Well, several tasks - loading, moving snow, shifting shrubs - but all do-able with a loader blade if the machine has enough power. (I might need to fabricate a narrow accessory blade for lifting plants - maybe 20" wide or so. Could start with an old backhoe plade and a mounting plate.) I don't need most of the Gehl Advantage attachments.

The one thing they don't have is the glideshift. That is a nice transmission that you never have to move a foot to shift a gear. The newer ones coming from yours is a lot quicker shifting even stone cold. The hesitation is nearly noticeable any more. The extra speeds spans the working range with more flexability.

That is the base number that is needed for the rest of the kit. That is the manifold that is needed to add on the valve. Kubota did not offer much for this at all until more recent years and now they even offer them for older models. They are listed in the price book.

Thats a lot of snow! White Christmas We get 2 or 3 inches about every other year! But on the other hand it can get to 100 in the Summer here so it isn't perfect. As a kid I lived outside of Detroit, I remember a 12" snow once, but been back there in the winter and don't miss it a bit.

Hi Mark,
The Farm Pro website doesnt show the 2420 Turf tire 2WD tractor which is the model that they put loaders on. This tractor has Power steering which makes it marginally usable with the loader. The base 2420 2WD is not suited for loaders at all, has a different front axle. I have seen the 2WD with loaders at HOmiers own shows, as i recall it had the JINMA loader on it. I did talk to one of the engineers at Koyker about this application and he said they did test it and they offer the 160 loader in a tuned down version which is what some of the other dealers are offering. Some dealers are puting the AG tires with wheel weights on the 2420TT model so there is some traction to push the loader and a little weight to keep the back end on the ground and that might be something to consider, but personally I'd spend a little more and get a 4WD for loader use on any compact, on larger utility tractors, its not so much a problem.

My buddy that sells Deere has a G5200 and he loves his. Got it for a good price on a trade in. Those are nice little tractors!

It just depends on what you need to do with the tractor. Your 2210 is much easier to handle and maneuver while mowing and trimmming. The 2210 does not have several of the "deluxe" features like position control on the 3PH, folding ROPS, and a comfy seat. The larger wheels, HP, weight, and hydraulics of the 4115 are its advantages. Both decks are top notch. If I had wide open mowing and backhoe work, I think I'd have the 4115 or a 4310. I am moving up to a 4110 from a 2210 and I could not quite justify the extra $2,000+ for the 4115 over the 4110. For me, with all of the mowing I do, it was the much smaller turning radius of the 4110 that sealed the deal. I just wish they woud drop the 4115's engine in a 4110 chassis :-]

You have MUCH more cutter than tractor. I use a 6ft. behind
a 45 HP and 65 HP. A 4 ft would be advisable. Been using these for many years--Downsize!!

In the background you'll see my pressure washer. A clean tractor is a happy tractor. Yes, only about 12 hours on it so far, more snow tonight though.

If you're referring to my 3pt hitch, it works great, use it to move the car hauler all the time.

I've got the same setup.It's a nice little backhoe that
does not need a subframe.I've had mine for a couple years now with no problem.I can take off/on in about 15 min.
The hoe is not the most powerful brute around but for general farm use it does anything you need.Just be patient
and you will get it done.

I have never used Slip Plate graphite paint in the chute of a blower, but it might be worth a try. The aeresol is less durable than the brush-on. We've always used it in mower and auger chutes as well as other applications where things tend to clog. Tractor Supply and similar retailers and coops carry it. Funny, this is the second time today I have recommended Slip Plate. Hope I haven't cursed the company or the product.

Speaking of slow & easy.

Be really careful about stopping too. If a log of surprisingly small size gets moving it can give you a real thump in the britches if you try to stop faster than it wants to.

A good practice is to be sure that you always have somewhere off to one side to swerve into in the event that it decides to pass you. This is an old teamsters trick, horses get real upset when a log bumps them.

Those are standard snow plow skid-shoes, they are available from any dealer who sells snow plows for pickups.

They usually have a 1"-1.5" round stem depending on the brand, they fit through mounts on the back of the blade and height is adjusted by moving spacers from above the mount to below or vice-versa to control clearance below the blade's cutting edge.
