Did I understand that they charged $650.00 to deliver. I live in mid-Michigan and can purchase locally without any charge. If you need it hauled again, please contact me first. I would do it for lots less. I have a 18ft. triple axle flat bed setting in the barn waiting for a road trip.

It may be normal for this tractor, but if it's providing misleading temperature information to the operator I'd say it's defective. This topic keeps coming up for a reason.

woozee, I wouldn't be running the oxygen that high unless I was cutting inch thick steel. The max I use is about 25 for cutting. Most welding with gas I'm around ten lbs on both. Might be a good time to take an evening coarse to learn what I should remember but can't!

I am not 100% sure but I think RHINO makes the backhoe for the NEW HOLLAND. At least thats what my RHINO rep. told me!

It comes down to two real determining factors;

1) Price, a blade is significantly cheaper. The fact that it is out front is a real bonus from the point of the operator's comfort and ease of use.

2) Site conditions. If you hae lots of room for snowbanks, and they wont hinder traffic flow, sight-lines, or cause damage to the turf, etc., then a blade will work fine. If you have limited space for stacking snow or other problems a blower would probably be a better choice.

IMHO, I would put a blade on the FEL in place of the bucket first, if it is not enough you can always look around for a good used blower to see if the two together is a better option for you. This way your total budget should be the same, the savings on the used blower will cover the cost of the blade and the combination of the two implements should be able to take on anything the Great Lakes can dish out.

I know next to nothing about Shibaura, but a few questions come to mind. Does it have a model number? How many hours are on it? Has it been stored indoors our out? Does it have a ROPS (roll bar)? After rolling my tractor I wouldn't even consider a CUT without a ROPS and seatbelt, but you may be able to find an aftermarket one.

Using a tractor to remove stumps I would say is ok for the tractor, BUT the manner in which the stumps are being removed could cause some issues. If you take your time and don't abuse the machine, I think the tractor should be fine. It's when you get into abusing the machine, jerking stumps with a chain, trying to pull a large stump out in one bite, etc. Any task can be harmful to a tractor if propper care is not taken. Patience and time will save a great deal of wear and tear on the machine.

I don't think you can readily buy a backhoe smaller than 6 or 6.5 feet.

I have seen internet pics of a 4.5 foot hoe that someone custom made but that is too small to do much with.

A dealer in PA has a used B2100 w/179 hrs. FEL, 60" mower with turbo bagging system, and 60" snow blower. I'm unfamiliar with Kubota equipment, but this setup has what I need. Asking $12,500. Appreciate any input on pricing.<br>

I think I would go with a blower. I owned a 7200 before my 7800 and used a 5 foot Woods blade to plow snow. It did ok but if I didn't keep it plowed it took forever and my driveway was only 200 feet long. I also found out that I couldn't pull the snow because it would pile up under the rear wheels and lift them off the ground. I could push it pretty good. With 900 feet of driveway, I would think either a bigger machine or snowblower.

AV8R: I used 2 1/2 in. high casters (flat tops - 4 holes). Just noticed that I only used 2 bolts per caster - plenty strong. I did not add holes to stands but I have thought about doing that to get everything to lineup without using jack.

Kubota does have the new programs out. I felt that with them running out of tractors this past year that the 0% might not be back and it isn't on the B's and L's the most important ones in our size. The lower interest rates make it so in many cases it doesn't make much difference.

Best the Government has figured so far is that there is DEFINITELY an inverse relationship involved.

It seems that when the temperature or the voltage goes down, the population goes up, there IS however about a nine month delay in the process... they estimate the power failure last fall alone will result in about 15,000 new Metric people.

I'm in the process of rebuilding a loader (mostly the mount) on an L225DT. I'm rebuilding it because I want to be able to mount it and dismount it in less than a minute and I think I have a design that will allow that. I'm not done building it so I'll have to reserve final judgement for awhile. I also plan to leave the loader valve on the tractor and plumb it for a remote. I can send you pictures if you're interested in the "quick-attach" design. Maybe you have better ideas - I'd be interested in hearing them.

Tom, both VOR and RADAR work because of a narrow highly directive radio beam. Any metal obstruction can deflect that focused beam and give a false azimuth reading. In some cases, you this might appear as a ghost image of a single object on the radar.

Only specially prepared glass will shield against radio waves. It is doubtful that windshield glass provides any reasonable protection from RF at all.

The best solution is to mount the radar antenna in the clear and above all humans. A pole, tripod, or any other adequate support will be fine.

If you have a BP/Amoco nearby, check them out. The Amoco premier and power blend fuels are 50 minimum. I have used them for 30 year without the need for treatment. The fuel has most all the stuff in it that the additive provides.

No doubt that the Branson is a fine machine. as far as compact tractors, these machines will give more bang for the buck than anything else out there.
The Tass 180 and 190 loaders on these machines are mounted on the tractor at 3 differant places. front, center and the rear end. The center mounting is massive. The 190 loader has bigger tilt cylinders and is equiped with a quick disconect bucket. real handy
