Is the shuttle shift out yet and is there a step thru deck and power steering like the Iseki tractor. I'm seriously thinking about the China tractor as I'm not getting much response to my inquiries on the grey market tractors. I'm hoping to find a crate tractor that I can assemble myself. I need about 30 hp to disc the sand I have here. I live in eastern WA state is there a dealer near me? bjr2351

Did or does your machine whine(like a really high pitched noise that starts loud and slowly goes away) when you first start it? Mine did, and it went in for some warrantee work and the service guy said that the whineing is the hydraulic pumps cavatating, or in terms you and I can understand, starving for fluid. They said there was a fix for it, so they took care of it and it has been great ever since. What makes you think your pump blew up? I hope it did not for your sake. Let me know what happens.

Thanks Art. But I can find nothing about the 1/4 inching capability in the manuals. Other ideas on where to look? I would think they (Kubota) would want to highlight that fact. But then, sometimes their manuals are... well lightweight.

Nice to hear from an 870 owner. I installed a kit on mine over the summer. If you're mechanically inclined, it's straightforward, but involved. You've got to drain the trans, remove the left rear fender, install the shaft and gears through the rear and bottom of the trans. The most challenging part is the linkages for the engagement and the pto brake. It seems like 50-75 pieces. After puzzling over the directions, you'll find that it all goes together pretty sensibly. I hear it's geting hard to find the kits. Mine was sitting in a dealers's stock (last one ). He let it go for $375 after dickering, including shipping.

Murf the rain cleared up for today and I split about a cord of wood and emptied the ashes out of the wood stove. Took out plenty of pent up anxiety out on pulling the wood splitter to the pile by myself. I think I must have hit every twisted, knotted, ornery piece of oak in the pile.

The belly Pan is a must! I love my 110. The creap feature that allows you to operate the Hydro trans and move the tractor from the backhoe position is something that is a huge operating asset over its competition.I can not say enough good about the tractor. On a negative note, I think I blew a hydraulic pump today. Im off to the dealer tomorrow. Im not to please with a breakdown at 450 hrs but other than this problem the tractor is an A+ in design, operation and Power.

I've loooked in the archives to see if anyone's addressed this, but I didn't see anything. I have MF's 50" front-mount blower for their GC2300 (VERY similar to Kub's BX2200). I've seen folks suggest shortening the toplink to raise a 3PH blower a bit in order to avoid picking up gravel. <br>

I'm wondering if it's OK to run a front-mount blower a bit off the ground (maybe a tad higher than the lowest setting of the skid shoes) to accomplish the same thing. I realize the 3PH is carrying the weight on the rear mount and that's obviously missing on the front mount. However, my sub-frame attachment seems pretty stout and if I'm moving slowly through snow, is it critical that the blower be supported on the ground? Can the short front PTO U-joint take this kind of treatment or is it really the limiting factor? <br>

It is a 4 x 4 machine and it seems to be stuck in 4x4. The lever that says its to switch it in and out will not move. Am I missing something here? I know from using someothers that it might take another lever, peddle etc. to allow it to work.<br>

I have the earlier 2mp version. Love it for photos at work, but the clarity wasn't quite there since I'm used to 35mm SLR. I understand the 4mp should answer that complaint fairly well.

Although usually I like to be in control of the settings, I have been very pleased with the auto mode results.

Hope you like it. I think you'll really like the optical zoom.

The umbrella is the way to go for liability. The catch is that you usually have to have your auto and homeowners insurance through the same company to qualify. We have a $2M liability policy that costs us around $150/year. Our homeowners policy covers the tractor for theft and fire, but it doesn't cover "collision" type of damage. We also bought JD insurance which covers about anything that might happen to the tractor. ~$40/year for all three years of the finance period.

Could be a couple of things, cold weather causing shrinkage of the seals or leaving one or more loader circuits under load.

The wife's bimmer has a hydraulic auto suspension leveling system, in the winter it leaves a drop or two every time you park it for the night, it never happens in the summer.

be careful of what you buy at TSC. the mass merchants do not have the same quality lubricants as what you get from a real oil consighnee. If you dont agree with what I'm saying just put in the cheep hydraulic oil, run it for a few hours, then drain it. It will scare the socks off of you. GET THE GOOD STUFF .... its cheaper in the long run.

Murf, actually I had the best of both worlds. I was a Chief Warrant Officer. The commisioned types didn't know what to do with us and the enlisted guys loved us. I have taken my share of hyd. oil showers in the learning process. ;-)
