I would think, a WAG (wild ass guess) that you should have some blanks in your factory block.

My JD 4400 has 4-5 blank (I know you don't have a JD) I do not see to many pieces of equipment that do not have a few extra for dealer installed stuff.

The aux box in the cab simplifies their wiring since they only have to run 1 30amp wire instead of several.

If you really have a "stiffy" (a nice word for the other one) for an aux box any good auto or truck parts store carries them.

jason that's a good deal. Been there and done that. But I whacked the Vins and applied for a new one for a homemade. A lot simpler.

NYS now for that GVWR you'd have to go to a heavy truck shop and have the axles certified and brakes certified along with the break-away system.

I still have a registration for a homemade I made in Alaska and keep looking for the right stuff to start a new one.

Morning Ken that is the height for the 47 mounted. Your 3ph is not involved with the hoe except to lift it onto the hoe frame.

The 48 is 6'9" tall folded up mounted. HOWEVER you can lower the boom and get it mouch lower to go through a door way then raise it back up and pin it for storage.

Mine setting on the dolly is only a couple of inches lower. You'll need 3" of extra space to lift hoe off the frame or lift it off then rehook hoses and fold it up.

I do not see why a 3130 would not be able to handle a 6' tiller, however, having said that, realize that every application is different. By that I mean every tiller manufacturer offers a tiller that weighs slightly different than the next guys. The application itself, whether it be opening virgin, hardpack clay, or soft wet mushy ground will offer different results and will dictate what weight unit to proceed with.

I have been using a 5' tiller from "Befco" for nearly 17 years now on a B5200 Kubota. It offers light weight specs, that will afford a "good ride" with the tractor, however still offering a proper soil penetration. (No, I am not a dealer for Befco or any other make, just like to advise what has worked well for me) Again, the unit desired is application dependent. Let us know what you plan on tilling for a better assessment of sizing.

Congratulations on your B6200 Kubota...as John Fundy mentioned, it is in the "family" of "B" 4200,5200,7200,etc, and very well made machines. I have two B5200 DT units for many years already, new in '87 actually, and cannot complain at all. As a footnote to Chiefs posting, do not be confused with a "G"5200 (don't know Chief if that was a typo or not), however the "G" series is the garden series variety from Kubota, where as the "B" series in question is that of the compact utility tractor series.<br>

Your initial posting, questioned the difference between the B6100 & B6200. The primary difference, was the size. The B6100 was of earlier vintage, and offered a much smaller frame, and lighter weight than that of the B6200. Creature comforts were made better as the B6200 came to be as well. The older style pan seat was replaced with a higher backed cushioned seat - having had a B7100 with a pan seat as well, the B6200 style certainly is better on the bottom, so to speak.<br>

The B6100's were brought into production around 1976 with the gear (DT) units, later being followed by the HST models around 1980, and were produced upto 1986. The B6200,was introduced in 1983 with the DT models, and the HST units in 1987.<br>
Engine comparison: B6100 offered a 3cyl 14hp engine , with 11 hp at the PTO. The B6200, offered a 3cyl 15hp eng with 12.5 hp PTO.<br>
A great after market loader for this tractor, would be made by KOYKER, (www.koyker.com), model number 110 loader. This is a very well built, and better built unit than that was offered by Orange at the time, orange had the B1630 non detachable FEL, and the B1640 detachable FEL. Though great loaders by Kubota, the Koyker offers a bit more strength and robustness where you need it - and it is about half the cost, give or take. I am presently installing another 110 on a Kubota 1550 of mine, which is a direct bolt on subframe kit with hydraulics to the tractor.<br>
The real reason that you don't see many of these tractors around for sale, is that anyone that has one, LOVES it, and does not wish to give it up - myself included.<br>

JerryG44: I bought my TC-30 4x4 Hydro with R-4s, equipped with a 7308 Loader with heavy duty bucket through Steve at Corriher this past September for $15,300 (no tax) as I lived out of state. I paid an additional $650 for shipping to Arkansas. Service was great and delivery was timely. Steve was very helpful and responsive. I also bought a Bush Hog and Box Blade as part of the deal. Overall was very pleased. And by the way, despite having only 18 hours of seat time to date, I'm very satisfied with the TC-30!

AV8R no offsensive taken. Question if your work for case/NH why do you own a kubota? The only reason why i didn't modifiy my rops is my back yard is about 20% grade. So some day which i hope never comes it going to get rolled. So i have a strick Rops use policy with my other family members. Also about every engineer friend of mind and the dealership told me not to drill into the ROP at any cost. I am in college for mechanical and fire protection engineering. So i have a large pool of advise at my despoal. Also have a very good friend who does patent research and a 2nd cousin who is a patent lawyer. So i am in the middle of trying to get a patent for another device. Which i all ready have a waiting list of people who want one.

Nope. Always run Chevron Premium fuel. I did use one of those fuel injection cleaning systems awhile back but that should have been cleaned out of the system months ago.

Still curious. Assuming the SD2643 is the same as the Ford 1910 (Ford was made by Shibaura) it had 31 gross engine hp and 24 pto hp. The Ford 1910 was made from 1983-1989 and cost around $9800 brand new. According to machinerylink.com, a 1986 Ford 1910 4WD is worth $7030 in premium (perfect) condition, $6333 in good condition, and $5642 in average condition. Given these prices I think your price is a little high. Personally, I'd rather have the Ford 1910 - that way you could get parts and support at a Ford-NH dealer.

When it comes to adding a backhoe to a L-series the BH-90 is probably the best looking hook-up out there in it's class. There is no subframe hanging way below the tractor making the ground clearence about the same as a BX like with some models. They use a four point hookup like on the Commercial duty L-35, L-48 TLB. The frame keeps it tight and it also keeps it high so it's not going to be difficult to put on a trailer or load on a truck. By keeping it that tight to the tractor it has less leverage against the tractor chassis.

Shibarura makes tractors for New Holland. Probably a good bet that the fluid NH tractors use is OK for yours as well. In most cases, trans/hyd fluids such as Hy-Gard, UDT, or Chevron THF meet the specs.

Thanks Murf, The drum/winch is already in place from the old setup and actually works pretty well. I'll just be getting rid of the belt system that used to turn it.<br>

I think my 3130 puts out almost 9 GPM but that's a long way from 20. The guy I bought my backhoe from had a PTO pump and tank but I couldn't get him to throw it in on the deal. He had mounted the hoe onto his FORD 2N which was way too small for the weight of the hoe. For counterweight he had 500 lbs of weightlifting dumbells hanging with ropes off the front axle and grill. It was a sight to behold! The front end was still floating. I'm getting off track here but I will think about how I might gear a faster motor down. I suppose it will require a parallel shaft.<br>

I am not sure what a propane plaque heater is. Sounds very interesting. I could hook it into my large propane tank thats on the home furnace. What is a brand name of one of them. I did a search on Propane Plaque Heaters and came up with nothing.
