Just for kicks, I cleared all caches and reloaded myYahoo:
42,817 bytes.
To bring up the Kubota site:
479,641 bytes.
and to get to where I can look at Grand L models:

Then I get a message I need a newer Macromedia Flash upgrade!

HTML is THE Web programming language. If companies were as concerned with content more than presentation those of us looking for information (as something that clarifies and/or educates, not just a stream of bits) would find the Web more useful.

The newer Z-s have the ability to raise simuiliar to the ZD's but I don't know that I would value that from my stand point. I haven't looked at the newer Deeres other then on their web site and they don't say much there. The liquid cooled should have a higher torque rise then an air cooled engine..

Shearing shear bolts is a good thing, as you didn't break any parts! There must be something going thru that is causing it to shear them. If you have a gravel drive that could cause it. If the road you live onor by has stones they could be put in your yard by the plows.

Any hydraulics shop will 'custom' make a cylinder for a nominal fee. You want a 'plain end' cylinder with a 'male tang' on the cylinder base and rod end. If you want to get really fancy you can buy replacement lift arm ends with the swivel ball joint end for about $10 each at TSC, etc., and have them welded on instead of the'male tangs'.

We do them all the time, they cost about $200 each. Valve if required is another $100 depending on type and hoses maybe another $20 again depending on type, length & connections.

Could it be when the engine had the big jolt, it dislodged some gunk in the fuel tank?

Dirty or old gas can make it do some weird things, like backfiring.

MSC has the TempilStik crayons for $10.60 each. They last a LONG time and are EASY to use. I don't know if you'll do enough work to justify the $30.00 or so, but its nice to know when you are at the pre-selected temp.
You can usually find them at your local welding supply.

dk, I grew up in NY Finger Lakes area, but lived out west for the last 20 years -- MT, OR, WA, and most recently, Elk City ID. I worked for the Forest Service there for the last five years. My mom is now 81 and I decided I wanted to be closer to her. It used to be a full two-day ordeal to get to see her. It would take 4-5 hours just to get to the Spokane airport! So now it's a 2-3 drive to get to her place.

I was pretty hesitant to leave the west, but it's growing so fast with so much "progress" / so many people, it feels OK to be here. Being as close to Boise as you are, surely you know what I'm talking about...

I got my two magnetic heaters in a standard auto box store. I thought mine wee 250w but small difference.

I remove them before starting the tractor since there's little reason to leave them on and it doesn't take much to 'restick' them. They do get hot and in removing them I once sat one down on a drop-light cord and melted it nearly to the point of a short. That was in about -10F weather, so some care with them should be taken.

I think Mark's and my ideas are similar. It's probably best to try and figure cheap tests to tell if something will do the job. That's my sandbag notion for seeing if a 3ph down-pressure kit would do it. As Mark points out, the tractor may not have enough weight to develop enough down-pressure irrespective of any digger used--even with a bunch of ballast. Adding a front remote may be an expensive way to find out that it won't work unless there're other used for a remote. Maybe one of the loader's circuits could be stolen temporarily. Another good but tough question might be whether anybody's perc test in similar soil has passed for a conventional septic system.

Regarding flow, the lower tractor flow likely would just make it run slower, which still may be a decent test. However, the tractor likely won't have 9 gpm flow at working pressures that may be required to actually dig in the stuff, so 'slower' may mean quite a bit slower. The loaner is a real good offer that may avoid buying an expensive digger that still wouldn't do it. I'd want to have an understanding what happens if it gets broken though.

I'm thinking of driving it from my MTD 17.5HP mower. Do you think I could run the 200A unit, or would the 150A be better.
Did you get the basic setup or some accessories? Did you make your own mounts or get the parts from Zena?
How do you like the controls on the stinger. They sound like a nice safety feature.

All the quick attach skid steer attachments are the same. It doesn't make a difference as to the manufacturer. It could be bob cat or Case or Gehl or New Holland you name it and it should fit!

Chief is right the edge box seems to be the one that all rave about. It really makes them trucks screamers. there,s a guy with the edge attudide box in a duramax running a 13.4 through the quarter,that is awsome,I traded in a 01 LS1 ram air firebird for my truck, And it's pretty neat knowing you can with a box run the same as it did and then hook on to the tractor and haul it around.I have put a 4inch exaust and afe intake on mine truck and will be gettin the edge soon.

With a LA302 loader and 60" Mower around $13,000-$13,500. I got mine for $9000 with 142 hours. But the guy really needed to get rid of it because of some pain in the ass neighbors. I had to sell my 955 for the same reason. We live in the same neighorhood with ordinances not compatable with rednecks and their tractors.
