It's all good,never enough info !!! I do not recall the extension weights. I've got to stop being cheap and sign on to the premium. I belong to many things its getting $$$$$ but I can say that I DO use and particpate on this forum.!!!!

Grinder,you must be a Lenar dealer then huh? That web page was advertisement for a Lenar dealer in Oregon,You are pretty transparent,it would seem. You are the one that got on the chinese board and out of the blue started saying bad things about chinese tractors,untill I and Dennis straightened you out,yeah you're the one. This post wasn't about chinese tractors,did you read it before you jumped in? I just read your profile,guess your not a lenar dealer,you just hate chinese tractors for some reason,have you ever owned one?, looked at one? known somebody who did? or do you just like saying things you know nothing about? Lenar and jinma are two competing chinese brands,jinmas are out selling them,course a lenar dealer might say something bad about his compatetion,and if thats how you get all your info., then you shouldn't be giving any of your own out. I've got 53 acres - 20 is heavily wooded and I will occasionally be mowing the weeds on the rest of it that the cows won't eat. I've got 7 acres around the house and lake fenced and have a Scott's (J.D.) lawn tractor that I mow about 3 acres with. The land has a little roll to it and the soil is mostly sand with a clay base 2-5 feet down. Mostly oaks, cedars and yaupon. I'd like to have a FEL but the shredder is most important. I've got quite a few wild hogs and need a disc harrow to repair what they root up and figure the FEL would be helpful for that as well. I'm in South-central Texas so I get no snow and maybe 3 freezes a year.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.

I liked the front blower over the rear. So much more user friendly. I know it is alot more expensive, but neck pain isn't cheap either! I have new pics of it (snowblower) up now. Had a 9" snow earlier in the winter, and it worked great!! Rain and warm weather, followed by fridgid cold reduced our snow cover to less than an inch now, but...

Hi, bmclernon. I have two sets of tires for my 2210, and my dealer only wanted to give me credit for the turfs so I kept the four mounted bar tires and will be selling them shortly. Anyway, I never had trouble with the bars in snow and only needed 4-wheel drive in pretty heavy stuff. I'm only getting a set of turfs for my 4110 and am considering rubber chains that will not mark up or gouge my asphault. I think a set for the 2210s or the 4110s tires will run around $120. You can order them through Deer Creek Equipment from their website or at any of their 3 stores in our area. I should have my new machine nex week, hopefully before the storm forecast for Thursday. I really like using my 4100 ( I wish it was the 4115)during a blizzard. The rear blade did a great job for me 90% during a 3 day storm. I like the 4100 because I can drive that thing a few miles to help someone (which i did) put the flashers on and go!! There were driveways that I couldnt really get into because of the full 20" of snow plus the town plow drifts. I had to come back with the Cub Cadet, which bore right through it very quickly and didnt slow down considering. The height of the blower opening is 24". <br>
My situation when it comes to snow removal is more closer to a commerical application. Some are family & friends others are from when I had a truck and plow. They call me first to see if I can take care of them. Sometimes I cant and refer them to someone else. I keep it managable within a 2-3 mile radius..I keep it around 15 total...i had to do them over a few times..urgh..its more about enjoying it than money. Enjoy it from back when I was a 10 year old and used the older Cub 125 (my pictures)..<br>

My setup (equipment wise) is far from ideal. I got 2 machines when i could use one to do it all. My ideal dream setup would be a CUT, Blower, Rear Blade, heated cab !!<br>
I never said I had the best of both worlds - because I dont !!<br>

The cost factor(front blower,cab) associated with these things prevent me from reaching that dream....for now that is...depends on how the rest of the winter shakes out...<br>

Would your existing 3-Pt equipment have fit if it were not for the BH brackets? I am looking at the MF 2300 but I have a couple of existing rear blades I want to be able to use. Also, did you get a firm date on when the new TZs will be out?

I'd love to pass some snow down that way. You folks in Nevada and Arizona have been hurting for some time. Was in Flagstaff a year or so ago and I couldn't believe all the dead and dying trees from the bark beetle. More moisture is needed to keep the trees healthy.

I'd love to try a blade but it's sort of hard to justify. We average about 3" of snow in January, and maybe 6" total each winter, so this storm is an exception to the norm. Heck, we've had two winters in the last five with no snow at all.

I have an E232, 3 cyl diesel, with an aftermarket front end loader. The water pump recently burned up (bearings / seals gone) and I am looking for a new or used replacement. If you know the M-F crossover number for this tractor or if you know where I can get this part I would appreciate any help.

KABOTA, we get a lot of tourist here in the summer,but it seems like there is no big rush of them,its just like a small all summer trickle,most of the rafts actually put in futher down the river,I live back on top of a hill so it doesn't affect me much one way or the other,but there is never a traffic jam of them at any time. I was born and raised in calhoun and roane counties,now you talk about almost heaven,there it is,If you like that sort of thing,about an hr. north of charleston,and an hour south of clarksburg,pretty close to Jessica Lynchs home, nothing there but trees hills and small slow creeks,that whole area,[middle part of the state,is like that,to far away from anything for anybody much to even know about it,if you had 50,000 dollars cash,you could go to that area and in a few days have a livable house,barn,pond,fences,probably free gas,on about 60 acres, Richard

I think it's true that compacts have much smaller oil reservoirs than cars and trucks--a lot smaller displacement too. My dipstick is at a very low angle so a little bit of oil makes quite a change on the stick. The difference between the top and bottom mark probably doesn't make much difference to engine operation. Thanks to Mark it seems pretty safe to think that the top mark means full.

Mark: I forget which thread your box scraper comment was in. I think a scrapper should work OK for pushing back banks--especially for people without loaders. The extra weight compared to most blades should help keep it down. I do use my scraper a bit that way mostly in the spring. I use the scraifiers to break up my snow pack turned to ice. The ice chunks collect in the box and I dump them when full. I then get them off the drive with either the loader or rear blade of the scraper. Guess I've continued by cutting down some of the banks with the scraper--worked pretty well.
