Green those sure do look like the John Deere light sets? ;o) Might cause a corrosion problem on that that Kubota tractor. ;o) Seriously, if you post the specs. on your light frame I can ask my friend who made up my 3 pt. trailer tow hitch (see pic # 15,16,& 17) and see if he would be interested in making some up for the board members.

Mike is big into the bass fishing tournament thing nowadays and he may not be doing the fire dept. work any longer. You may know one of his other two brothers. One runs a Pest Control Company and the other is a custom home builder.

wbowhunt: If you wanted some printed material explaining different installation procedures for different soil conditions, I would be glad to mail it to you. E-mail me with your address if you would like it. I have a ton of literature on installation.

We have a mine one town over and it is the source of the strongest trap-rock on the east coast, Tilcon. They shipped their stone on the rails to florida to use in the concrete for the space shuttle launch pad. They only charge $12 per ton for stonedust, so your price sounds right on the money.

A friend of mine has been considering trading his X585 for a X595. His Dealer had him look at a 2210 but mentioned holding off for a bit. The Dealer hinted about going to a JD demo at the end of the month and mentioned something about a 2220. Will have to wait and see if a new model is announced? <br>

Murf! Thanks for the welcome. I've been viewing the board for quite some time but didn't realize how much of the discussion I was missing.

My point is allot of people don't know their limitations and don't know how to approach things on the side of caution. Nor, do some learn from their mistakes.

I have a brother-in-law with that problem. He has been in ICU in Green Bay for about three weeks now with all his ribs broken, both legs, a punctured lung, some kidney failure, breathing disorders and blood clots in his brain and lungs. And oh yah, a broken jaw and a few missing teeth. So he can't get the last word in on an argument for a while.

If you can't find a Deere dealer willing to deal then your choice is made. My experience was that after negotiation Kubota and JD were so close in price that my decision was based on other issues.

Well made the change they are picking up my new 4115 today, may get it to the house on Monday. Change things over from my 2210 and they will take it back. Someone will get a nice 2210 for a good price Vs new. I guess one year less warranty though.

Our fuel distributor supplys us with Stanadyne's Performance Formula in 208 litre/45 Imperial Gal./55 US Gallon drums which in turn is blended into our fuel tanks at the time of delivery. That way our entire fuel supply is pre-treated, coloured or clear, on road equipment or off, everything gets a little go-go juice constantly.

All-round it is the best thing we have found so far.

Don't forget you need the mid pto,hydraulic lift cyinder and controls. When i had my 955 i almost sold the deck, until the guy realize he didn't have these parts. So sold it with the tractor when i sold the tractor.

Lakeman I have a 25'X 25' garage and a 15'X 15' workshop that I heat with propane plaque heaters that are mounted on the wall. They work great the are ventless. I bought them at Tractor supply and installed them myself. They work great they can raise the temp from 20 to 70 in under a hour. I would not use electric it is much more expensive and slower. The second floor of my garage is a playroom for the kids and has electric it does not heat up nearly as fast as the garage. You ca also buy a 100 gal tank at tcs one fill will usually last me the winter.

Thanks Chief. There certainly is a lot of useful info in that link. It will give me a great lesson in diesel fuel.

After reading another post concerning fuel conditioner I guess I'll stop by my local JD dealer and see what they recommend.

Gotta go there anyway because of a couple of new toys I'm getting.

Experience has taught me that not all PHD's will fit on a 4100. Before you buy it make sure the boom arm does not bind up against the seat bracket.

Tommy at Affordable Tractor sales (Bellville Texas) has the spring seat that is used on the LE version available for outright purchase His web site says $149.00. I got one from him and they are nice, need to change the hydraulic dipstick to allow the seat to slide. I'm not sure if this is the same seat that is the spring seat option on all Jinmas or just the LE. I have some 204s with spring seats due next month, I'll know better then. Our KAMA TS series come standard with a spring seat but it is not quite the same as the one on the LE Jinma, of course we think the rest of the tractor is better!:)

I originally was quoted 12400 for the tractor and 3500 for the loader, but I spoke to my dealer about a price I received elswhere that was 1000 cheaper. He ended up matching it within 100 bucks. He qouted me a MMM for about 2500. There were no pre delivery charges, even includes 50hour filters, and two hats. However, I ended up with New Holland hats, cause the TC30 was just more confy for me. Got it for a little less money too. YMMV

My old man had a Massey Ferguson TO20 and we had to replace the wheel where the calcium chloride ate through it. We drained the tire our selves and re-filled it our selves. It took quite a while but it was possible. We just used a tube and put it inside the valve stem. I wouldn't reccomend it because of the time but it can be done.
