I was looking at the site he linked to, I didn't realize he put them here as well. Much more convenient.

Those tires look a little too new. Still have all the fuzzy nubbs, and its way too clean. My tires were muddy before the ink on the check was dry.

I was told or read somewhere that you should not put pavers on stone dust, only on sand. That natural stone was OK on Stone dust, due that stone dust got to hard after copaction and could cause unven surface and hence stress cracks.
Then again you can't always believe everything you read. I prefer stone dust over sand, as ants do not build tunnels in stone dust like they do in sand.

Hello Forum, anybody know if/where I can get a used injector pump for a JD650? Is this an item that's rebuildable? What started out as a governor rebuild problem actually turns out to be an injector pump problem. Can I get a pump from a Yanmar dealer since it's a Yanmar pump? Thanks for your help, I'm having alot of trouble justifying the $785.00 pricetag for a pump from JD.<br>

I never thought about the black plastic. I've seen it over the ground before at construction sites and covering the sand but never thought about the use to thaw the ground to make digging easier! When digging frozen ground the toughest bucket full is the first. After that you can dig in under and pull it up to break it.

I just sold one, 700 hours with industrial tires and a woods loader for 12,500. That is a very easy tractor to sell. The 5030 is a great tractor. Are you buying it with the cab and loader?

MR. Topper,I am from the best place in the whole U.S. of A.,WEST BY GOD VIRGINIA. O.K.,I believe the topper is a bushhog,used to cut weeds grass and small saplings,or it could be a finishing mower? in any case,my 254 handles a 5 ft. one with power to spare,some guys I have heard even use a 6 ft.Now the hay bob sounds like a side delivery hay rake,or hay tedder,it would pull either,easly. Now if a haybob is a baler then probably not,I believe most balers require more than 25 h.p. at p.t.o. Now where are you from,now don't tell me up north somewheres,got to be futher then that. I wouldn't do it,get the 4wd,and I have heard some negative things about farmpro on the chinese board,mine is not a farmpro,so I can't tell you anything as fact,and as we all know there is something negative said about every kind and brand.Ithink the nortrac204,4wd,with loader is about 8,500,6 months parts and labor,pretty good rep. I mean there is saving money and then there is saving money. Richard

As long as the tire do not have calcaium choride in them. It will rust out the rims. 4in1 buckets are great on skid loaders and large wheeled and tracked loader. I wouldn't put one a tractor as the loader arms are not designed for pushing but lifting.

Just joking! I have gotten spoiled over the past few years and when ever I get onto a older tractor I always seem to be catching my cuffs on a lever or petal. I think I'm going the other way in life as I always wore 36-34 pants. My wife got me up to 38-34 and some of those I think should be 40 but they slide right off and they are so long that they are catching everything for me except fish and women. I think it's my old six pack abs that have turned into a keg but not sure.

I went down to my NC Kubota dealer today to pickup BX23 turf tires. I ask him how much a hat cost and he gave one to me -- tan with orange Kuobta and dealer name. I don't recommend spending 21k for a hat again. He let me talk to mechannic about how to adjust hyd lift so it works. I will get that fixed tomorrow when I change the tires and wheels.

I don't own one, but around here it seems that the hunting vehicles wear horseshoes and burn hay. ;-) A lot of the really good elk territory is closed to motor vehicle traffic of any sort.

Paul sorry, I thought I'd posted back. I would be looking at the L-4300 for the best value here for you. The larger chassis would help to run a larger mower. The unit could go with industrial tires which would give you good floatation for on the sand where the ag tires would give you better traction in the clay but the would chew up a lawn. You would easily pull a larger mower for your maintence of the property which of coarse means less time pressure on you.
