now. If I were building new in this area the incline would be greater than what is currently accepted on these homes, let alone the huge outbuildings. One new storage facility that is still intact has not much more than a flat roof, must be cheaper to build that way yet the owner is very well off. Probably how he gets it.

I found the site and ordered a set (Pat's Easy Change). I just installed them yesterday. Installation was fairly easy, although I had to trim about 1/4 inch off of one shim on each side to fit properly. It's too bad they cost the same as a quick hitch at TSC. There's a lot less steel in them.

Your draw pins are held in place on one side with a nut/lock washer, and lynch pin on the other. The system comes with 6 washers that are installed on the draw pins (one per side) and held in place with the lynch pins. That should prevent the implement from coming loose.

Well The saga continues.
I was driving my little orange bundle of joy down a slight grade to my pond and low and behold the $#&*(&% Piece of &$#)% popped out of gear! Thinking it may not have been all the way in I put it in gear again and went about 20 feet and it popped out again.

The service guy is coming to look at it in the morning...
As far as the concrete goes, If I don't take a bulldozer to it I will repair or replace it in the spring.

Got my tiller in and the Kubota dealer cut the shaft down for me. It's a stubby thing once they got it cut down, but it works great. Used the tiller this weekend and it cut thru tree roots and even some buried concrete. It's a well built machine.

I remember punch cards. Used 'em at ASU (Arizona) in the 70's when programming the big univac in the basement. Nothing like 24 hour batch turnaround time to speed up the debug process!

Well,if it is really a clover field,thats not bad now,as far as wildlife goes!You might just be able to lime it,the pellet lime needs to set for a while,powder works quick.Then disk it with your disk so the seeds you plant will make soil contact,then go over it lightly again with disk to cover a little,but if its a clover field your already close. The roller,don't think you would need unless your worried about how smooth it is,might even be bad for going over planted seed with,espiecially if dirt was damp. Richard

I don't know what they offer in the way of 3pth lift arms on that model but if telescopic / adjustable is not standard, get them!! They are a real blessing when it comes to hooking up stubborn implements.

If your going to be doing much work with that box-blade you will definitely want a hydraulic remote to run a hydraulic top-link, if it's not much more money you might want to consider dual remotes, one for the top-link and one for hydraulically controlled scarifiers, etc.

I would definitely get a loader. The first tractor I bought didn't have a loader and I did a lot of manual labor. Then I bought the B-7800 with the loader and have used it for everything from moving snow, loading wood, leveling the holes in the driveway, hanging Christmas lights (don't ask). It also sounds like you need a pretty good size machine as well though. I remember when wbowhunt was getting his tractor. He started out looking at the Kubota B-7500 (21 HP) I think and eventually bought the NH TC-33. He blamed it on the Tim Allen syndrome!!!!
